Game Day Betting Guide for WWE Hell in a Cell 2018

These odds are courtesy of 5Dimes, a sports book accepting customers worldwide.

The current betting odds for WWE Hell in a Cell on the WWE Network haven’t moved much at all since initially being set weeks ago. We are looking at a situation where all defending champions are favored to retain successfully, and none more favored than Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey with astronomical odds by today’s standards of -1050. To put this in perspective, the next most favored are The New Day at -400, who are defending the Smackdown Tag Team Championships against Rusev Day on the pre-show.

Roman Reigns is favored at -380 in his first PPV title defense as Universal Championship against longtime nemesis Braun Strowman in a Hell in a Cell. WWE Champion AJ Styles has good odds of -300 to topple Samoa Joe once again. The Smackdown Brand’s Hell in a Cell offering sees Randy Orton favored at -365 in a “blood feud” blowoff match against Jeff Hardy.

Smackdown Women’s Champion Charlotte is favored at only -170 against Becky Lynch in a match not only for the title, but also to settle issues of mutual betrayal. Two married couples will compete in a mixed-tag match seeing the tandem of Daniel Bryan & Brie Bella favored at -300 against The Miz & Maryse.

One match is not offering “end of broadcast” odds as of press time so for now it’s initial odds only. We do not know if this is simply a sports book oversight or if there is some other explanation. This match is the Raw Tag Team Championship bout, where Dolph Ziggler & Drew McIntyre are slightly favored at -145 against Dean Ambrose & Seth Rollins. If this match does end up having a “Dusty Finish” of any kind, we should probably take that as an indication that some type of leak or inside betting has happened.

Universal Championship – Hell in a Cell(end of broadcast ruling)
Roman Reigns(c) -380 vs Braun Strowman +260

Raw Women’s Championship(end of broadcast ruling)

Ronda Rousey(c) -1050 vs Alexa Bliss +550

These odds are courtesy of 5Dimes, a sports book accepting customers worldwide.

WWE Hell in a Cell 2018 will take place on Sunday, September 16 at the AT&T Center in San Antonio, TX. This can be watched live on the WWE Network

The betting odds for Hell in a Cell are already active globally as sports books are recognizing pro wrestling as a major draw to their operations. So far 5 matches announced have odds. Right now all champions with announced matches are favored to successfully retain. The Universal Champion, Roman Reigns has healthy odds of -210 to retain over Braun Strowman in one of two Hell in a Cell matches. The other Cell match sees Randy Orton favored at -180 to beat Jeff Hardy.

AJ Styles is favored at -160 to once again retain the WWE Championship in a rematch with Samoa Joe. It is Ronda Rousey with the most favorable odds of all at -650 to retain the Raw Women’s Championship against Alexa Bliss in a return match. Finally Daniel Bryan and Brie Bella are favored at -350 to topple The Miz and Maryse, which makes sense with Bryan losing one on one at Summerslam to The Miz.

All matches are graded with “end of broadcast rulings” to account for any match restarts of reversal of the original result. The final announced winners by the end of the broadcast will be the odds the sports book recognizes.

Wrestlemania Sunday Pregame Betting Odds Breakdown

These odds are courtesy of 5Dimes, a sports book accepting customers worldwide.

A very suspicious odds move has seen Roman Reigns’ favorable chances slashed from a runaway -1200 to a mere -400. With a Roman Reigns victory being considered a forgone conclusion, this creates a few pressing questions that must be addressed. Is the reason for this strange line move the result of an inside leak? Probably not, if this were the case we might be seeing Lesnar favored right now. Is this because gamblers are drawn to the name value of Brock Lesnar, especially with his UFC history? This is probably the more likely scenario and we will have a better idea of why exactly these odds moved when we get the result of this match. Worth mentioning is that this WWE Universal Championship match is still favored by -2000 to go on last as the main event.

Conversely, the odds actually widened a bit in the WWE Championship match. Shinsuke Nakamura has seen his odds increase from -415 to -620. Royal Rumble winner traditionally are very successful with their corresponding Wrestlemania matches, the attractiveness of this match is less about the result and more about the in ring quality. This could be match of the night.

Another challenger to a world championship that has seen their odds decrease would be Asuka, who is challenging for Charlotte Flair’s Smackdown Women’s Championship. Asuka’s former odds of -1050 have dropped to -825, which are still healthy odds for the “Empress of Tommorow”. European Markets are offering odds on a Carmella cash in at a favorable -150. This bet is on an official cash in of the Money in the Bank briefcase with no regard on if the cash in is a success.

As for the Raw Women’s Championship, the challenger’s odds of winning have decreased as well. Nia Jax’s odds of winning have moved from -390 to -350. With Alexa Bliss’ evasiveness, best displayed in the first ever Women’s Elimination Chamber, we could see an upset from “The Goddess”. It’s difficult to believe every title will change hands at this event and it might be valuable to see Bliss’ successful title reign continue beyond Wrestlemania.

Looking into the secondary championship matches, United States Champion Randy Orton is in a dead heat with one of his three challengers. Both Orton and Rusev currently have odds as +100, which is an even bet where you win as much as you wager. This is impressive as Rusev was moved into this match at the last minute to make a Fatal Fourway. The other challengers are Bobby Roode with odds of +765 and Jinder Mahal at +905.

The Interconitinental Championship still has Finn Balor favored slightly, however Seth Rollins has become a close underdog. This match is competitive with the exception of The Miz having dismal odds of +360 to retain in this Triple Threat match.

The Bludgeon Brothers remain slight favorites to win the Smackdown Tag Team Championships in a Triple Threat match between The Usos and The New Day. Braun Strowman and his partner are also still favored to defeat the Raw Tag Team Champions, Cesaro and Sheamus.

In the Tournament Finals for the vacant Cruiserweight Championship, Cedric Alexander’s favorable odds have increased from -295 to -460, a marginal line move. Alexander’s fellow finalist Mustafa Ali is a +320 underdog.

While the unannounced match of John Cena vs the Undertaker is only open in the European sports books, The Undertaker’s odds have dropped from -400 to -295, casting doubt for the outcome of this epic match.

Both the Raw and Smackdown brands have tag team matches centered around the authority figures of each brand. Raw is offering the in ring debut of Ronda Rousey, as she teams up with Raw GM Kurt Angle. Rousey & Angle have seen their odds increase to -825 against Raw Commissioner Stephanie McMahon and WWE COO Triple H.

Smackdown GM Daniel Bryan makes his long awaited in ring return, teaming with Smackdown Commissioner Shane McMahon against Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. The odds on this one are very close and haven’t moved significantly. Bryan and McMahon are favored slightly at -180.

The Wrestlemania Women’s Battle Royal has no clear favorite, however the best odds currently belong to Sasha Banks at +150. The Andre Memorial Battle Royal does have a definite favorite in Matt Hardy with odds of -210. At one point Elias had the best odds to win, and a returning Big Cass is a definite possibility based on his respectable odds.

The following odds are sourced from Paddy Power, an Irish Sports Book serving Ireland, The UK and other nations. The Paddy Power website is subject to geo-blocking and may not be available from in all regions.

WWE Fastlane is this Sunday on the WWE Network and is the last PPV before Wrestlemania next month. The early betting odds have been set and in the main event AJ Styles is expected to retain the WWE Championship with heavy odds of -800. These odds are especially convincing, given that Styles is defending against five different opponents in a Six Pack Challenge. With AJ expected to have a long awaited dream match with Shinsuke Nakamura, his former rival in New Japan, this projection will most likely stand.

No one else in this match seems to have much of a chance. John Cena has the next best odds after AJ and even then is a long shot as a +750 underdog. Everyone else in the match has even less favorable odds with the least favorable being Dolph Ziggler at +1200.

The only Fastlane participant with better odds than AJ is the Smackdown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair at -1000. Charlotte is defending against Ruby Riott, the leader of the Riott Squad and she has odds of +500.

For the United States Championship, Bobby Roode and challenger Randy Orton are currently in a dead heat, both having odds of -120 making this the least predictable match of the entire event. This one could go either way.

The Smackdown Tag Team Championship very close with The Usos slightly favored at -175 to successfully retain. The New Days are the challengers and only marginal underdogs at +125.

In a singles match, the man who will fact the WWE Champion at Wrestlemania is favored at -800 to defeat Rusev, who is at +450. This is a virtual lock and presumably serving as a showcase match for Nakamura headed into the biggest show of the year.

Finally in a women’s tag team match, Becky Lynch and Naomi are favored slightly at -150 to defeat Natalya & Carmella, who are +110 underdogs. These are close odds and could go either way because this match doesn’t matter very much.

As always, the odds will change as we draw close to the event. The minus sign represents the favorites and the plus sign indicates underdogs. The digit after the plus or minus tells us how favored or unfavored a particular competitor is.

Final WWE Clash of Champions Betting Odds

Registration is absolutely free and there is no obligation to place a wager upon joining. Bets can be made for as low as 50 cent and can be made up until when the bell rings for individual matches.

With WWE Clash of Champions just a few hours away, the current betting odds haven’t seen any flips of projected winners, nor do they suggest that there have been leaks of finishes. None of these odds have flipped in the other direction and new odds have been added for previously unrated matches. Watch with a free month of the WWE Network.

Baron Corbin is favored to retain the United States Championship at -385 and Bobby Roode has odds of +375 of winning that title. Because Dolph Ziggler is also in the match to make it a Triple Threat, he has long shot odds of +1035. It is speculated within many of the popular internet wrestling communities that Dolph was added to the match for the sole purpose of taking the pin and protecting both Corbin and Roode in the process.

In their PPV debut with this new gimmick “The Bludgeon Brothers”, Luke Harper and Erick Rowan are heavily favored at -2150 to defeat Breezango. While this may look like a smart money number, this is almost certainly a case of the Bludgeons being a very obvious winners. An upset would be further proof of the leaks of finishes being sealed up.

Another match with odds recently added is also very lopsided with Mojo Rawley favored at -1545 against his former tag team partner, Zack Ryder. This is also an obvious choice because Mojo recently turned heel by attacking his tag team partner. The idea here is build momentum for Rawley, who stood tall winning the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at Wrestlemania earlier this year.

AJ Styles’ odds have improved to -720 defending against Jinder Mahal for the WWE Championship, while Charlotte Flair’s odds to retain the Smackdown Women’s Championship against Natalya have remained unchanged at -675.

The Usos odds have shortened to -140 to retain the Smackdown Tag Team Championship in a Fatal Fourway. The challengers now have odds of winning as well. Shelton Benjamin and Chad Gable have the best odds of dethroning at +370 and in second place is The New Day at +410. Rusev and Aiden English are least likely to win with odds of +535.

Kevin Owen and Sami Zayn have seen their odds widen from -300 to -975 to defeat Randy Orton and Shinsuke Nakamura. The stipulation is that Kevin and Sami are fired from the entire WWE if they lose.

Major Upsets at WWE Summerslam Means the Leaks Have Finally Been Sealed! No More Spoilers.

5Dimes offers gambling odds of all WWE PPV Events and accept customers worldwide. Click Here To Visit 5Dimes.

The smart money odds never came in for this year’s Summerslam and it appears WWE has finally sealed the leaks that have been effecting the betting odds for years. Time will tell if this is a permanent policy to keep the outcomes under wraps. As a result there were 5 upsets out of 13 matches.

While Shinsuke Nakamura had been heavily favored to defeat Jinder Mahal in the WWE Championship match, those odds flipped hours before the match slightly in Mahal’s favor. Jinder ended up winning. Not exactly an upset by the final odds, however Nakamura was at -1500 at one point, so earlier bets on Mahal paid off nicely. The Smackdown Women’s Championship also flipped before the event in Natalya’s favor, as well and held up with Natty beating Naomi for the title.

John Cena was a slight underdog against Baron Corbin, however was able to win and this can be considered an upset.

Sasha Banks was able to win the WWE Raw Championship from Alexa Bliss as a slight underdog, however Banks had been favored throughout most of the week the before the odds flipped in Bliss’ favor.

Rusev was surprisingly favored to win from early on, and was able to hold on to the favorability up until the bell rang. Randy Orton pulled off the victory anyway, yet another upset.

The Usos, a +400 underdog, managed to successfully regain the Smackdown Tag Team Championships against the New Day at -600. Even in the first preshow match the odds did not hold up. The Miz and The Miztourage upset The Hardy Boyz and Jason Jordan.

If this trend continues, the landscape of the betting odds has effectively been changes and smart money leading to spoilers could be history.

Updated: New Favorite in Women’s Fatal 5 Way at WWE Battleground, Full Updated Odds

The following odds are sourced from 5Dimes. Bets are taken from players worldwide.
(Updated 2:22pm EST and again at 6:33PM, watch 5Dimes for the latest numbers!)

Natalya Rallies the Sports Books Worldwide

As of press time, the “smart money odds” for tonight’s WWE Battleground have not emerged, but there is a shocking line move. Natalya is now favored to win the Fatal 5 Way Match in the women’s division whereas yesterday Charlotte was the projected winner. What is shocking about this is that oddsmakers had Natalya at +1200 yesterday, at the time the least favored other than Tamina. No word on why gamblers are backing Natalya here. Should be interesting to find out if this shift is result of a leak from insiders.

In another major turn of events, odds have shifted in favor of Randy Orton to beat Jinder Mahal for the WWE Championship Title.  As of last updates Jinder Mahal is once again favored to retain the WWE Championship over Orton.

The flag match has widened slightly continues to widen with John Cena favored even heavier at -1350. Bets were being taken on this particular match for weeks and Rusev was never close to being favored to win at anytime. A Rusev win would be one of the greatest upsets in PPV history. Other than Cena, Tye Dillinger actually the best odds of winning his match at -1200 as well. Dillinger will be facing Aiden English.  And English is now favored to win as of the time of this final update!

Also we are seeing the odds in the US Title match shift from AJ Styles retaining the belt to Kevin Owens taking it away  And the odds upset yet again with AJ back in favor.

The Usos are still favored to successfully retain, but these matches are a lot closer in the odds than they could be right now. The New Day is currently favored to win the Smackdown Tag Team Titles! Shinsuke Nakamura is still favored to overcome Baron Corbin Corbin is now slated to beat Nakamura   Nakamura is now favored and Mike Kanellis is has even odds against Sami Zayn.

WWE Battleground – Find Out Who is Favored by Sports Books

The following odds are sourced from Paddy Power and while the odds can be followed anywhere in the world, bets are accepted from a limited number of nations including The United Kingdom, Ireland, Channel Islands, Finland, Greece, Japan, New Zealand, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Gibraltar, Malta, Norway, Sweden and the United Arab Emirates. Visit Paddy Power [clink id=”14″ target=”_blank”]by clicking here.[/clink]

Paddy Power has set odds for all 7 announced matches for this Sunday’s WWE Battleground in Philadelphia and on the WWE Network. Both The Punjabi Prison Match and The Flag Match have had odds available for weeks but this is more extensive. It’s worth mentioning that The Flag match had odds set by 5Dimes immediately after Great Balls of Fire ended and this could be why the odds are so lopsided there with it being available to the larger market for a long period of time.

John Cena is favored at -1000, meaning it would take a $1000 bet just to win $100 because Cena is so favored against Rusev, who is a +500 underdog. A $100 bet on Rusev could win $500. The long odds could also be due to the perception that this is an obvious win for Cena as this is Cena’s PPV return and the fact that the comapany isn’t behind Rusev since getting that unauthorized haircut.

Jinder Mahal is projected at -333 to retain the WWE Championship in the third ever Punjabi Prison Match. Orton is a +220 underdog here. There are strong odds for Mahal, however they will most likely become longer by the day of the event.

The United States Champion, AJ Styles is favored at -300 to retain over Kevin Owens at +188, so these are very similar odds when compared to Mahal vs Orton. The Smackdown Tag Champions, The Usos are actually slight underdogs at +163 to the challengers The New Day’s -227. As always, The New Day could win via countout or DQ, thus getting the win but not winning the championships.

The Women’s Fatal Five Way to determine the #1 contender for Naomi’s Smackdown Women’s Championship has all the competitors set as underdogs but the best odds are currently with Charlotte at +120. This makes sense as she probably has the be combination of star power and in ring skill for a SummerSlam match.

Shinsuke Nakamura is favored at -250 to beat Baron Corbin at +175. Nakamura winning is something he needs whereas Corbin doesn’t because he would still have the MiTB briefcase after taking a loss. The WWE has a history of their MiTB holders losing only to redeem themselves by cashing in a winning a major championship.

Micke Kanellis vs Sami Zayn is the most even odds of all the matches with Kanellis at -137 to Sami’s “even odds”, which would be +100, an even bet. Meanwhile Tye Dillenger is at -200 to Aiden English’s +150. None of these odds are “smart money odds” at this point and expect them to shift and flip dramatically as they usually do.

Early Odds for WWE Battleground Matches, Rumored Match for Summerslam

The following odds are from both 5Dimes available globally and Paddy Power, avaialable in limited nations.

Who is Favored to Win at Battleground?

Now that the bets have been settled for Great Balls of Fire, Sportsbooks are already offering odds on the matches announced for 2 of the matches for Battleground in Philadelphia on July 23. More and more players are betting on WWE than ever before, so sportsbooks are becoming competitive by offering the odds earlier and generally always having something wrestling related to wager on.

The first match announced is the flag match between John Cena and Rusev. Cena is favored at -400, meaning it would take a successful $400 bet to win +100. Rusev is a +280 underdog in this match.

This match is available in both the European and Global markets.

The WWE Championship match, a Punjabi Prisonmatch, sees the champion Jinder Mahal as a projected -200 favorite. The underdog, Randy Orton, is a +250 underdog. This match currently only available in the Euro market.

These are simply early projections, and as we have seen with Great Balls of Fire, even the “smart money odds” can flip the day of and before the matches. At GBoF, we have seen both Bray Wyatt and Sasha Banks move from underdog to favorite in dramatic fashion. In both cases the flips held true to the eventual result.

Still, based on these early odds it would be fair to speculate that John Cena challenging Jinder Mahal to become a record breaking 17 time World Champions seems to be where WWE is headed for Summerslam. Jinder hangs on to the championship and Cena gets a big win upon his return to get the rust off.
