WWE Summerslam

Summerslam Predictions (2022)

Summerslam will return on July 30th LIVE in Nashville, TN. This years event has a stacked card, with multiple title shots up for grabs. These predictions are based on the matches announced at the time of writing.

Logan Paul vs. The Miz

Earlier this year we saw Logan Paul and The Miz team up at WrestleMania. Many accuse The Miz of attacking Logan Paul after their win because of jealousy, but I think it was because he finally say the YouTube Videos Paul is famous for. Personally I will be going with The Miz on this one, as he not only has more experience, but intelligence as well.

Pat McAfee vs. Happy Corbin

During their time with the Indianapolis Colts, McAfee and Corbin were actually roommates. Over time their friendship has disintegrated. Corbin has made it very clear he isn’t a fan of McAfee or his commentary style. We already know McAfee can take a beating, will he be able to outlast or outrun Happy Corbin? I think Corbin will be the winner of this match, unless someone interferes on McAfee’s behalf.

Riddle vs. Seth “Freakin” Rollins

Seth Rollins has been on a terrible losing streak. That will end at Summerslam when he smashes the moronic bro into the canvas. I am going with Rollins on this one.

United States Championship: Bobby Lashley (c) vs. Theory

This is one of those feuds that is starting to drag out. How many times is WWE going to rerun this matchup? I really hope this is the last time. Theory has his Money In The Bank Briefcase to cash in, and there are many other wrestlers who could step up to fight Lashley. I am predicting Lashley retains.

Smackdown Women’s Title: Liv Morgan (c) vs. Ronda Rousey

Liv Morgan has shown more heart as a wrestler than 90% of the roster. Over the past few years, she has really grown into her own, and has become a fierce competitor in her own right. She won the title at MITB after cashing in her briefcase, the same night she won it. She was able to catch Ronda off guard, after her all out brawl with Natalya. Will Liv be able to fight off the former MMA Champion when she isn’t fresh off a match? My money is on Liv Morgan retaining the title.

WWE Tag Team Titles: The Uso’s (c) vs. The Street Profits

The Street Profits have been so close to capturing the titles they can probably taste the leather. Whether it be due to ref error, or The Uso’s manipulating the situation, the WWE Universe has watched them be robbed of the titles again and again, and will probably see them get robbed for the titles at Summerslam as well. I think The Uso’s will retain, and continue to be the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions.

Last Man Standing Match: Roman Reigns (c) vs. Brock Lesnar

It is very telling how little WWE values its talent. Yet again we have Brock Lesnar being brought back from the farm, as if WWE has no other talent. Sadly instead of really working on building younger talent, they continue to focus on the 35 and up age bracket. If WWE wants to continue into the future they need to do more to keep younger viewers invested in the product. I am hoping Roman retains, and Brock heads back to the farm.

RAW Womens Championship: Bianca Belair (c) vs. Becky Lynch

Becky has gone off the rails. She is power hungry and will continue to chase the gold by any means necessary. Bianca has shown herself to be a strong champion, and so far has been able to outsmart and out wrestle her competitors. I feel that Becky has lost focus on her wrestling, in her obsession with regaining the title, so we will probably see Bianca Belair retain the title, unless there is some kind of outside interference.

These are the matches that have been announced so far! My thoughts are my own!

To watch Summerslam LIVE you can still find tickets on Ticketmaster, it will be streamed on the Peacock Network in the US, and on the WWE Network in international markets.

Two Potential Title Changes Projected via Vegas Odds on WWE TLC 2018

These odds are courtesy of 5Dimes, a sports book accepting customers worldwide.

Betting Odds are now available in the Global Market for This Sunday’s WWE TLC on the WWE Network. As usual, Ronda Rousey has the best projection of winning compared to anyone else on the card with odds of -750 to successfully retain the Raw Women’s Championship. Another heavily favored performer is Drew McIntyre with odds of -475 of defeating Finn Balor.

While Daniel Bryan is favored to successfully retain the WWE Championship against former champion AJ Styles, Dean Ambrose is a -160 favorite to attain victory against Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins, although a DQ or Count Out would still prevent that title from changing hands.

With multi-person matches, including Triple Threat Matches, all participants often have “underdog odds” due to the added competitor(s) decreasing the probability of all involved, although some are more favored than others. This is the case in two title matches on the PPV, with Asuka having the most favorable odds at +120 against Smackdown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair. Smackdown Tag Team Champions The Bar(Sheamus and Cesaro) have the best odds of all three teams at +110 defending against The New Day and The Usos.

In a TLC Match, Braun Strowman has convincing odds of -320 to overcome Baron Corbin, while Bobby Lashley is a -155 favorite to beat Elias. All matches are graded by “Final Decision”/”End of Broadcast” grading to account for a match being restarted via “Dusty Finish”. All with a minus signs are the favorites and plus signs are underdogs. These odds will change leading up to and even during to the event, may flip altogether and can be followed in real time.

WWE Raw Women’s Championship

Ronda Rousey(c) -750 vs Nia Jax +450

WWE Championship

Daniel Bryan(c) -245 vs AJ Styles +175

WWE Intercontinental Championship

Game Day Betting Guide for WWE Hell in a Cell 2018

These odds are courtesy of 5Dimes, a sports book accepting customers worldwide.

The current betting odds for WWE Hell in a Cell on the WWE Network haven’t moved much at all since initially being set weeks ago. We are looking at a situation where all defending champions are favored to retain successfully, and none more favored than Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey with astronomical odds by today’s standards of -1050. To put this in perspective, the next most favored are The New Day at -400, who are defending the Smackdown Tag Team Championships against Rusev Day on the pre-show.

Roman Reigns is favored at -380 in his first PPV title defense as Universal Championship against longtime nemesis Braun Strowman in a Hell in a Cell. WWE Champion AJ Styles has good odds of -300 to topple Samoa Joe once again. The Smackdown Brand’s Hell in a Cell offering sees Randy Orton favored at -365 in a “blood feud” blowoff match against Jeff Hardy.

Smackdown Women’s Champion Charlotte is favored at only -170 against Becky Lynch in a match not only for the title, but also to settle issues of mutual betrayal. Two married couples will compete in a mixed-tag match seeing the tandem of Daniel Bryan & Brie Bella favored at -300 against The Miz & Maryse.

One match is not offering “end of broadcast” odds as of press time so for now it’s initial odds only. We do not know if this is simply a sports book oversight or if there is some other explanation. This match is the Raw Tag Team Championship bout, where Dolph Ziggler & Drew McIntyre are slightly favored at -145 against Dean Ambrose & Seth Rollins. If this match does end up having a “Dusty Finish” of any kind, we should probably take that as an indication that some type of leak or inside betting has happened.

Universal Championship – Hell in a Cell(end of broadcast ruling)
Roman Reigns(c) -380 vs Braun Strowman +260

Raw Women’s Championship(end of broadcast ruling)

Ronda Rousey(c) -1050 vs Alexa Bliss +550

WWE Championship(end of broadcast ruling)
AJ Styles(c) -300 vs Samoa Joe +130

Smackdown Women’s Championship(end of broadcast ruling)

Charlotte Flair(c) -170 vs Becky Lynch +130

Raw Tag Team Championship(initial ruling, no odds for end of broadcast ruling)
Dolph Ziggler & Drew McIntyre(c) -145 vs Seth Rollins & Dean Ambrose +105

Hell in a Cell(end of broadcast ruling)
Jeff Hardy +255 vs Randy Orton -365

Mixed Tag Team Match(end of broadcast ruling)
Daniel Brian & Brie Bella -300 vs The Miz & Maryse +220

Smackdown Tag Team Championship(end of pre-show ruling)
The New Day(c) -400 vs Rusev & Aiden English +280

Final Betting Odds for WWE Elimination Chamber

The following odds are courtesy of 5Dimes, a sportsbook accepting players from across the globe and accepting Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Bitcoin.

No Smart Money Odds Means No Spoilers for WWE Elimination Chamber

WWE Elimination Chamber begins in a few hours on the WWE Network and it’s safe to say by looking at the current betting lines that the “smart money odds” have not happened yet. There have been organic line moves, but nothing indicating that finishes have leaked. We cannot consider these spoilers, but rather evidence of the predictable nature of WWE booking. We also can’t rule out anomalies to usual booking patterns leading to one or more sports book upsets tonight.

Roman Still Favored in Men’s Elimination Chamber

The Men’s Elimination Chamber is for a shot at Brock Lesnar for the WWE Universal Championship at Wrestlemania and Roman Reigns has been favored from the beginning to earn this opportunity. This is greatly fueled by the the assumption that Lesnar vs Reigns will main event Wrestlemania in April. Reigns was at -600 when the global odds were released and have risen only slightly to -650 since then. With Reigns considered a lock, these odds should be much higher at no less than -1000 by now, irregardless of there being no apparent leaks on this match outside of long standing Wrestlemania rumors.

It’s worth noting that at one point Roman’s odds dropped to -420 before stabilizing, so his odds didn’t necessarily move in just one direction. News of Reigns being implicated in a steroid ring has created seeds of doubt that he’s definitely winning this match. Bets against Reigns, as in anyone but Roman winning, are also available at +420. Since the initial odds have been posted, every other competitor has seen their odds drop from the original lines.

Braun Strowman, who had odds of +400 have dropped to +800, cutting his projected chances in half. Still, Strowman is the second most favored after Reigns to win the Chamber match. Seth Rollins, originally at +600 is now at +1100, even after a career highlight on Monday’s Raw Gauntlet match where he not only wrestled for over an hour(a Raw record), but scored victories over both Roman Reigns and John Cena in the process.

Speaking of Cena, while his odds have dropped from +2000 to +3500, his chances of winning have eclipsed that of Finn Balor who was at +1700 initially but is now at +4000. In addition, Elias going from +4300 to +8500 overtook The Miz’s chances, who was at +3500 but now is a dreadful +125000. The Miz being least likely to win tonight is no shock with the rumors of him defending the Intercontinental Championship at Wrestlemania.

History to be Made in the First Ever Women’s Elimination Chamber

The first ever Women’s Elimination Chamber is one of the few specialty matches that the ladies of the WWE have not gotten the opportunity to compete in until now. No major changes in this one and Alexa Bliss, who is defending her RAW Women’s Championship in the match, is still favored to win. Unlike Reigns, her odds actually dropped since the original projections of -280 to -240. As you can see these odds also aren’t as long as they are the Men’s Chamber.

There have been know changes in the “rankings” as far as what female has the best chance of winning, even though the odds have dropped for everyone involved. The next most favorable odds after Bliss are staying with Sasha Banks. Sasha’s opening odds off +190 to a number sure to make her cousin Snoop Dogg proud of at +420. Bayley is still in third place going from +575 to +1000, Sonya Deville in fourth from +600 to +1400 and Mickie James in fifth from +2500 to +10000. Finally, in last place is Mandy Rose and her odds dropped from +4500 to +25000.

Other Elimination Chamber Insights

Player that bet against the favorites in either Elimination Chamber match stand to see their money multiply in the case of an upset tonight. If the smart money does end up happening last minute, and recent trends suggest that they will not, these odds will drop further for the various underdogs.

The undefeated Asuka will be taking on Nia Jax with the stipulation being that Nia upon victory being added to the Raw Women’s Championship match at Wrestlemania, making it a Triple Threat. While the stipulation itself lends the possibility of Asuka finally being defeated, the odds for Asuka have increased from -750 to -900. Conversely, Jax’s odds have dropped slightly from +450 to +500.

The most competitive odds on the card still lie with “Woken” Matt Hardy vs Bray Wyatt. Matt Hardy is still favored however, with his opening odds of -215 increasing to -270. Wyatt, on the other hand, has seen his odds drop from +165 to +190. An upset in this one is the most likely according to the odds.

Odds have not yet been added for neither the Raw Tag Team Championship match with Cesaro and Sheamus defending against Apollo and Titus O’Neil or the pre-show kickoff match of Gallows and Anderson vs The Miztourage.

It’s time for my second favorite PPV of the year, second only to WrestleMania, its time for the Royal Rumble. This year is going to be special as it is the first ever WOMEN’S Rumble match as well as the traditional Men’s Rumble match.

There’s going to be a lot of the Rumble to watch this Sunday considering the 4-hour Rumble PPV itself and the 2-hour pre-show on the WWE Network.

So here is the rundown along with my picks for the winners. Let’s start off with the just announced pre-show matches.

The Revival v. The Balor Club (Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows): The Revival seem to be snakebitten since coming up to the Raw roster with one injury after another, and with the seemingly revived interest in the Good Brothers since joining up with Finn Balor. I see the former IWGP Tag Champs winning this one. WINNERS: Gallows and Anderson

Lince Dorado, Kalisto, and Gran Metalik vs TJP, Jack Gallagher, and Drew Gulak: With the loss of Enzo Amore, (thankfully) the 205 Live division is in need of new top heel. This match has two great options and TJP. If WWE cares at all about this division they’ll push Gallagher AND Drew Gulak to the top as monster heels like Enzo and Neville were. WINNERS: TJP, Jack Gallagher, and Drew Gulak

Bobby Roode will also issue an open challenge for his US Title. Personally, I think Dolph Ziggler will be the one to answer the challenge since he never lost the title in the first place. This is going to be the first shot in what I think will be a great feud culminating at WrestleMania. WINNER: Bobby Roode.

Now it’s on to the actual Rumble PPV itself. Since there are now TWO Rumble matches on this PPV, I personally think they are going to bookend the PPV with the Rumble matches so there’s a good chance that the Women’s Rumble is going to kick off the main show.

First Ever 30 Woman Royal Rumble: This is the match I am most looking forward to seeing out of this entire card and I’m not even going to try to lie about that. I’m looking forward to seeing who the surprise entries are, who the legends are that are coming back and who is returning (The Bellas, c’mon, we know this is coming) but in the end, I think the Empress of Tomorrow keeps her streak intact. WINNER: Asuka

Smackdown Tag Team Titles: The Usos v Chad Gable and Shelton Benjamin: With all the trouble that Jimmy Uso has recently gone through (DUI) I do think that the Usos will lose the titles here, but my only question about this 2 out of 3 falls match is will this match go all 3 falls? Will the Usos be punished by losing both falls? Also, keep Chad Gable off the mic. WINNERS: Gable and Benjamin

Raw Tag Team Titles: Seth Rollins and Jason Jordan v The Bar (Sheamus and Cesaro): I honestly don’t know who the crowds hate more. Roman or Jason Jordan. Having the titles on Jordan and Rollins just down look or feel right so not only do I think The Bar regain the titles but its result of Jordan costing the team and match and turning on Rollins. WINNERS: Sheamus and Cesaro

WWE World Heavyweight Title: AJ Styles v. Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn: I’m still confused about what exactly is going to happen if Owens or Zayn makes the pinfall. Who is the champion then? Both of them? The one who makes the pinfall is the champ? What happens? Fortunately, these questions will never have to be answered because AJ is going to win. WINNER: AJ Styles

WWE Universal Title: Brock Lesnar v. Braun Strowman v. Kane: One thing I hate in wrestling is predictability. We sadly know that Mania is going to be Lesnar v. Roman. So this match is just to put Lesnar and Braun over. I REALLY want Braun to win this match but I know it’s not going to happen. WINNER: Brock Lesnar

30 Man Royal Rumble match: I’m looking forward to this match as I do every year but I’m not as excited for this one as I am for the women’s Rumble match. Like all Rumble matches, I want to see the surprises and the returns. I like to expect the unexpected in these matches, you never know who is coming out next. If WWE wants Lesnar v Roman at Mania then they better give us AJ v. Shinsuke Nakamura at Mania as well. Also, if Roman or Cena win this match Philly will burn to the ground. WINNER: Shinsuke Nakamura

Here’s hoping that this is one of the better Rumbles that we’ve seen in recent memory. It’s looking like its going to be 2-minute entries instead of the usual 90 seconds, which honestly I’m not a fan of but this I can’t wait for otherwise.
Enjoy the Rumble ladies and gents, you can catch it LIVE on the WWE Network!

Royal Rumble Predictions for 2018

WORLDWIDE ODDS are now available through 5Dimes, accepting bettors from all over the globe. CLICK HERE to visit 5Dimes to place your bets or just follow the dramatically changing betting odds.

Hey everyone! I am super excited about this year’s Royal Rumble because we get to see the first ever Women’s Royal Rumble match! This is by far one of my favorite yearly events and has been since its inception. It is also the first event of the year, kicking off the Road To Wrestlemania as the winners of both Rumble matches get a shot at the Championship titles at Wrestlemania 34 in New Orleans!

First, let’s get the undercard matches out of the way, shall we?

SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos vs. Chad Gable & Shelton Benjamin (2-out-of-3-Falls Match) – Well due to the recent DUI Jey Uso received, it would not surprise me to see the Uso’s drop the belts to Gable and Benjamin. WWE seems to be taking things pretty seriously these days.

Raw Tag Team Champions Seth Rollins & Jason Jordan vs. Cesaro & Sheamus – Will we see two tag team title changes in one night? Perhaps. Will Seth Rollins do that controversial move again? We really hope not. This one is a tough call, but I am going to go with The Bar.

Universal Champion Brock Lesnar vs. Braun Strowman vs. Kane (Triple Threat Match) – Once again I will complain that I don’t think that Glen Jacobs is taking his political career very seriously, considering primaries are just a few months away. If Braun Strowman does not walk away with the belt, I RIOT.

WWE Champion AJ Styles vs. Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn — 2-on-1 Handicap Match for the WWE Title – This match will probably be hella entertaining, especially for the smart marks. I know that I am looking forward to seeing what these 3 put together. AJ will retain the title.
