Over/Unders on Royal Rumble Eliminations and Prop Bets

The following odds are from 5 Dimes and represent the American Market. Currently Mastercard, American Express and Bitcoins are being accepted for deposits. Odds are  being offered on number of eliminations in the Royal Rumble in over/under form. There are only odds for a few entrants on this, but unlike the odds on the outright winner, there is only action if the wrestler actually competes in the match. The bet will be canceled and the bet will be refunded otherwise. Braun Strowman is still favored to have the most eliminations and it’s no surprise he tops the over/unders here.

Braun Strowman – over 5 ½ +220, under 5 ½ -300
Brock Lesnar – over 5 ½ +160, under 5 ½ -210
Goldberg – over 4 ½ +115, under 4 ½ -155
The Undertaker – over 3 ½ +205, under 3 ½ -285

Odds on who will have more eliminations in the Royal Rumble between choice of two entrants have been set as well. Like the over/under odds there is only action on these if both wrestlers actually compete in the match.

Goldberg +130 vs Brock Lesnar -170
Big Cass +145 vs Rusev -185
Baron Corbin -600 vs Big Show +400
Braun Strowman -1700 vs The Undertaker +800
Braun Strowman -1200 vs Baron Corbin +600
Cesaro +210 vs Rusev -290
Kane -245 vs Big Show +175
Big Cass -245 vs Big E +175
Braun Strowman -585 vs Any Other Competitors +385

Who is Most Favored To Royal Rumble? Odds on Outright Winner Set.

The odds are in for the Royal Rumble match are now available at 5Dimes. These are expected to change erratically and visiting that sports book is the way to follow them, Registration is free and there is never an obligation to wager.  Click here to visit the sportsbook. The trend set by the European market are holding in the North American Market with Goldberg being the most favored at +333. Not too far behind is the Undertaker at +350 and Braun Strowman at +365. So these would be the three most likely to win the Royal Rumble outright, Goldberg being the most favored.

Randy Orton also has very good odds of winning at +425. Because there are 30 men in the rumble, everyone is technically an underdog. It will be interesting on Sunday to see if the “smart money” can set a true favorite to win it all. Join our mailing list for updates.

Finn Balor is rumored to be returning as a surprise entrant, conflicting with reports that he wouldn’t be back around Wrestlemania 33. If Balor show up, him winning would be a strong possibility. Even without him being announced he has odds at -550.

Samoa Joe is not announced, but expected to be one of the surprise entrants and is graded at +600. The rumors suggest WWE has major plans very soon. Chris Jericho’s odds of +1000 are close to the top and this is most likely because it seems he is headed for a match with Kevin Owens at Wrestlemania. It could very well be for the Universal Championship if Owens can hang onto it until Mania. This gives Y2J a reason to win the rumble.

Brock Lesnar is at +1600 which probably will become more favorable with Brock being a huge part of the promotion and one of the focal point for the actual Rumble match. For an “Underground Underdog” Sami Zayn is perched high on the list at +1900. The usual suspects odds become less and less favorable and then it gets bizzare.

Hulk Hogan and Conor McGregor are both set at 50000, meaning a $1 bet would on either of them yield $500 if they showed up and won. Shaquille O’Neal is at +25000 and he is gearing up for a Wrestlemania match with The Big Show. “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, Daniel Bryan, The Rock and CM Punk all have odds offered.

Who’s Favored to Have The Most Royal Rumble Eliminations?

Other than winning the Royal Rumble itself and clinching a title shot at Wrestlemania, the honor and glory of scoring the most eliminations is the only consolation that can be attained Whoever eliminates the most opponents during the 30 man rumble historically have had bright futures.

Take Diesel in 1994. While he didn’t outright win the rumble, he as a newcomer to the WWE made a name for himself by eliminating 7 men. This is same number of eliminations by another newcomer, Yokozuna who did end up winning the rumble and went on to defeat Bret Hart at Wrestlemania 9 for the WWF Championship.

Dielsel Beats Up Virgil

Kane set a new record at 11 eliminations in 2001 and this record wouldn’t be broken until 2014 by Roman Reigns. Reigns lost that year’s rumble but redeemed himself by winning it all in 2015. Roman would go on to win the WWE Championship 3 times and The United States Title once since then. He is currently set to challenge Kevin Owens for the WWE Universal Championship at this month’s Royal Rumble on the WWE Network.

Based in Ireland, Paddy Power is offering odds on who will eliminate the most opponents and currently the best odds are on Braun Strowman with odds of 1/2. This means a successful $2 bet would yield only $1. That’s how strong this forecast is at the moment. The actual probability would be a 66% chance of Braun throwing the most men out. Strowman also has the best odds and is tied with The Undertaker to win the entire rumble at 3/1, but that’s only a 33% probability as opposed to the 66% to get the most eliminations. The machine is clearly behind Strowman.

Samoa Joe has the second most favorable odds at 5/2, which would be a $2 bet to win $5. Rumors of Joe being fast tracked to a key Wrestlemania match are abound. He isn’t even on the main roster at this point nor has he even been announced as an entrant in the rumble. These odds beg the question of if someone has true, ironclad insider information or the hysteria over the gossip has forced the sportsbook to move the odds to maintain a “balanced book”.

Goldberg is currently at 4/1 and this is a recent sway of the odds as he was at 10/1 as of Sunday. This is the only line that moved as far as most eliminations go.

Baron Corbin is the next most favored at 11/1 and not far behind ties at 10/1 odds are Goldberg, Brock Lesnar and Finn Balor. Like Samoa Joe, Balor is has not been announced for the rumble. Finn is actually still healing from an injury sustained after a barrier bomb by Seth Rollins.

Here is the full list of odds from Paddy Power. You’ll notice some names that have not been announced for the rumble and a bet and these odds do not guarantee an appearance in the match. This is “All in, Compete or Not” grading. The sportsbook keeps the wager in the event of the wrestler not competing. This is fair because in cases like Samoa Joe, Finn Balor and even Triple H, the speculation is factored into the odds and in some cases driving them.

Undertaker or Braun Strowman No Longer Favored to Win Royal Rumble

[clink id=”14″]Paddy Power[/clink] is offering plenty of action on the Royal Rumble, with a selection of odds on 70 potential winners of the Rumble on Sunday January 29. The best place to watch is the WWE Network.

Update 1/26: Randy Orton is now favored to win the Royal Rumble. John Cena is favored to defeat AJ Styles, Roman Reigns is favored to beat Kevin Owens, Charlotte is a heavy favorite to retain vs. Bayley and Neville is even more heavily favored to win against Rich Swann.

Update 1/24: – The lines have moved and this is not uncommon. Goldberg actually now has the best odds at 3/1. Braun Strowman has been downgraded to 7/2 and the Undertaker to 4/1. A more in depth article will be out tonight with updated odds but a visit to Paddy Power will yield the most updated lines for all Royal Rumble betting. Look under novelties and then “sports novelties” and the option to view WWE lines will be available. This article will remain for posterity to study how lines can move.

Right now The Undertaker and Braun Strowman both have the most favorable odds, both at 3/1 odds. This is the fractional odds system. $3 would be won on a successful bet of $1 on either Taker or Strowman. Randy Orton is the next most likely with odds of 7/2 meaning a 2 dollar bet will yield 7 if Orton were to win. Finn Balor and Samoa Joe would rank as a tie at #4 to win. This is surprising considering Joe isn’t even on the main roster and Finn Balor isn’t expected to return from injury until at least Wrestlemania 33 in April.

Some interesting names also with odds are Hulk Hogan, CM Punk, Shaquille O’Neal, Conor McGregor and even Ronda Rousey. Retired Champions of the past include Shawn Michaels, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin and The Rock.

There are some unbelievable and seemingly impossible winners as well. Both President Donald Trump and President Barack Obama have odds of 1000/1. Neither man is actually booked for the Royal Rumble and either showing up at the event to any capacity isn’t much of a possibility, let alone winning the match. Floyd Mayweather is also at 1000/1 odds.
