How Did Sportsbooks Fare with the Betting Odds? Full WWE Fastlane Results

The odds makers for WWE Fastlane were able to accurately project 100% of the eventual winners. 8 out of 8 favorites proved the odds right including all defending champions. It is unknown if this “clean sweep” by the sportsbooks is the result of an internal leak within the WWE, however the odds never became suspiciously lopsided. Will be interesting to see if this accuracy continues through Wrestlemania. Read the full results below.

See Who is Favored by Sportsbooks to Win at Hell in a Cell 2018

These odds are courtesy of 5Dimes, a sports book accepting customers worldwide.

WWE Hell in a Cell 2018 will take place on Sunday, September 16 at the AT&T Center in San Antonio, TX. This can be watched live on the WWE Network

The betting odds for Hell in a Cell are already active globally as sports books are recognizing pro wrestling as a major draw to their operations. So far 5 matches announced have odds. Right now all champions with announced matches are favored to successfully retain. The Universal Champion, Roman Reigns has healthy odds of -210 to retain over Braun Strowman in one of two Hell in a Cell matches. The other Cell match sees Randy Orton favored at -180 to beat Jeff Hardy.

AJ Styles is favored at -160 to once again retain the WWE Championship in a rematch with Samoa Joe. It is Ronda Rousey with the most favorable odds of all at -650 to retain the Raw Women’s Championship against Alexa Bliss in a return match. Finally Daniel Bryan and Brie Bella are favored at -350 to topple The Miz and Maryse, which makes sense with Bryan losing one on one at Summerslam to The Miz.

All matches are graded with “end of broadcast rulings” to account for any match restarts of reversal of the original result. The final announced winners by the end of the broadcast will be the odds the sports book recognizes.

Wrestlemania Sunday Pregame Betting Odds Breakdown

These odds are courtesy of 5Dimes, a sports book accepting customers worldwide.

A very suspicious odds move has seen Roman Reigns’ favorable chances slashed from a runaway -1200 to a mere -400. With a Roman Reigns victory being considered a forgone conclusion, this creates a few pressing questions that must be addressed. Is the reason for this strange line move the result of an inside leak? Probably not, if this were the case we might be seeing Lesnar favored right now. Is this because gamblers are drawn to the name value of Brock Lesnar, especially with his UFC history? This is probably the more likely scenario and we will have a better idea of why exactly these odds moved when we get the result of this match. Worth mentioning is that this WWE Universal Championship match is still favored by -2000 to go on last as the main event.

Conversely, the odds actually widened a bit in the WWE Championship match. Shinsuke Nakamura has seen his odds increase from -415 to -620. Royal Rumble winner traditionally are very successful with their corresponding Wrestlemania matches, the attractiveness of this match is less about the result and more about the in ring quality. This could be match of the night.

Another challenger to a world championship that has seen their odds decrease would be Asuka, who is challenging for Charlotte Flair’s Smackdown Women’s Championship. Asuka’s former odds of -1050 have dropped to -825, which are still healthy odds for the “Empress of Tommorow”. European Markets are offering odds on a Carmella cash in at a favorable -150. This bet is on an official cash in of the Money in the Bank briefcase with no regard on if the cash in is a success.

As for the Raw Women’s Championship, the challenger’s odds of winning have decreased as well. Nia Jax’s odds of winning have moved from -390 to -350. With Alexa Bliss’ evasiveness, best displayed in the first ever Women’s Elimination Chamber, we could see an upset from “The Goddess”. It’s difficult to believe every title will change hands at this event and it might be valuable to see Bliss’ successful title reign continue beyond Wrestlemania.

Looking into the secondary championship matches, United States Champion Randy Orton is in a dead heat with one of his three challengers. Both Orton and Rusev currently have odds as +100, which is an even bet where you win as much as you wager. This is impressive as Rusev was moved into this match at the last minute to make a Fatal Fourway. The other challengers are Bobby Roode with odds of +765 and Jinder Mahal at +905.

The Interconitinental Championship still has Finn Balor favored slightly, however Seth Rollins has become a close underdog. This match is competitive with the exception of The Miz having dismal odds of +360 to retain in this Triple Threat match.

The Bludgeon Brothers remain slight favorites to win the Smackdown Tag Team Championships in a Triple Threat match between The Usos and The New Day. Braun Strowman and his partner are also still favored to defeat the Raw Tag Team Champions, Cesaro and Sheamus.

In the Tournament Finals for the vacant Cruiserweight Championship, Cedric Alexander’s favorable odds have increased from -295 to -460, a marginal line move. Alexander’s fellow finalist Mustafa Ali is a +320 underdog.

While the unannounced match of John Cena vs the Undertaker is only open in the European sports books, The Undertaker’s odds have dropped from -400 to -295, casting doubt for the outcome of this epic match.

Both the Raw and Smackdown brands have tag team matches centered around the authority figures of each brand. Raw is offering the in ring debut of Ronda Rousey, as she teams up with Raw GM Kurt Angle. Rousey & Angle have seen their odds increase to -825 against Raw Commissioner Stephanie McMahon and WWE COO Triple H.

Smackdown GM Daniel Bryan makes his long awaited in ring return, teaming with Smackdown Commissioner Shane McMahon against Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. The odds on this one are very close and haven’t moved significantly. Bryan and McMahon are favored slightly at -180.

The Wrestlemania Women’s Battle Royal has no clear favorite, however the best odds currently belong to Sasha Banks at +150. The Andre Memorial Battle Royal does have a definite favorite in Matt Hardy with odds of -210. At one point Elias had the best odds to win, and a returning Big Cass is a definite possibility based on his respectable odds.

Wrestlemania Odds are Now Live

Oddsmakers in Europe have created betting odds for the announced Wrestlemania matches, and even a few that haven’t yet been announced. According to these early projections, none of the current champions are favored.

Challenging for the Universal Championship, Roman Reigns is heavily favored at -770 to defeat Brock Lesnar. Reigns is the most favored out of anyone on the card right now. This match is still favored at -200 to main event, a huge drop from being favored at -1000 just last month.

After earning a title match at Wrestlemania by winning the Royal Rumble, Shinsuke Nakamura has chosen to challenge WWE Champion AJ Styles. Nakamura is favored -250 to best AJ. Unlike the Universal Championship match, this one isn’t so predictable.

Charlotte Flair is a +400 underdog to not be champion by the end of Wrestlemania. This particular wager is setup like this to account for the possibility of a MitB cash in from Carmella. While Asuka is favored at -295 to leave Wrestlemania with the title, Carmella has odds of -150 to do the same. So even if Asuka can win the title from Flair, a successful Carmella cash in would cause those betting on Asuka to lose that particular bet, even if Asuka wins the original match.

The United States Championship match has not yet been announced, however odds are being offered on who will walk out of Wrestlemania with that title. With a rumored triple threat match between current champion Randy Orton, former champion Bobby Roode and Jinder Mahal, those three names all have odds. Of these three Jinder is slightly favored at -118, while Orton has even odds of +100. Roode is the outsider in this with odds of +375.

Another match that is likely but not yet announced would be Alexa Bliss defending the Raw Women’s Championship against Nia Jax. As a -500 favorite, Jax is long overdue for a championship in WWE and this match has been slowly building for a while, often being put on the back burner.

The special attraction mixed tag team match not only has odds, but also some interesting prop bets. The team of Kurt Angle and Ronda Rousey are favored at -625 to defeat Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. The method of finish is favored to be by submission and Rousey is favored to be the one capturing the fall at -400. Furthermore, while the gender involved with the finish is favored at -400 to be female, the male participants are favored at -625 to start the match.

These are early odds and will move and shift dramatically. Some of these are close enough to flip altogether and all matches are subject to “end of broadcast ruling”, meaning the final announced outcome by the end of the broadcast.

Final Betting Odds for WWE Elimination Chamber

The following odds are courtesy of 5Dimes, a sportsbook accepting players from across the globe and accepting Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Bitcoin.

No Smart Money Odds Means No Spoilers for WWE Elimination Chamber

WWE Elimination Chamber begins in a few hours on the WWE Network and it’s safe to say by looking at the current betting lines that the “smart money odds” have not happened yet. There have been organic line moves, but nothing indicating that finishes have leaked. We cannot consider these spoilers, but rather evidence of the predictable nature of WWE booking. We also can’t rule out anomalies to usual booking patterns leading to one or more sports book upsets tonight.

Roman Still Favored in Men’s Elimination Chamber

The Men’s Elimination Chamber is for a shot at Brock Lesnar for the WWE Universal Championship at Wrestlemania and Roman Reigns has been favored from the beginning to earn this opportunity. This is greatly fueled by the the assumption that Lesnar vs Reigns will main event Wrestlemania in April. Reigns was at -600 when the global odds were released and have risen only slightly to -650 since then. With Reigns considered a lock, these odds should be much higher at no less than -1000 by now, irregardless of there being no apparent leaks on this match outside of long standing Wrestlemania rumors.

It’s worth noting that at one point Roman’s odds dropped to -420 before stabilizing, so his odds didn’t necessarily move in just one direction. News of Reigns being implicated in a steroid ring has created seeds of doubt that he’s definitely winning this match. Bets against Reigns, as in anyone but Roman winning, are also available at +420. Since the initial odds have been posted, every other competitor has seen their odds drop from the original lines.

Braun Strowman, who had odds of +400 have dropped to +800, cutting his projected chances in half. Still, Strowman is the second most favored after Reigns to win the Chamber match. Seth Rollins, originally at +600 is now at +1100, even after a career highlight on Monday’s Raw Gauntlet match where he not only wrestled for over an hour(a Raw record), but scored victories over both Roman Reigns and John Cena in the process.

Speaking of Cena, while his odds have dropped from +2000 to +3500, his chances of winning have eclipsed that of Finn Balor who was at +1700 initially but is now at +4000. In addition, Elias going from +4300 to +8500 overtook The Miz’s chances, who was at +3500 but now is a dreadful +125000. The Miz being least likely to win tonight is no shock with the rumors of him defending the Intercontinental Championship at Wrestlemania.

History to be Made in the First Ever Women’s Elimination Chamber

The first ever Women’s Elimination Chamber is one of the few specialty matches that the ladies of the WWE have not gotten the opportunity to compete in until now. No major changes in this one and Alexa Bliss, who is defending her RAW Women’s Championship in the match, is still favored to win. Unlike Reigns, her odds actually dropped since the original projections of -280 to -240. As you can see these odds also aren’t as long as they are the Men’s Chamber.

There have been know changes in the “rankings” as far as what female has the best chance of winning, even though the odds have dropped for everyone involved. The next most favorable odds after Bliss are staying with Sasha Banks. Sasha’s opening odds off +190 to a number sure to make her cousin Snoop Dogg proud of at +420. Bayley is still in third place going from +575 to +1000, Sonya Deville in fourth from +600 to +1400 and Mickie James in fifth from +2500 to +10000. Finally, in last place is Mandy Rose and her odds dropped from +4500 to +25000.

Other Elimination Chamber Insights

Player that bet against the favorites in either Elimination Chamber match stand to see their money multiply in the case of an upset tonight. If the smart money does end up happening last minute, and recent trends suggest that they will not, these odds will drop further for the various underdogs.

The undefeated Asuka will be taking on Nia Jax with the stipulation being that Nia upon victory being added to the Raw Women’s Championship match at Wrestlemania, making it a Triple Threat. While the stipulation itself lends the possibility of Asuka finally being defeated, the odds for Asuka have increased from -750 to -900. Conversely, Jax’s odds have dropped slightly from +450 to +500.

The most competitive odds on the card still lie with “Woken” Matt Hardy vs Bray Wyatt. Matt Hardy is still favored however, with his opening odds of -215 increasing to -270. Wyatt, on the other hand, has seen his odds drop from +165 to +190. An upset in this one is the most likely according to the odds.

Odds have not yet been added for neither the Raw Tag Team Championship match with Cesaro and Sheamus defending against Apollo and Titus O’Neil or the pre-show kickoff match of Gallows and Anderson vs The Miztourage.

New Elimination Chamber Matches Betting Odds

The following odds are courtesy of 5Dimes, a sportsbook accepting players from across the globe and accepting Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Bitcoin.

Sports Books are now offering betting odds on two additional matches on Sunday’s Elimination Chamber. Not much has changed as far as projected winners of the Men’s and Women’s chamber matches with Roman Reigns and Alexa Bliss still favored to win their respective matches.

Asuka is so heavily favored against Nia Jax, she has the most favorable odds of the entire event at. It would be grossly wasteful to sacrifice Asuka’s long undefeated streak that has been built for over two years. Especially considering Asuka has earned a championship opportunity at Wrestlemania less than two months away. A Nia Jax upset would be unfathomable, so expect these odds to widen leading into the event. The global market have now opened up to wagering so this could be happening right now.

In what are relatively close odds, “Woken” Matt Hardy is slightly favored to defeat Bray Wyatt. Both men are unpredictable, as is the outcome of this match. An insider leak from within the WWE could move these lines.

Elimination Chamber Early Betting Odds (2018)

These betting odds are courtesy of Grosvenor Casinos, a sports book and casino operating in London serving players from the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland.

Odds are also available through 5Dimes, a sports book accepting players from all over the world.

Both the Men’s and Women’s Elimination Chamber matches now have betting odds available at Grosvenor Casinos operating in London. On the line in the Men’s Chamber is a title shot for the Universal Championship against Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania. Since Roman Reigns has been rumored all along to be facing Lesnar in the main event, it is not at all shocking that Roman is soundly favored at -670.

The only other choice that stands a chance according to these odds is Braun Strowman, who has odds of +200. Brock vs Braun in a rematch from last year’s No Mercy is a match is an outside possibility and many fans would prefer Lesnar “catching these hands” again to another Roman push. If there is going to be a last minute change to the Wrestlemania booking, Strowman challenging for Raw’s top prize would be the most conceivable option.

While Elias’ odds are a dismal +2500, he has a major opportunity to deliver a career elevating performance in this match considering the star power he will be competing with. The former Drifter would be wise to make the most of this valuable opportunity.

The Raw Women’s Championship will be defended by Alexa Bliss in the first ever Women’s Chamber and she is of course favored at -295 to successfully retain. Sasha Banks has the next best odds at +150 and could dethrone Bliss. These odds aren’t nearly as wide as the Men’s Chamber as the trend of the women’s division being less predictable continues.

Smackdown Live Results 1/24

Somehow I found myself watching Smackdown Live tonight. Honestly I could not tell you the last time I watched Smackdown, but here goes…

We open with The Miz complaining to Daniel Brian about not having a private locker room…. talk about privilege. Maryse looks nice though, I always dig her outfits. She may very well be the best dressed woman in wrestling, ever.
Daniel Brian tells him he gets his shot at Dean Ambrose tonight, Miz asks for a no DQ match, but DB has a much better idea, a LUMBERJACK MATCH! I like this very much.

Backstage with Randy Orton, he;s asked whats up with him and The Wyatt Family, He says “If you can’t beat them join them”. Weird.

Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper and Randy Orton make their way to the ring. I don’t get Bray Wyatt, I’ve seen him wrestle plenty, his gimmick is lame and so are his terrible fake dreadlocks. Where is Beefcake when we need him? So Randy Orton is going to fight Luke Harper, apparently this has been brewing for months. Wyatt is at ringside in a rocking chair. They lock up and struggle with each other for control. They do this back and forth, Harper takes a shoulder tackle and powders from the ring. Orton follows, and gets cracked in the ribs by Harper… Harper tosses him back in the ring, and takes control but Orton quickly cuts him off.
Harper get tossed over the top, when he gets back in Orton gives him the DDT. Harper rolls from the ring yet again. Orton chases out of him, gives him  nice backdrop on the barricades, then again on the Spanish announce table, but Harper jumps up and kicks Orton in the face and falls back down. Wyatt gets out of his rocking chair and makes his way over the the action. He picks up Orton and rolls him back into the ring. The count is almost over, but Wyatt throws Harper into the ring as well, just in time.  Oh a mid match commercial break… my least favorite thing! (Hey I am actually liking this match ok?)
We return from break and Harper has Orton in a chokehold in the middle of the ring. Orton works out of it, to only get body slammed. Harper attempts to go to the top, Orton follows him, and gives Harper the superplex off the 2nd rope. Cover by Orton but Harper gets out at the 2 count. More back and forth until Orton powerslams Harper, but again he escapes the pin. Harper gets a michnoku driver on Orton, but Orton kicks out. Orton tried RKO but gets cut off, Harper again almost pins Orton. Harper sets up Orton for some finisher but Orton gets out and gives him the RKO for the 3 count. Wyatt sits and rocks in the chair. Wyatt gets in the ring, helps Harper up. then knocks him out. Poor Luke Harper.

We come back from commercial Renee welcomes Mickie James to the ring. Renee asks Mickie a question, but Mickie starts by talking about her winning the Championship from Trish Stratus, and she is a 5 time champion. Mickie talks about how her accomplishments came way before these women today. That her accomplishments were being buried, but Alexa Bliss was the one person to fight the “Women’s Revolution”. Mickie goes on to talk about how Alexa was the only one to know who she was, and if it wasn’t for her she wouldn’t be standing in the ring right now.  Forget about the revolution this is about Mickie James.  Becky Lynch runs out from the locker room and attacks her but Alexa Bliss runs in from the crowd and attacks Lynch as she chases James.  They then bring Lynch to the ring to further abuse Lynch. Poor Becky. Mickie James grabs the mic again to say something about always being one step ahead.

Returning from the break we are in a store with James Ellsworth and Carmella, shes going to try to get him some clothes… Ellsworth is excited to pick out clothes himself. He comes out wearing acid wash jeans, then a weird sweater, then a lumber jack, then the jeans an a women;s shirt.. sigh. Then Ellsworth Presley, then a pimp, then a red turtleneck. This is ridiculous. Carmella tells him no to all his choices.. She then dresses him like Rob Dyrdek in Gold Lame. eww.

After yet another break we are back, 10 man over the top challenge to get an entry into the match. Don’t expect me to know what is going on here…. The Vaudvillians are out first. then Curt Hawkins, then then, some Victor of Ascension,  then Heath Slater, then Rhyno and Connor. Poor Rhyno. Fandango eliminated by his partner, and Mojo Rawley eliminated Tyler Breeze for the win. Except for Rhyno, and Heath Slater, I have no idea who any of these people are.

Cut to earlier today, an interview with Nikki Bella out by the staging trucks, she gets attacked by Natalya. Yay Nattie kick her ass.

AJ Styles comes to the ring to cut a promo about the Rumble, then John Cena comes to the ring, but AJ refuses to let him speak, then shows a clip from the Today show where John Cena is comparing the match to the super bowl, as its Patriots vs Falcons… A guy from Boston vs A guy from Atlanta. AJ Styles is way madder than I ever remember him. I like him much better this way. He tells Cena no one missed him, crowd starts chanting Cena… Styles said he just didn;t take his space, he replaced him. Ouch. Ok this promo is way too long I don’t care anymore, Cena gets the mic, no idea what he is saying as I am fast forwarding through this… No… Just no. Why can’t we just fight people????

Back from break, Kalisto vs Dolph Ziggler.  Ziggler takes over early in the match but Kalisto cuts him off with his fast paced lucha moves sadly it doesn’t save him from a quick finish. Was that even a 3 count ref? Ziggler talking shit to JBL when Apollo Crews comes out and nails him with a chair. Ha!

The announce team say Natalya is fighting next, but honestly they are some nervy assholes alluding to her state of mental health. Mental health isn’t a joke. I hope Nattie fucks the announcers up more than Nikki Bella at this point.

Back from yet another break, Naomi dances her way to the ring, Natties music hits but instead they cut to Nikki Bella attacking Natalya backstage. Naomi says its not going down like that, shes not leaving until someone steps up to fight her. Alexa Bliss’s music hits, She says shes not out here to answer a challenge from nobody, makes fun of Naomi for not being on tv for 3 months, and asks her who she thinks she is. Naomi, says come down here, she will show her exactly who she is, and that she will be the new champion. Alexa gets on the apron then jumps back down and says Naomi isn’t worth her time. Booo. I hope when Naomi gets her hands on her she kicks her ass.

Time for The Miz vs Dean Ambrose (ICC) for the Intercontinental Championship. Its a lumberjack match so all the other guys on the roster are at ringside, to basically fuck em up,  or throw them back in, either way. The match starts with Ambrose taking lead but it switches up quick. The Miz keeps trying to throw Ambrose to the lumberjacks so he doesn’t have to do the work. Ambrose fights him back, and clotheslines him over the top rope, and the lumberjacks jump him hard, they hate the Miz… and another mid match commercial. WTF. We come back and Miz and Ambrose are on the second rope, nothing good comes of it, and Ambrose ends up getting pulled out of the ring y the lumberjacks, but manages a quick roll up when he gets back int he ring. Ambrose is back outside, thrown back in after a short beating. Miz gets a 2 count. Ambrose is taking a beating, but we seen him come back from worse. Ambrose gets another roll up 2 count on the Miz, Ambrose ends up back outside again, and gives Miz the Lunatic Fringe Elbow from the top, but Miz kicks out. When they both get up Ambrose is fired up he throws the Miz out, and then jumps on him and the limberjacks. Maryse grabs the leg of Ambrose as he tries to get on the ring, and miz gets another 2 count on him. Both men ae down, Ambrose is beat up, takes a couple of big drop kicks from Miz, then dodges the third, Miz to the outside, getting beat by lumberjacks, but Ambrose goes for the elbow on the pile and takes everyone out. Ambrose grabs the Miz, throw him back in the ring, quick in roll up back and forth,  then when Ambrose is about to pin the Miz, the lumberjacks take over the ring beat Ambrose, after the ring is cleared mix tries a quick pin, but it doesn’t work, Ambrose reverses, gives him a finisher, and retains the belt.

Overall it wasn’t bad, just too many commercial breaks. Remember this weekend you can catch the Royal Rumble on the WWE Network!
