My first trip to Wrestlemania

So as I write this I am sitting at the airport, and my plane has been delayed. But I have to say I am super duper stoked for this trip!

Update:
The delay wasn’t so bad, and despite being miffed they ended up making me check my carry on, it all worked out.

We rented a place by a lake for the week, so its incredibly quiet and perfect for work when we aren’t out and about. Since I live in LA, I got used to hearing helicopters, sirens, car alarms, and other nonsense all night, out here its just us and the crickets.

We officially get started tomorrow, and have events lined up all day. First we will be headed to PromoterCon, then we are headed to WrestleMania Axxess which is like WWE’s version of a wrestling convention, and then I hear we may hit the ROH show up, which would would be great first day out. We plan on hitting quite a few of the independent events up that are happening including “Brian Christopher’s Too Sexy Wrestlemania Party” On Friday night.

The WWE events we will be attending this week are Axxess on Thursday, Hall of Fame on Friday, Wrestlemania on Sunday, RAW on Monday, and Smackdown Live on Tuesday.

To follow all the fun, make sure you follow us on social media @BetWrestling on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Snapchat! Feel free to hit us up to hang out!

Who is Favored to Win the IC Title Match at Wrestlemania?

The following European Market odds are from Paddy Power. Wagers are not available from all countries. Visit Paddy Power by clicking here

WWE has finally announced the Intercontinental Championship match for Wrestlemania on the WWE Network. Defending Champion Dean Ambrose will face challenger Baron Corbin. These two have developed a healthy rivalry as of late and according to Irish sports book Paddy Power has the odds on Baron Corbin to win the match. This would include a DQ or count out win in which the title itself wouldn’t change hands. Corbin is favored at 1/6 to win, an 85% chance, so it would take a $6 bet to win only $1. Ambrose is the underdog at 7/2.

Last year at Wrestlemania 32, Baron Corbin made his Wrestlemania debut, winning the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal. Dean Ambrose, on the other hand, was destroyed by Brock Lesnar. In a No Holds Barred Match. Ambrose was able to win the WWE Championship after last years Mania massacre, and was also able to win the IC title he currently holds.

Odds on John Cena Proposing to Nikki Bella

The following European Market odds are from Paddy Power. Wagers are not available from all countries. Visit Paddy Power by clicking here

Rumors of John Cena proposing to longtime girlfriend Nikki Bella at Wrestlemania in Orlando are so strong Paddy Power has posted odds on the possibility. Cena proposing is actually heavily favored at 2/9, which gives it an 82% chance of happening according to these odds. This means a $9 bet would yield only $2 with the proposal being very backed at this time.

These odds can be followed at Paddy Power by looking at the A-Z Menu and selecting “sports novelties”. Cena not proposing is currently sitting at 11/4 so a $4 bet would win $11. These long odds are likely driven by a number of moving parts.

For years on Total Divas and even the recent spin-off “Total Bellas”, an ongoing element is Nikki Bella want to be married and having children. Cena has been mostly against this and has made this very clear, even going to measures involving the signing of a legal document when Nikki moved in with him.

Even with these reality shows prominently featuring the romantic relationship between John and Nikki, it was not acknowledged on WWE programming like Raw and Smackdown until very recently. After the brand split, Cena and Bella both ended up on Smackdown together. Several of Nikki’s opponents used her relationship with John as material for trash talking. This eventually led to a Wrestlemania Mixed Tag Team Match with John and Nikki facing of another real life couple in The Miz and Maryse. Cena and Nikki are currently favored at 4/11 to win this match.

This is also thought to be Nikki Bella’s retirement match and it is known that John Cena will be taking more time off after Wrestlemania. A proposal for marriage would be a Wrestlemania moment that will be remembered as one of the most monumental, especially if it;s between two top box office draws.

Wrestlemania 33 Betting Odds, Who is Favored to Win?

The following European Market odds are from Paddy Power. Wagers are not available from all countries. Visit Paddy Power by clicking here

The European market has released odds for most of the matches for this year’s Wrestlemania in Orlando. These lines can be used to determine early projections for who will be victorious at the “Show of Shows”. A quick and easy explanation if you are unaware of how to interpret these lines is that a bet on the number to the right of the forward slash would win the number on the left. If the number on the left is larger than that of the right, this indicates the underdog and vice versa for the favorite. For example Universal Champion Goldberg is an underdog at 6/1 currently so a successful $1 would win $6. Brock Lesnar, who is challenging Goldberg, is a favorite at 1/16 with a $16 bet winning only $1. that’s how favored Brock is right now. This could change.

The current projected winners for Mania are the aforementioned Lesnar, Randy Orton, Bayley, Kevin Owens, Gallows & Anderson, Roman Reigns, John Cena & Nikki Bella, AJ Styles and Seth Rollins. The Cruiserweight Championship have both Neville and Austin Aries is in a dead heat with both at 6/5 and this will settle in one direction or the other soon enough. The Andre the Giant Battle Royal have had lines available for a while and Braun Strowman has been favored all along to win it. No odds are available for The Smackdown Women’s Championship as of press time.

Once again these are the European odds and American odds will be available as we get closer to the event. For updates on when this happens please subscribe for updates.

Wrestlemania Favorites To Leave as Champion, How Many Titles Change Hands, Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal

The following European Market odds are from Paddy Power. Wagers are not available from all countries. Visit Paddy Power [clink id=”14″]by clicking here[/clink].

The Irish sportbook Paddy Power has had odds on who will walk out of Wrestlemania with the WWE Heavyweight and Universal Championships for over a month and there has been no major changes in Randy Orton and Brock Lesnar leaving with those titles respectively.

Odds are now also being offered on the Intercontinental, United States, both the RAW and Smackdown Women’s Championships as well as how many title changes there will be at Mania. The Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal also has odds.

Right now Bayley and Naomi, the current champions, are according to these odds expected to still be champions after the Wrestlemania is in the books. Also, Kevin Owens is favored to win the United States Championship, currently held by the man he turned on, Chris Jericho in a much anticipated and thoroughly built up match.

Baron Corbin is favored to be Intercontinental Champion, a title currently held by Dean Ambrose. Corbin has never held a title in the WWE, including during his dominant run in NXT. Braun Strowman is favored to win the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal this year, which seems perfectly reasonable considering Braun has been moving up in star power more than anyone else and yet has no planned Mania match to speak of.

How many title changes will there be at Wrestlemania? Even bets are being taken at 6-7 and this seems like a high number with only 9 titles for the main roster and no confirmation on if all of them will even be defended.

Hulk Hogan Favored To Get in the Ring at Wrestlemania, Rey Mysterio and Kenny Omega Odds

The following European Market odds are from Paddy Power. Wagers are not available from all countries. Visit Paddy Power [clink id=”14″]by clicking here[/clink].

The Hulkster Could Return in Dramatic Fashion

Whispers of a WWE return for none other than Hulk Hogan are running wild. So much to the point that Irish sports book Paddy Power is now offering favorable odds on the Hulkster making an in ring appearance at Wrestlemania is Orlando this year. Hogan has been away from the WWE since 2015, but the company has been making frequent references to Hulk and many are perceiving the mentions as the foreshadowing of a huge return. Odds of 1/3 have been posted on if Hogan steps into the ring at Mania meaning a $3 bet would win $1 because the idea is so favorable.

This wager is only one option for the “in ring appearance” prop bet and Hulk has the only favorable odds for anyone not currently under contact. Both Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins have excellent odds at 1/10 which is puzzling due to Rollins currently being injured. There are high hopes Seth will be healthy by Wrestlemania, but these odds seem out of place given the circumstances.

Ronda Rousey’s odds are unfavorable at 3/1 as are Conor McGregor’s at 5/1. Former WWE mainstay Rey Mysterio actually has odds of 8/1 and he hasn’t been with the company in almost 2 years. Kenny Omega has odds of 10/1, about 10%, which seems high beings that he’s expected to re-sign with NJPW at any moment.
