No Smart Money Odds Means No Spoilers for WWE Elimination Chamber

WWE Elimination Chamber begins in a few hours on the WWE Network and it’s safe to say by looking at the current betting lines that the “smart money odds” have not happened yet. There have been organic line moves, but nothing indicating that finishes have leaked. We cannot consider these spoilers, but rather evidence of the predictable nature of WWE booking. We also can’t rule out anomalies to usual booking patterns leading to one or more sports book upsets tonight.

Roman Still Favored in Men’s Elimination Chamber

The Men’s Elimination Chamber is for a shot at Brock Lesnar for the WWE Universal Championship at Wrestlemania and Roman Reigns has been favored from the beginning to earn this opportunity. This is greatly fueled by the the assumption that Lesnar vs Reigns will main event Wrestlemania in April. Reigns was at -600 when the global odds were released and have risen only slightly to -650 since then. With Reigns considered a lock, these odds should be much higher at no less than -1000 by now, irregardless of there being no apparent leaks on this match outside of long standing Wrestlemania rumors.

It’s worth noting that at one point Roman’s odds dropped to -420 before stabilizing, so his odds didn’t necessarily move in just one direction. News of Reigns being implicated in a steroid ring has created seeds of doubt that he’s definitely winning this match. Bets against Reigns, as in anyone but Roman winning, are also available at +420. Since the initial odds have been posted, every other competitor has seen their odds drop from the original lines.

Braun Strowman, who had odds of +400 have dropped to +800, cutting his projected chances in half. Still, Strowman is the second most favored after Reigns to win the Chamber match. Seth Rollins, originally at +600 is now at +1100, even after a career highlight on Monday’s Raw Gauntlet match where he not only wrestled for over an hour(a Raw record), but scored victories over both Roman Reigns and John Cena in the process.

Speaking of Cena, while his odds have dropped from +2000 to +3500, his chances of winning have eclipsed that of Finn Balor who was at +1700 initially but is now at +4000. In addition, Elias going from +4300 to +8500 overtook The Miz’s chances, who was at +3500 but now is a dreadful +125000. The Miz being least likely to win tonight is no shock with the rumors of him defending the Intercontinental Championship at Wrestlemania.

History to be Made in the First Ever Women’s Elimination Chamber

The first ever Women’s Elimination Chamber is one of the few specialty matches that the ladies of the WWE have not gotten the opportunity to compete in until now. No major changes in this one and Alexa Bliss, who is defending her RAW Women’s Championship in the match, is still favored to win. Unlike Reigns, her odds actually dropped since the original projections of -280 to -240. As you can see these odds also aren’t as long as they are the Men’s Chamber.

There have been know changes in the “rankings” as far as what female has the best chance of winning, even though the odds have dropped for everyone involved. The next most favorable odds after Bliss are staying with Sasha Banks. Sasha’s opening odds off +190 to a number sure to make her cousin Snoop Dogg proud of at +420. Bayley is still in third place going from +575 to +1000, Sonya Deville in fourth from +600 to +1400 and Mickie James in fifth from +2500 to +10000. Finally, in last place is Mandy Rose and her odds dropped from +4500 to +25000.

Other Elimination Chamber Insights

Player that bet against the favorites in either Elimination Chamber match stand to see their money multiply in the case of an upset tonight. If the smart money does end up happening last minute, and recent trends suggest that they will not, these odds will drop further for the various underdogs.

The undefeated Asuka will be taking on Nia Jax with the stipulation being that Nia upon victory being added to the Raw Women’s Championship match at Wrestlemania, making it a Triple Threat. While the stipulation itself lends the possibility of Asuka finally being defeated, the odds for Asuka have increased from -750 to -900. Conversely, Jax’s odds have dropped slightly from +450 to +500.

The most competitive odds on the card still lie with “Woken” Matt Hardy vs Bray Wyatt. Matt Hardy is still favored however, with his opening odds of -215 increasing to -270. Wyatt, on the other hand, has seen his odds drop from +165 to +190. An upset in this one is the most likely according to the odds.

Odds have not yet been added for neither the Raw Tag Team Championship match with Cesaro and Sheamus defending against Apollo and Titus O’Neil or the pre-show kickoff match of Gallows and Anderson vs The Miztourage.

New Elimination Chamber Matches Betting Odds

The following odds are courtesy of 5Dimes, a sportsbook accepting players from across the globe and accepting Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Bitcoin.

Sports Books are now offering betting odds on two additional matches on Sunday’s Elimination Chamber. Not much has changed as far as projected winners of the Men’s and Women’s chamber matches with Roman Reigns and Alexa Bliss still favored to win their respective matches.

Asuka is so heavily favored against Nia Jax, she has the most favorable odds of the entire event at. It would be grossly wasteful to sacrifice Asuka’s long undefeated streak that has been built for over two years. Especially considering Asuka has earned a championship opportunity at Wrestlemania less than two months away. A Nia Jax upset would be unfathomable, so expect these odds to widen leading into the event. The global market have now opened up to wagering so this could be happening right now.

In what are relatively close odds, “Woken” Matt Hardy is slightly favored to defeat Bray Wyatt. Both men are unpredictable, as is the outcome of this match. An insider leak from within the WWE could move these lines.

Elimination Chamber Early Betting Odds (2018)

These betting odds are courtesy of Grosvenor Casinos, a sports book and casino operating in London serving players from the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland.

Odds are also available through 5Dimes, a sports book accepting players from all over the world.

Both the Men’s and Women’s Elimination Chamber matches now have betting odds available at Grosvenor Casinos operating in London. On the line in the Men’s Chamber is a title shot for the Universal Championship against Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania. Since Roman Reigns has been rumored all along to be facing Lesnar in the main event, it is not at all shocking that Roman is soundly favored at -670.

The only other choice that stands a chance according to these odds is Braun Strowman, who has odds of +200. Brock vs Braun in a rematch from last year’s No Mercy is a match is an outside possibility and many fans would prefer Lesnar “catching these hands” again to another Roman push. If there is going to be a last minute change to the Wrestlemania booking, Strowman challenging for Raw’s top prize would be the most conceivable option.

While Elias’ odds are a dismal +2500, he has a major opportunity to deliver a career elevating performance in this match considering the star power he will be competing with. The former Drifter would be wise to make the most of this valuable opportunity.

The Raw Women’s Championship will be defended by Alexa Bliss in the first ever Women’s Chamber and she is of course favored at -295 to successfully retain. Sasha Banks has the next best odds at +150 and could dethrone Bliss. These odds aren’t nearly as wide as the Men’s Chamber as the trend of the women’s division being less predictable continues.

Men’s Elimination Chamber

Roman Reigns -670

Braun Strowman +200

Seth Rollins +600

Finn Balor +1500

John Cena +1500

No Mercy 2017 Predictions

WWE No Mercy is this Sunday in Los Angeles, CA at the Staples Center! Tickets are available on StubHub and Ticket Liquidator right now, some prices are lower than Ticketmaster!

Intercontinental Champion The Miz vs. Jason Jordan – Jason Jordan has shown some serious promise… must be in his genetics… hahaha You know when they announced he was “Kurt Angles son, I actually did the research to see if that could even make sense. It can. Jordan should be able to beat The Miz fair and Square, but this is The Miz we are talking about. The Miz will retain his title.

Finn Bálor vs. Bray Wyatt – Will the Demon Bálor come out to play for No Mercy? We can only hope! I got my money on Bálor.

Raw Tag Team Champions Seth Rollins & Dean Ambrose vs Cesaro & Sheamus – Cesaro and Sheamus really, really want their titles back. Ambrose and Rollins aren’t going to be that easy to beat. I have Rollins and Ambrose retaining.

WWE Cruiserweight Champion Neville vs. Enzo Amore – Neville is amazing. Enzo is… hilarious. Is Neville going to be able to outsmart Enzo’s hijinks? I think Enzo may walk away with the Cruiserweight Championship.

Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss vs Sasha Banks vs. Bayley vs. Nia Jax vs. Emma (Fatal 5-Way Match) NIA JAX!!!!!! Nuff said.

John Cena vs. Roman Reigns- RAW called this a “Dream Match” um WUT? I can hear the boo’s already… for both of them. Does anyone actually care about this match? I hear more people talking about Nikki Bella on Dancing with the Stars, than John Cena’s wrestling career these days. I’m sticking with Roman Reigns on this one.

Universal Champion Brock Lesnar vs. Braun Strowman – IF BRAUN STROWMAN LOSES I RIOT!!!!

Major Upsets at WWE Summerslam Means the Leaks Have Finally Been Sealed! No More Spoilers.

The smart money odds never came in for this year’s Summerslam and it appears WWE has finally sealed the leaks that have been effecting the betting odds for years. Time will tell if this is a permanent policy to keep the outcomes under wraps. As a result there were 5 upsets out of 13 matches.

While Shinsuke Nakamura had been heavily favored to defeat Jinder Mahal in the WWE Championship match, those odds flipped hours before the match slightly in Mahal’s favor. Jinder ended up winning. Not exactly an upset by the final odds, however Nakamura was at -1500 at one point, so earlier bets on Mahal paid off nicely. The Smackdown Women’s Championship also flipped before the event in Natalya’s favor, as well and held up with Natty beating Naomi for the title.

John Cena was a slight underdog against Baron Corbin, however was able to win and this can be considered an upset.

Sasha Banks was able to win the WWE Raw Championship from Alexa Bliss as a slight underdog, however Banks had been favored throughout most of the week the before the odds flipped in Bliss’ favor.

Rusev was surprisingly favored to win from early on, and was able to hold on to the favorability up until the bell rang. Randy Orton pulled off the victory anyway, yet another upset.

The Usos, a +400 underdog, managed to successfully regain the Smackdown Tag Team Championships against the New Day at -600. Even in the first preshow match the odds did not hold up. The Miz and The Miztourage upset The Hardy Boyz and Jason Jordan.

If this trend continues, the landscape of the betting odds has effectively been changes and smart money leading to spoilers could be history.

Summerslam Predictions

Major Shifts in WWE Summerslam Betting Odds

The following odds are sourced from 5Dimes, which offers betting to players worldwide. Click here to visit Five Dimes.

There have been many changes to the Summerslam on the WWE Network betting odds the night before the event and are now available to the worldwide market, which always bring the most dramatic changes. The Universal Championship match hasn’t seen any major changes. Brock Lesnar is still favored to retain, Samoa Joe is the most likely challenger to dethrone the Champion, however Braun Strowman has overtaken Roman Reigns in probability of winning.

Shinsuke Nakamura is now a heavy favorite to defeat Jinder Mahal, however this does not mean he walks away with the WWE Championship due to the possibility of a count out or DQ loss where the title wouldn’t change hands.

The Raw Women’s Championship, originally close to an even bet has went in the favor of Alexa Bliss retaining over Sasha Banks. Naomi is now heavily favored to retain against Natalya in the Smackdown Women’s Championship, so the lines have moved even more of her favor. This is possibly fueled by rumors of the WWE marketing the champion’s glowing championship through WWE Shop in the future, so the title would need to remain with Naomi to make that possible.

Another match that was very close has seen major moves is the Crusierweight Championship match with newly crowned champion Akira Tozawa favored to retain against the man he beat for the title, Neville. Both the Raw and Smackdown Tag Team Titles have the challengers favored to win, however there is one major distinction here. While The Usos have become less favored to lose to The New Day, Cesaro and Sheamus have seen their odds shortened. The Raw Tag Champs are still underdogs, but the challengers of Dean Amborse and Seth Rollins are less favored to win than they were originally.

Big Cass was at -700 to defeat the Big Show and while the projected outcome is the same, they have been shortened to only -180. Something is definitely going on with this match. Randy Orton is now even more of an underdog against Rusev, which is puzzling but makes for an interesting match in terms of who will actually win.

John Cena was at one point favored to beat Baron Corbin, but this shifted completely. It is very close however. The odds below are easy to read with the guidance of knowing that the minus sign represents the underdog, while the plus sign does the same for the favorite. The number after the plus or minus indicated how favored or unfavored the competitor(s) is/are.

Great Balls of Fire Predictions!

Its time for another round of PPV predictions! This time it’s for WWE’s Great Balls of Fire, which is going down in Dallas, TX at the American Airlines Center on July 9th… which also happens to be my birthday. Whether or not I will watch the PPV and cover it live is up in the air as of now, as I may just watch it later on the [clink id=”2″ target=”_blank”]WWE Network[/clink], but non the less, here are my predictions!

Universal Champion Brock Lesnar vs. Samoa Joe: I don’t care. Honestly this could be a death match and they could both be eaten alive by Braun Strowman, and I still would barely blink an eye. These are two of the most boring WWE personalities as of right now… Lesnar will hold onto the belt till SummerSlam at the very least.

Roman Reigns vs. Braun Strowman (Ambulance Match): While I like watching these two fight, the ambulance match stipulation is fucking stupid. It not a fun gimmicky match, its a predictable one. Now its hard for me to say who will win for sure, as you know WWE is trying to push Reigns, and folks are confused as to what his “tweener” status is… Is he a face, is he a heel? Who the fuck are we rooting for in this match? I think Reigns is capable of a lot more, but frankly the writing sucks, and creative has no idea how to use him. Strowman is a monster, I dig it. He’s scary, he has destroyed half the RAW roster, we totally get it… But to me this match and the Lesner/Joe match are both two similar dudes fighting each other. I’d have rather seen all these guys in a 4 way match, with the stipulation that kicks in the nuts are legal. Then maybe some bals would be on fire!

Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss vs. Sasha Banks: I hate Alexa Bliss, Not because of her character, but because she takes to social media to demean people who have done a lot more than she has in the business, and who if ever got the opportunity would kick the shit out of her. Shes a shitty person, so I hope Sasha Banks hands her her ass, and takes the belt away… Banks all the way,

Seth Rollins vs. Bray Wyatt: Meh… I feel like the writers on RAW just don’t give a fuck anymore. As much as I like Seth Rollins, I just don’t feel any excitement about this match. I am going with Rollins on this one.

WWE Cruiserweight Champion Neville vs. Akira Tozawa: Probably the most exciting match on the card, this should be the main event. Tozawa is on fire, and it would be nice to see a title change, not that I think Neville is a bad champ, actually I think he is great. I just think its time to see Tozawa shine.
