Tye Dillinger  vs Aiden English – Winner Tye Dillinger

Erick Rowan came out in his sheep mask, took it off, put it back on… much to the confusion of the pre show hosts…

Main Card
[clink id=”33″ target=”_blank”]Dolph Ziggler[/clink] vs Shinsuke Nakamura
Ziggler hits the ring first… no one cares, this crowd is super pumped for Nakamura (poor Ziggler). Nakamura comes to the ring, and the crowd is super pumped. They start out with some chain wrestling, but Nakamura tries to overpower and outsmart Ziggler rather than just wrestle him. Ziggler takes control with a submission but also bends the hand of Nakamura. Nakamura reverses and works Zigglers arm. This is a very back and forth match, with both men looking strong. Ziggler gets a hell of a dropkick in on Nakamura, followed by a big elbow drop. Ziggler takes too much time and Nakamura cuts him off with a knee to the guy then a leg to the head. There is more back and forth, too much too fast to write. Ziggler catches Nakamura in a HUGE DDT, taking Nakamura down again. Both men get up Zigger gets cut off again, but almost gets Nakamura on a roll up, then again on another two count. Nakamura looks hurt. Both men are down, but Ziggler gets back up first, and goes for a superkick, but Nakamura dodges but Ziggler catches him in the ZigZag, and Nakamura kicks out. HOLY SHIT. This match is a fire first match. There is so much back and forth its impossible for me to keep up. After a few more minutes Skinsuke Nakamura takes the win by pinfall after hitting the Kinshasa.

Ridiculous “Fashion Files” promo from Breezango…

SmackDown Tag Team Championship Match
Breezango vs The Uso’s(c)
Tyler Breeze is still wearing his ridiculous janitor costume from his promo. He even mops the ring when he gets tagged in and trips up one of the Uso’s with the mop. Its a loaded mop to the face of Jimmy Uso! The mop gets broken and thrown out by Jay Uso. Jay goes to the top but Breeze rolls out. Breeze is literally just rolling back and forth across the ring. When Jay goes back for him, he kicks him in the head. Fandango gets tagged in, and Jay takes over, drags him over to tag Jimmy in. Fandango takes control and gets a 2 count on Jimmy. Breeze is now in a new costume dressed as an old lady… hahahahaha The crowd chants “Lets go grandma” Well Grandma throws a hell of a dropkick. This is totally my kinda wrestling. Breeze channels Mae Young and gives Jay a face ride… Jay tags Jimmy back in, Jimmy pulls Breeze outta his ridiculous costume and throws it at JBL. This match is a riot. Fandango almost gets a pin on Jay Uso but he kicks out. Jay tags Jimmy back in and he stops Breeze in his tracks but can’t keep him down for the pin. This match is extremely entertaining. The Uso’s chuck Breeze into the crows, but Fandango takes them out from the outside. They get back in the ring, and cut off Fandango, Jay pins Fandango for the win… Wait was he even the legal man??? The last minute of that match was a bit of a clusterfuck.

Sami Zayn vs Baron Corbin
Corbin comes out strong. Zayn is holding his own pretty well against the big man, but will his flippy style make up for the aggressiveness of Corbin? Zayn gets a good back flip take down off the barricade on Corbin, then get back to the ring and have a bit of back and forth but Corbin drives Zayn hard into the corner and then proceeds to stomp him out then give him a big back breaker. Corbin keeps control throws Zayn off a turnbuckle, Zayn is hurting with little time to recover. He tries to fight his way up but Corbin grabs him in a bear hug. Corbin at 6’8 makes Zayn look little. Zayn elbows his way out of the hold, but gets caught back up in another bear hug. Zayn gets out, but Corbin throws him into the ropes for a backdrop, but Zayn kicks him in the head, and dodges out of the way, Corbin dives to nothing outside, missing Zayn. Zayn goes to the top but before he can jump, Corbin is back in the ring and cuts him off. Corbin is a monster. Hes yelling at Zayn to stay down. Every time Zayn tries to get up, he hits him, and yells at him again. Corbin goes for another strike but Zayn cuts him off, and gets control for 3 seconds. Corbin cuts him off again, but Zayn gets up top and does a cross body on Corbin for the 2 count. Corbin moves so fast for a guy his size, its incredible. Corbin is handing out a ton of abuse to Zayn. Corbin gives Zayn a massive choke-breaker, and gets a 2 count on the pin. Corbin takes Zayn up to the top turnbuckle for a suplex, but Zayn finds it in him to fight back. Zayn takes Corbin down in a sunset flip power bomb off the top! Another 2 count… Zayn goes for a DDT is cut off, Zayn goes for the Exploder but is cut off, Zayn then does a crucifix pin, 2 count. Corbin hits the Deep 6, 2 count… Corbin continues his assault on Zayn. This continues to go back and forth, Zayn kicks Corbin in the face, for the 3 count. Wow… that was pretty wild.

Jinder Mahal pulls up in a limo and calls Chicago a bunch of haters… He says tonight he will turn the doubters and discriminators into believers, that his is the modern day Makaraja, then cuts a promo in Punjabi.

6 Woman Tag Match
James Ellsworth comes to the ring, he cuts a promo and says he is the Micheal Jordan of Sports Entertainment, the epitome of masculinity. Puts himself over a little more, then introduces Carmella. They are wearing ugly red gold and black matching outfits. Next to the ring is Tamina, shes looking ready to kick some ass. [clink id=”35″ target=”_blank”]Natalya[/clink] comes out in a dope ass outfit that is very Hart family. Their opponents, first to the ring is [clink id=”8″ target=”_blank”]Becky Lynch[/clink], wearing her hair in a faux hawk. Next out is [clink id=”21″ target=”_blank”]Charlotte Flair[/clink], (why do they trust her to to be their tag partner? ) and finally the current [clink id=”34″ target=”_blank”]Smackdown Womens Champion, Naomi[/clink]! My question is why haven’t they made her a glow in the dark belt dammit. The match starts with Tamina and Becky Lynch. Tamina aggressively attacks Becky, then tags in Natalya. Becky manages to get to her corner to tag in Charlotte. Nattie and Charlotte go back and forth a bit, Nattie tags Tamina back in, she assaults Charlotte, then tags in Carmella. Carmella shows good ability in fighting against Charlotte, but Charlotte uses her skills and reverses to tag in Naomi. Naomi takes Carmella out, but as she is really getting going Tamina attacks her from the corner. Carmella is a dirty fighter… She works Naomi over a bit, then tags Tamina back in. Tamina puts Naomi in a headlock but Naomi works out of it to be taken down by Tamina. Carmella gets tagged back in, then she tags Natalya in, and they try double teaming Naomi, but she dodges. Nattie and Naomi go back and forth, Nattie tags Tamina back in, as Naomi is about to tag Becky, Carmella pulls Becky off the apron. Nattie tagged back in Naomi seems to be getting worked over but then counters and tags in Becky. Becky takes on all three of the other women at once, then ends up in the ring with Nattie one on one. Becky gets a 2 count on Nattie. A bit more back and forth with Becky and Nattie with a lot of interference from Tamina. Nattie makes Becky Lynch Tap Out with the Sharpshooter.

United States Championship Match
[clink id=”30″ target=”_blank”]AJ Styles[/clink] vs [clink id=”17″ target=”_blank”]Kevin Owens(c)[/clink]
AJ comes out first to mass applause, his mom hair looking like he been chasing toddlers around the locker room. Owns comes to the ring, looking much like an angry toddler. The audience seems pretty stoked for this match (This is a ROH Smarks wet dream) The match starts off with a lot of back and forth, Styles tries to wear down Owens with headlocks and holds. Owens gives him some of his own medicine. The crowd is chanting for Styles… Owens smartly powders from the ring. Styles goes to follow him but Owen gets back in the ring. “Stupid Idiot” chant from the crowd at Owens. Styles goes for a dropkick but Owens cuts him off. Owens hit the ropes, but Styles hits him with the dropkick on the second go round. A bit of back and forth, Styles tries to take control but is cut off, then cuts off Owens, but its not enough and Owens comes back with a clothesline, to a pin, no count kick out. Owens takes control and knees Styles in the back, then gets him in a choke hold from behind. Styles is getting worn down with this choke but is fighting his way out. Owens cuts him off with a DDT then gives him a few senton’s for good measure, tries for the cover, but gets a 2 count. Owens goes back for the choke hold. Styles works his way up, but gets dropped on his back by his hair by Owens. Styles manages to get a quick kick to the head on Owens, but it doesn’t stun Owens for long. Styles finds opportunity and gets a cover and kick out on Owens. More back and forth, and Owens goes face first to the mat, 2 count for Styles. Styles gets another cover after that sick back breaker he does… Owens is slowly getting up but Styles goes for a suplex, but Owen reverses it with a backdrop. More back and forth and misses, and Owens gives Styles a gnarly neck breaker, for another 2 count. Both men are back to their feet, more back and forth, Owens gives Styles an neck breaker on the ropes. Owens goes to the top but Styles stops it, tries to pile drive him off the apron but Owens gets out… hey fight outside then both  men are back in the ring, Styles gets a cannonball from Owens. Owens working the leg of Styles and does another cannonball into his leg. He then puts Styles into a single leg boston crab. Styles drags him across the ring, Owens drags him back and puts him in an ankle lock. Styles gets to the bottom rope to break the hold. Owens takes AJ to the top rope, but Styles reverses into a top rope power bomb! Both men are struggling to their feet, Styles goes for the Phenomenal Forearm but falls, Owens gets a DDT on him for another 2 count. Owens gets to his feet, and gives Styles a few slaps to the face, but Styles counters with a Pele kick. Styles gets up and beats Owens down. AJ takes Owens to the top and Owens counters with a suplex from the top, for another 2 count… Crowd chants, This is AWESOME… I just woke an old guy up from his chicken nap at the coffee shop, cause I yelled. Styles manages to suplex Owens on the apron, OMG did that look painful. Styles breaks the 10 count, then goes for Owens, but Owens tosses him into the time keepers pit. Styles hits Owens with the Forearm, then tries to set Owens up on the table, but falls through the opening in the table and is hung up on wires, Owens gets back to the ring, and retains his championship by count out. BOOOOOOOOOOOOO What a shitty ending to a great match.

Luke Harper vs Erick Rowan
Rowan comes to the ring in a new mask. This one is a pigface gasmask combo. Harper comes out and the match starts right away. I am not sure how much to write, as it’s clear these two are just gonna beat the shit out of each other. Both of these are huge dominating guys. They also know each others moves as they are “family” or were in some sense of the word. Rowan is laying into Harper hard, but Harper isn’t backing down. Rowan gets a cover after a dropkick… that’s a huge dude to get that high off the ground! Its really not looking good for Harper at this point. He is going to have to think of Rowans weaknesses and use them to his advantage. Rowan gets another 2 count on Harper. Rowan goes to the top for a Splash but Harper rolls out of the way. Both men are on the outside, Harper is knocking some sense into Rowan then gets back into the ring, and jumps between the ropes, pinning Rowan between the announce table. Harper seems to be gaining some steam, gets a 2 count on Rowan. Harper gets another 2 count after a side slam, Harper then gets cut off and Rowan has control again, and power bombs him for a 2 count. Harper is down, Rowan is dragging his lifeless body about a bit. Harper was playing dead, gets a 2 count. Now both men are going shot for shot back and forth in the ring. Rowan tries to power bomb Harper but Harper reverses, and super kicks him in the face, HUGE clothesline, and Harper gets the 3 count. Considering I usually hate watching the big guys fight, this was one hell of a match up.

WWE Championship Match
Jinder Mahal vs Randy Orton(c)
Jinder Mahal is HUGE. It seems his neck is disappearing. Randy Orton comes out looking cool and calm in the face of a monster, but will his experience be enough to retain his title over Mahal? Usually Orton is one of the guys in the best shape in the company, but it looks like Jinder Mahal has surpassed him on that. Marriage must be making Orton soft… lol. Orton doesn’t even wait for the bell to ring, and jumps Mahal. He tosses Mahal outside then scares off the Singh Brothers from ringside… Orton beats on Mahal on the announce table, then throws him back into the ring. Mahal is looking a little scared of the Viper. I guess he never hung out with the snake charmers. (he should get one… hahahaha) Mahal looks pretty mad, he makes super funny faces when he is mad. They go back and forth, Orton almost gets an RKO, Mahal powders, Orton chases him and knocks him down. Mahal is crawls around at ringside, Orton comes for him, and he throws Ortin into the LED board. Mahal gets Orton back into the ring, and starts working his shoulder. Mahal gets a 1 count cover on Orton. The crowd is very divided, half cheering for Mahal, half saying he sucks. Orton gets back into control of the match, stomps Mahal’s knee a few times. Mahal tried a backslide on Orton, but couldn’t get it so gave him an arm breaker then a knee drop to the chest. Mahal continues to work the shoulder of Randy Orton. Orton works his way out, and send Mahal flying outta the ring. then gives him a back drop on the announce table. Orton bring Mahal back to the ring, but Mahal recovers and attacks Orton as he gets back in. Mahal continues to work the shoulder of Orton. Orton fights out of the hold, for Mahal to hit hi right on top of the head with an elbow, then goes right back to the shoulder. Orton reaching for the ropes, but Mahal is keeping him in the center of the ring. Orton fights his way back up, but Mahal continues to lay in the pain on his shoulder. Orton gets to his feet again, and gets the rope break this time. Orton gets sent into the corner, and Mahal runs in after him for a spear but Orton dodges and Mahal spears the post. Mahal gets up close and personal and kisses the turnbuckle thanks to Orton. Orton climbs to the top with Mahal to try to superplex him, but Mahal cuts him off and and up falling on the turnbuckle for a nut shot. Orton then goes for the superplex on Mahal again and gets it! Orton goes for the cover but only gets a 2 count. Mahal gets back up and these two are going blow for blow… Orton throws two good clotheslines at Mahal then Power slams him. Orton then gives him and up and over fall away slam but only gets the 2 count on Mahal again… Mahal hits Orton in the throat, gets a 2 count. Both men re down, working to their feet. Mahal looks pissed. Orton gives him a backbreaker, but his shoulder is not holding up. Mahal has rolled under the ropes, Orton pulls him back in for a DDT off the ropes. Mahal is down, Orton goes for his finisher, but Mahal rolls out of the ring again. The Singh brothers are in Orton’s face, he makes quick work of them, then gets attacked by Mahal, and tossed into the post. Orton gets thrown back into the ring, Orton catches Mahal with the RKO, and the Singh brothers pull Mahal out of the ring to safety. Orton puts the Singh brothers through the Spanish and English announce tables, or at least tries, these guys are too light… hahaha Orton Takes them both to the ring for a double DDT, then Mahal sneaks up on Orton and hits The Khallas, for the 3 count pin.

JINDER MAHAL IS YOUR NEW WWE CHAMPION!

Wow what a PPV! This was leagues above payback. Overall I thought the matches were great, and the only disappointment was the end of the US Championship match. This will probably be in my top 5 PPV’s of 2017.

With the global markets opening today, there has been some interesting movement in the WWE Backlash PPV on the WWE Network. Jinder Mahal, who became a heavy favorite at -1125 to defeat Randy Orton. It seems the wider market has issued a correction on this match, and while still favored Jinder’s chances have decreased to -405. This is one to keep an eye on as the world is now backing Orton with their money. Will the gamblers continue the trend of backing Orton?

Another wild shift leaves Sami Zayn vs Baron Corbin in a dead heat, both “favored” at -120. This is what sports books generally do when they can’t project a winner and big money wagered on either of these men would surely move the line.

Shinsuke Nakamura’s ridiculously favorable odds have been cut but are still strikingly impressive. Odds of -4500 downgraded to +2600 posits the question of why anyone is backing Ziggler at all.

Kevin Owens vs AJ Styles is unchanged seeing Kevin Owens with odds of -720. Styles earlier this week was favored to win, but the odds flipped completely this weekend.

These odds are all graded under “end of broadcast grading”. Often in WWE, the decision is reversed or a match is restarted after the initial decision is commonplace. The “end of broadcast grading” is designed to account these “Dusty Finish” situation.

wwe money in the bank betting odds

Who Has the Best Odds at WWE Money in the Bank 2017?

[clink id=”68″ target=”_blank”]Grosvenor Casinos[/clink] makes bets available only to The UK and Ireland. The odds can still be followed but anyone in the world however.

Money in the Bank, a Smackdown exclusive PPV is nearly 2 months away and betting odds are already available for the MitB match itself, even though there have been no participants officially announced. Grosvenor Casinos has set odds on 16 potential winners and with 6 participants traditionally being set for these matches, obviously not all of these will be involved. On occasion WWE will allow more than 6 participants, however the most ever has been 10. This is not a reference to Tye Dillenger, who has odds of +2000, which is an under 5% probability of winning. A successful bet here would multiply their money by twenty-fold, so a $100 bet would win $2000.

So what happens to bets on wrestlers that never end up being in the match? Those bets would be graded as a loss because this is more of a prop bet based on potential of both being in the match and winning. Technically none of these choices are guaranteed to be entered in the match but realistically all the participants are likely to be from this lot.

It’s no secret that WWE is very serious about Baron Corbin becoming a top level player this year and a MitB win is plausible if not likely. At odds of +150, Corbin has the best chances out of anyone to take the briefcase and the right to cash it in for a WWE Championship title shot at a time of his choosing. This is a 40% chance of winning and from a field of 16 hopefuls, these are outstanding odds.

The next most favorable odds have been set for Shinsuke Nakamura at +200, a 33% probability. After great success in both NJPW and NXT, Nakamura finally made his way to the WWE main roster as part of the Superstar ShakeUp, joining the Smackdown Brand. With the big plans for Shinsuke eminent, a MitB win a few months into this run would solidify the “King of Strong Style” as a top level talent in the permanent title picture.

With odds of +250, or a 28% chance, Kevin Owens is the next most likely to win this match. He’s already proven that he not only can hang in the main event scene, but that he absolutely belongs there as he has built a reputation for delivering big time in top matches. After a well received reign as Universal Champion on Raw, Owens has joined Smackdown with sights on winning that brand’s most coveted prize.

AJ Styles, who has a nice title reign as WWE Champion recently, is 4th most likely at +400, a 20% probability. This would appear to be an undervaluation of Styles and because of this the lines could move in his favor if gamblers back him under his current odds. AJ, having just arrived in WWE last year, has never won a Money in the Bank match and this is an accomplishment that would be another feather in his cap.

Below is a full list of potential winner with their odds. These are expected to change as we near to MitB on June 18.

roman reings vs braun strowman

WWE News Today – Roman Reigns vs Braun Strowman in an Ambulance Match, “Broken” Hardys Gimmick in WWE

WWE News and Rumors April 20, 2017

  • Roman Reigns vs Braun Strowman at Payback is likely to be made into an ambulance match. This would play off Braun toppling over an ambulance with Reigns inside on a recent episode on Raw.
  • WWE has plans to use the Broken Hardys gimmick in their product and are working with Impact Wrestling to work out an agreement where this may become a reality.
  • John Cena posted a clip on twitter of himself doing crossfit, to which Seth Rollins responded “I knew I’d sucker ya in!” Rollins is an avid cross fitter.
  • At last night’s NXT Tapings at Full Sail, Ember Moon may have been injured after crashing shoulder first into the barricade. This was during a battle royal that will air next month.
  • After Smackdown went off the air Tuesday night in Louisville, KY, Shinsuke Nakamura defeated Dolph Ziggler.
  • Mike and Maria Bennett will join Smackdown, having been backstage for the past few weeks. This will be Maria’s return as she has previously been in WWE as Maria Kanellis. Mike Bennett will make his debut and it looks like NXT will be bypassed for a fast track to the main roster.
  • Shelton Benjamin clears up falsehoods by stating that he is a free agent and not under contract with WWE, though he acknowledged this could change. Shelton was set to return to the point of getting vignettes on Smackdown, but an injury prevented both a return and a contact.
  • Revival member, Dash Wilder is out with a broken jaw for 8 weeks. This is an in ring injury that happened while tagging with partner Scott Dawson to take on Shinsuke Nakamura and Hideo Itami at an NXT event in Spartanburg, SC. The injury required Wilder to have his jaw wired shut.
  • Simon Gotch will now be known as Simon Grimm on the independents as WWE owns the rights to the “Simon Gotch” name.

When Will Shinsuke Nakamura Make His Main Roster Debut?

The following European Market odds are from Paddy Power. Wagers are not available from all countries. Visit Paddy Power [clink id=”14″]by clicking here[/clink].

Shinsuke Nakamura has been absolutely tearing it up in NXT since his debut at NXT Takeover Dallas last year where he easily defeated Sami Zayn. From there he was able to beat everyone he stepped into the ring with, silencing the critics that felt he couldn’t make the transition from the Japanese Indies to NXT. The only defeat yet to be avenged in his recent loss to Bobby Roode which ended his second reign as NXT Champion.

Many feel it’s long overdue for Nakamura to move up to the main roster on Raw or Smackdown, however he was not drafted last year during the brand extension. With no NXT Championship around his waist to defend, the time is ripe and there are odds on exactly when he will appear. The most likely time will be sometime in April with odds of 1/2 and this month coincides with Wrestlemania. Even is Shinsuke does not appear at Mania, it is very likely he will show up on the main roster shortly thereafter.

Here are the odds for when exactly we’ll see Shinsuke make his main roster debut.

February 2017 6/1

March 2017 3/1

April 2017 1/2

May 2017 or later 2/1

NXT TakeOver: San Antonio

So the Royal Rumble has me pretty excited about wrestling right now, and I have access to the WWE Network, so I’ve been trying to catch up on what I have been missing out on.

Tonight I watch the NXT TakeOver and give you my thoughts.

Here is the line up from WWE.com

NXT General Manager William Regal has revealed the following match card for this incredible event:

NXT Championship Match
Shinsuke Nakamura (c) vs. Bobby Roode (PREVIEW)

NXT Women’s Championship Fatal 4-Way Match
Asuka (c) vs. Billie Kay vs. Peyton Royce vs. Nikki Cross (PREVIEW)

NXT Tag Team Championship Match
#DIY (c) vs. The Authors of Pain w/Paul Ellering (PREVIEW)

Tye Dillinger vs. Eric Young (PREVIEW)

Roderick Strong vs. Andrade “Cien” Almas (PREVIEW)

I will update each match review as they happen! Keep in mind, I haven’t seen anything but bits and pieces of NXT in years…

Tye Dillinger vs Eric Young –

Dillinger goes after him right away, frankly the match is too fast to do a play by play.  Eric young is getting his ass handed to him or so it seems. Dane took Dillinger out and Young did a sweet top rope elbow drop. I guess he’s got his bearings back. This is a great match, sad I been missing this! There is a lot of interference from ringside, and Dillinger takes them out from the top rop to the outside, this match ends with Eric Young pinning Dillinger.
Really gotta catch up on whats going on here, but so far I am digging this show.

Roderick Strong vs. Andrade “Cien” Almas – It”s nice to see Roderick Strong on TV. This match is very back and forth  with a very classic wrestling type feel. The match starts with some grappling back and forth. Almas and Strong are a good matchup. Those kicks to the face Roderick gives are still just as impressive as I remember. Almas is great in his roll, with hair pulling, slapping, chocking with the boots. I like this guy’s style. He gets Strong into a submission hold in the ropes, not to win but to do some damage. Almas gets the first cover and a 2 count. He tries to get a submission on strong but it didn’t work, a lot more back and forth and Strong gets the second pin attempt in the match another two count. This match is definitely engaging to the point its hard to write. Almas goes for a second pin, two count again.  We have both men down, the ref is counting, both get back to their feet, Strong takes control but is counter by Almas. Almas gets Strong in another double arm lock. Strong gets out with a foot on the rope. Crowd chants “This is Awesome” I agree. Strong gives Almas a backbreaker on the turnbuckle, and goes for another pin. 2 count. Almas still down Strong picks him up for his finisher, but is cut off… more back and forth. Strong ends it with a boot to the face to win.

When we come back from break Michael Hayes is at ringside. Then we go into some ridiculously long promo/flashback videos.

Next match up is #DIY (c) vs. The Authors of Pain w/Paul Ellering – The Authors of Pain come out first, and honestly its pretty awesome to see a monster tag team with a diabolical manager. Pro wrestling need that. #DIY come to the ring, Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano both made waves in the independents. It feels like WWE bought ROH one wrestler at a time…
Not even going to try to do a play by play her but will give you the highlights. The Authors of Pain are huge, but I am not sure they can out wrestle #DIY by the looks of them. They both weigh over 300lbs… Rezar is pretty agile for a big man, the commentators said he has a martial arts background. Gargano is taking a beating. Gargano takes both of the AOP out by diving onto them from the ring, on opposite sides of the ring. Gargano gets a busted face, why is he still in? Tag out fool. Paul Ellering is contributing to the mayhem, so Ciampa has yet to have been officially tagged in. AOP is keeping Gargano in their corner now that they have him. I’m really digging AOP but they need new gear. Something meaner.Gargano is still trying for that tag, but nope. Gargano is taking a beating. Gargano finally gets the tag after running one of the AOP into the steel post. Ciampa comes out on fire. He takes on both AOP at once. tried to get a pin but only a 2 count. Ciampa gets cut off and almost pinned by Akam. Ciampa tags gargano for a double spear, but Akam kicks out again, Rezar is down at ringside. Gargano tossed out,. but Ciampa is the legal man, Rezar tagged back in for a huge neckbreaker but Ciampa kicks out. Another pin on Akam, Both teams are in the ring double submission, Rezar picks up Gargano and throw him on the other two. Crowd is chanting “The is awesome again” they like this more than RAW…. The authors of pain put a beating on Ciampa, and give him “The Final Chapter” to pin him for the win. Authors of Pain are your new NXT Tag Champions.

Seth Rollins comes out and says he’s taking this bitch over. Hell yeah. He calls HHH out, and HHH comes out then is surrounded by security. Boo what kinda punk ass shit is this? He sends security after Rollins who takes his shirt off and beats the shit out of all of them, then more security on the way up the ramp. Hes got 6 or 7 guys on him, crowds screaming “let him go.” Refs come out, they push him up the ramp, crowd is shouting “BULLSHIT”. Now they are chanting “We Want Rollins”

Next match is a fatal 4 way match for the NXT Womens Championship. Asuka (c) vs. Billie Kay vs. Peyton Royce vs. Nikki Cross – Nikki Cross comes to the ring first, shes pretty intimidating. She reminds me of a young Amy Lee. Nect are Billie Kay and Peyon Royce. Askuka comes to the ring last, her ring coat is dope. She is the undefeated NXT Women’s Champion. She doesn’t have to be involved in the pinfall to lose the championship in this match. No count outs no DQ’s.
Nikki and Asuka start it off, the other wait to get involved for a moment before attacking. Asuka takes everyone out. Nikki is ranting at Asuka but Billie and Peyton get back into it. They do a dope double german suplex. Nikki and Asuka are going at it one on one again. Asuka gets first pin attempt on Nikki but she kicks out. These two are going at it and the Australian girls are nowhere to be found. Nikki is now in control and is abusing Askula, giving her a knarly neckbreaker off the apron  taking her out, then does a top rope cross body onto Billie and Peyton. The brawl goes outside the ring, to the announce table. Peyton and Billie give Nikki a big suplex to a table near the announce table. Nikki is out, Peyton and Billie go after Asuka, realizing she is still down. They both try to pin Asuka but Asuka gets up, Nikki still hasn’t moved. Peyton almost pins Asuka but she bridges out. Asuka takes both of the Australian girls gown, and retains her belt. Nikki Cross is still down, but eyeing Asuka as she walks up the ramp.

Next up is NXT Championship Match: Shinsuke Nakamura (c) vs. Bobby Roode – Roode comes to the ring. Nakamura has an super elaborate entrance. Nakamura seems pretty confident in an overtly sarcastic way. God that is one ugly title belt… you sure you guys want that? Nakamura and Roode stare each other down. Roode has sequins from his jacket stuck to him… lol.
The first move is by Roode, but it is back and forth from standing to on the ground. Nakamura seems to be toying with Roode. Roode starts to toy with him by acting like hes going to get out of the ring. Nakamura grabs Roode in a waist lock, but Roode breaks it on the rops and takes over. He gets Nakamura into a submission hold but Nakamura gets out and verses, but still doesn’t get the upper hand. The crowd is clapping trying to get behind the champ. Nakamura comes back, and begins to take over the match. Roode rolls to the outside, Nakamura follows, giving the fans an up close and personal with Roode’s face, before bringing him back to the ring. Roode turns it around and Nakamura takes a nasty fall off the top rope to the floor backwards. Roode stays on him, tossing him into the stairs. Poor Nakamura. Roode pulls him to the ring to try to cover him, but only a 2 count. Crowd is cheering Nakamura on. as Roode continues to assault the champion. Nakamura builds up again, this match is too interesting for play by play. Roode cuts him off again and attempts a pin. gets 2 count. The crowd is super pumped for this match. Roode tries to suplex Roode of the top but Nakamura throws him off and drop kicks him.  Nakamura tried to get in into the corner but Roode gains control again or so Nakamura wants him to think. Nakamura takes back control over the match stomping the shit outta Roode. Nakamura does some crazy shit into an arm bar, but since he cant lock that in he goes for the triangle but hes is outpowered b Roode. Nakamura gives Roode this wicked sliding kick to the face, covers him, but only a 2 count. Nakamura goes to the top, Roode rolls outta the ring, Nakamura jumps to the outside hitting Roode in the heard, but hurting his knee in the process, They get back in the ring, Nakamura gives Roode the “Final Blow” but can’t get to cover Roode because of his knee. Nakamura wants to continue, the trainer doesn’t want to let him, but he does anyway Roode gives Nakamura a DDT but Nakamura kicks out. Roode goes after the hurt knee and works it hard in a submission, but Nakamura fights out of it. Roode gives him another big suplex and gets the 3 count, making Bobby Roode your new NXT Champion.

Final thoughts: I really enjoyed this. I cannot believe I have been missing out on this and will try to stay current with this brand. I’m also digging 205 Live. You can watch all this. The Royal Rumble, Wrestlemania and more on the WWE Network.
