Kick Off Show:

Rusev and Lana vs Cien Almas and Zelina Vega – I love Lana’s gear. She always looks sharp. Why the hell is there a commercial for the main event in the middle of this match? I hate that. Lana is getting better and better, and Zalina Vega is a force to be reckoned with. I think she’s going to go far. She proves that after Almas distracted Lana and she rolled her up in a schoolgirl pin with her feet on the ropes.

WWE Cruiserweight Championship Match
Cedric Alexander(c) vs Drew Gulak – Gulak has gotten really mean over the years… He tears Alexander apart right off the bat, but Alexander does fight back when he does get the upper hand Alexander gets mean. Alexander does a cool flip to Gulak outside the ring after Gulack powdered out. Gulak uses the ropes to lock in his submission, leaving Alexander kinda banged up. (Those are steel cables, they do hurt) Gulak tries to overpower Alexander but Alexander fights out. After multiple back and forth pin attempts and 2 counts, Alexander retains his title with a small package roll up.

Raw Tag Team Championship Match
The Revival vs The B Team(c)- After a short and fun match the B team retains the Raw Tag Team titles with the third roll up win on this pre-show.

I think the match agents are asleep at the wheel.

Main Show:

Intercontinental Championship Match
Seth Rollins w/Dean Ambrose vs Dolph Ziggler(c) w/Drew McIntyre – This match was entertaining as expected… There are so many small packages in this match, is it the move of the night? A rib on someone? WHY???? Rollins picks up the win with the King Slayer, and takes the Intercontinental Championship.

Smackdown Tag Team Championship Match
The New Day vs The Bludgeon Brothers(c) – Big E and Xavier Woods are in for this match but are getting absolutely pummeled by the Bludgeon Brothers. Xaviers gear looks like a Tide Pod. Match ends in a DQ once Rowan tries to kill TND with a giant mallet. Winners, The New Day.

No title change.

Money In The Bank Contract Match
Kevin Owens vs Braun Strowman for the MITB Contract – Watching Kevin Owens bump after Strowmans shoulder tackles him is everything… lol KO bounced when he hit the diamond plate. WOW. With a big powerslam its over. Braun did not let KO win.

Smackdown Women’s Championship Match
Becky Lynch vs Charlotte Flair vs Carmella(c)- If there was ever a time to #RehireEllsworth its now, as Carmella needs him more than ever. WHY ARE THERE SO MANY SMALL PACKAGES ON THIS PPV? Other than that this match has been great. Carmella has come a long way, Becky looked awesome as always, and Charlotte is insanely athletic. Charlotte wins the title after pinning Becky Lynch. Becky got robbed. Crowd chanting for Becky afterward, she embraces Charlotte, then socks her in the face, the crowd explodes, pop of the night so far. Becky continues her assault on Charlotte outside the ring. Charlotte goes for a ride into the German Announce Desk. I guess thats an irish congradulations.

WWE Heavyweight Championship Match
Samoa Joke vs “The Phenominal” AJ Styles (c) – Shit talking to kick it off, AJ’s soccer mom hair is on point tonight. I wonder how many rest holds Styles will have to take to keep Joe in the match? He’s already blown up and super sweaty and we are only a few minutes in. This match is ok, but TBH these guys could do more, and the women’s match before it totally shows them up. This match is pretty meh, gets into some power moves, AJ takes Joe out, is bleeding then goes and gets his wife and kid, and leaves the ring. Samoa Joe follows AJ, and we cut to commercial. Did the match end? I am so confused. Oh well it was boring anyway.

Who wants to walk with Elias? I am so excited about his latest hit. Elias’s guitar neck snaps, the crowd chants “You Fucked Up” Elias throws some stuff around, it goes dark.

Daniel Bryan vs The Miz – Daniel Bryan looks better than ever. Not going to write much, as honestly I rather watch. This match was great. The Miz wins when Maryse gives him some brass knuckles from ringside, to knock Bryan out.

Baron Corbin vs Finn Balor – THE DEMON HAS RETURNED!!! The crowd is loving it and so am I. Poor Baron Corbin doesn’t know what he signed up for. The demon paint is on point today. The fear in Corbin’s eyes is epic. The Demon goes right after Corbin, Corbin looks screwed. Crowd is chanting “This is Awesome”. “The Demon” Finn Balor makes easy work of Corbin.

United States Championship Match
Jeff Hardy vs Shinsuke Nakamura – Jeff Hardy Mocking Nakamura is hilarious. I wonder if Hardy and Balor did their facepaint together tonight. The match overall was pretty entertaining and high intensity, but didn’t feel polished enough for SummerSlam. Nakamura retains.

Raw Womens Championship Match
Alexa Bliss(c) vs “Rowdy” Ronda Rousey- Ronda undid bliss. End of story. Rousy is the new Raw Womens Champion. Did you really think Bliss had a chance? And is it just me or did that turn to a shoot halfway in?

Universal Championship Match
Roman Reigns vs Brock Lesnar – Am I the only one who hopes Strowman cashes the MITB contract in? Or maybe Ronda comes for belt #2? LOL Oh yes I totally called it! Braun Strowman makes his way down to the ring. He asks for the mic. The crowd is going crazy. He announces he is standing here for the entire match and at the end of the night, one of those two is gonna Get These Hands! Yay. Reigns goes after Lesnar and gets off to a great start. Lesnar is a little slow, probably ring rust…lol Lesnar locks a guillotine on Reigns, Reigns counters and both men down. Not a bad start. Lesnar has got the guillotine on again, Reigns is trying to power out. He manages to get up and give Lesnar a spine buster. Lesnar takes Reigns to Suplex City… Is that a Jimmy Johns sandwich logo on Lesnar’s shorts?  Reins does a suicide dive, misses Lesnar, hits Strowman outside the ring, and Lesnar gives Strowman a F5. The Lesnar starts hitting Strowman with the suitcase and a chair, while he stupidly gives Reigns time to recover in the ring. He brings the chair and Reigns spears him, and gets the pin! Roman Reigns is your new Universal Champion! Braun Strowman is still down on the ground at ringside… Guess no one is going to catch those hands after all.

Tune in next time, for more snarky commentary from me!

Main Show:

The show opens with The New Day cutting a promo in the ring, in the cell.

Smackdown Tag Team Championship – Hell in a Cell Match
The New Day (c) vs The Usos:
Really surprised this is the kickoff match. Both teams immediately go for weapons conveniently stored under the ring. There are kendo sticks chains and all kinds of other weapons available and all 4 men are legal. Xavier Woods and Big E are in for TND tonight. Kofi is locked outside the cage. This match is crazy. Jimmy Uso nails Woods against the side of the cage. Crowd chants “THIS IS AWESOME” and there is no way I can keep up with the insanity. Woods uses trombones as weapons against Jay Uso, then Big E pulls out a cowbell… cause we always need more cowbell, and Woods hits Jay with the bell. Big E now has a Cymbal. and Woods uses it to hit Jay with as well making a lovely ringing sound. As fast the TND took over they get cut off by the Uso’s now armed with Kendo sticks. They begin to beat the crap out of Big E with the kendo sticks. Jimmy pins Woods against the side of the cage with a kendo stick and Jay comes in with a dropkick to the face… The Uso’s are 2 on 1 on Big E, but Big E takes Jay out right away but Jimmy cuts him off. Big E manages to take both of the Uso’s out by slamming one into the other. Big E rolls Jimmy into the ring, for a double team with Woods, Jay manages to cut it off. More kendo sticks! Is this the Sandman’s secret stash? TND uses the kendo sticks to lock Jay Uso in the corner… hahahaha WTF… Now they are teaming up on Jimmy. Jay Uso somehow escapes, takes out Woods, Jimmy picks up steam and takes out Big E, Jay picks E up and they double team him into the cage, the crowd is chanting “Holy Shit” poor Big E… ouch… Usos have dragged Big E Usos both get a Splash from the top on Big E but he kicks out on 2… The Usos now have handcuffs… with long chains in between them. they handcuff Big E to a corner, and Jimmy tries to lock Woods up to the other corner. Woods is getting beat with the kendo stick while handcuffed to the ring post. well technically his hands are over the post, so he can get free if he flips his arms right… which he does… Big E has broken his handcuffs and makes easy work of the Usos. He goes bonkers and starts beating both of the Uso’s up, he tosses Jay in the ring, hits his finisher, but Jay kicks out on 2. Big E puts Jay in a submission but Jimmy superkicks him, Usos now both super kick Big E, they hit their finisher but Woods breaks it up at the last second. Uso’s get back up first… and start beating Woods with the kendo sticks again. He is still handcuffed BTW… He tries to fight back, but they continue to assault him. Now they have a chair… its put on top of Woods and the Uso’s do their double team move to become the 5-time Smackdown Tag Team Champions!!!!

Rusev vs Randy Orton:
The match starts off with the two men testing each other. Rusev takes control and shoulders Orton into the corner. Rusev took too much time heeling the crowd, and Orton recovers and stomps him. Orton goes for his finisher but Rusev sends him over the top and into the barricade. Rusev gets a 2 count on Orton. Rusev continues to stomp Orton after he kicks out then gives him a few good forearms.  Rusev puts Orton in a headlock in hopes of chocking him out, but Orton fights back to his feet and headbutts Rusev. Rusev cuts him off and gets another 2 count on Orton. Both men are outside the ring, Orton sends Rusev into the barricade, then gets kicked in the face. Rusev throws Orton back in the ring for a 2 count. Rusev looks blown up. He drops an elbow on Orton. then kicks him a few times. Rusev sends Orton to the corner, but Orton moves out of the way, they each take a moment to breathe then come back to fight hand to hand, Orton looks like he has a hold on it but Rusev outsmarts him, counters, Orton counters and Powerslams Rusev for the 2 count. Rusev gets a fallaway slam on Orton, gets another 2 count. Rusev stomps Orton goes for a submission, Orton escapes to the outside. Rusev follows and kicks Orton in the face. Rusev tosses Orton back in the ring, and goes up the second rope, goes for a splash and misses. Orton hits a DDT ton Rusev, then gets pumped up by the crowd… Rusev gets up tries to fight back, Orton hits him with the RKO to pick up the win.

United States Championship Match: Triple Threat
AJ Styles (c) vs Baron Corbin vs Tye Dillinger
Dillinger being added only increases the chances of Corbin winning in my opinion. Styles and Dillinger go to team up on Corbin and he rolls out… they chase him out, he jumps back in and the two men beat up on Corbin, then toss him out and Dillinger then turns on Styles. Back and forth between them until Styles cuts Dillinger off with a dropkick, then Corbin drags Styles out of the ring, goes to take over on Dillinger more back and forth and Dillinger ends up out, and Styles rolls back in. I can’t type as fast as this match is happening… lol  Every time Dillinger pops back up, Corbin sends him flying back down then continues his assault on Styles. All men are back in the ring, and Corbin is just destroying Styles and Dillinger. Corbin beats on Dillinger, Styles finally gets back up, and then he gets sent flying by Corbin. Corbin goes after Styles on the outside, Styles reverses gets a few hits in before being thrown into the barricade by Corbin. Corbins back in the ring with Dillinger, Dillinger is back up but its doesn’t seem like it will last long… Corbin puts Dillinger into a submission, Dillinger tries to fight p Corbin lets go because Styles is back on his feet. again not for long… Corbin continues to beat on Dillinger after taking Styles out again. Corbin gets a 2 count on Dillinger… Styles gets back in the ring… starts to fight back with Corbin, throwing punches backing him up against the ropes. Styles continues to fight hard back against Corin until he takes him down. Styles tries for his finisher but Corbin cuts him off. He hits Corbin with a forearm, Styles gets dumped onto the apron by Coring, but then pulls Corbin over the top dumping him to the outside. We have Styles vs Dillinger, but Dillinger quickly takes control. Dillinger has AJ on the top rope, and AJ escapes, and counters sending Dillinger hits styles gets a 2 count. Dillinger exposes his knee Styles gets some finisher attempts, gets Dillinger in an ankle lock but Corbin drags Dillinger to the ropes to break the submission, Styles jumps off the top splashing both men. All 3 men are down… Corbin tosses Dillinger in, some back and forth Styles is up, Corbin gives Styles a chokeslam neck-breaker from hell and Styles kicks out on 2. All 3 men continue to battle it out faster than I can type…. Dillinger picks Styles up, but Styles evades him, then Corbin who follows. Styles hits a top rope 450 on Corbin, but Dillinger breaks the pin on 2. Styles hits Dillinger with a giant forearm off the top, goes for the pin, Corbin pulls him off, covers Dillinger and is your new United States Champion.

Smackdown Women’s Championship:
Natalya Neidhart (c) vs Charlotte Flair
Both ladies have dope new outfits on. It’s nice to see this two wrestle, so sorry if there isn’t as much play by play. Natalya has been on 40 PPVs now, more than any other woman in the history of WWE. That’s pretty awesome. This match has a lot of back and forth and mocking by Charlotte. Natalya and Charlotte have had a lot of back and forth and are currently trying to outwrestle each other on the ground. Natalya has worn Charlotte down and bit and continues to take advantage of that. Charlotte is fighting but Nattie holds her in a leg lock. Charlotte reverses and gets Natalya into an ankle lock, but she escapes and goes right back after Charlotte. Every time Charlotte gets back to her feet Natalya knocks her down. More back and forth, Charlotte gets a 2 count on Nattie with a backslide, then gives her a bunch of chops, than a knee drop. Charlotte’s knee is hurt, but she continues to fight back and gets a suplex on Natalya. Natalya exploits the knee then gives Charlotte a powerbomb and gets a 2 count. One more cover… kick out… another cover, then kick out. Natti looks pissed. Charlotte tries to pin Natalya but kicks out on 1. Natalya starts stomping on Charlotte, Charlotte cuts her off, but Charlotte’s knee gives out, Charlotte limps to her feet and is sent out of the ring by Natalya, who hits her with a baseball slide into the steel stairs. Nattie gets Charlotte back in the ring, and puts her in the sharpshooter in the center of the ring, Charlotte manages to flip Nattie out of the hold, and into the bottom turnbuckle. Nattie is down, Charlotte goes to the top, Nattie rolls out, and Charlotte kicks her. Charlotte goes to the top and does a moonsault onto Natalya on the outside. Natalya is down, Charlotte’s knee is injured. Natalya retains by count out, then assaults Charlotte with a steel chair.

Breezango segment… they get a delivery…. and its a poster of the Ascension. From the Ascension who they didn’t recognize in street clothes. They send them away and a briefcase is left at the door… Breezango opens it and a golden light shines out… it’s not just a briefcase… its a new case.

WWE Championship Match
Jinder Mahal (c) vs Shinsuke Nakamura
I am really annoyed this match isn’t in a cell… With the Singh brothers at ringside, how is it not? Mahal and Nakamura have some solid back and forth and Mahal is not happy with Nakamura’s antics, or his face paced moves. Mahal powders out of the ring… Again I am more focused on watching this match than play by play. Mahal tries a submission on Nakamura, but he works out of it. Mahal then tries an armbar on Nakamura, but he works out of it again. Nakamura gets tossed hard into the corner, Mahal gives him a huge knee to the face, then puts him back in the armbar.  Nakamura works his way up again, and both men fight back until they both end up on the ground. Nakamura hits Mahal with a Flying boot then a few kicks to the chest. Nakamura gets a 2 count pin cover… Mahal cuts him off, but ends up getting dumped over the top and Nakamura baseball slides into him bit then the Singh Brother get involved, he takes them out and goes back after Mahal. Nakamura hurts his knee, gets suplexed back into the ring by Mahal for a 2 count. Mahal stand over Nakamura like a tiger about to pounce, Mahal grabs him, but Nakamura is able to roll him into a small package for 1 count, Nakamura gets to the top, boot to the face of Mahal from the top. Singh Brothers interfering again, but Nakamura uses Mahal as a weapon against them this time, the Singhs keep interfering and are banned from ringside by the ref, Nakamura hits his finisher but Mahal grabs the bottom rope to break the pinfall. Mahal powders, Nakamura chases him throws him back in the ring and gets bumped, counters, throws Mahal Mahal hits his finisher and gets the 3 count on Nakamura to retain the WWE Championship. Boooooo

Bobby Roode vs Dolph Ziggler:
This match starts out with classic chain wrestling as you would expect. Totally digging this matchup. These guys are fairly well matched and both wrestle really well, but it seems Roode is beginning to take control. Ziggler underestimates Roode I think. Ziggler gets a 2 count roll up on Roode but Roode kicks out. Ziggler has now reported to heel tactics rubbing Roode’s face down the ropes then hitting him with a neck breaker for a 2 count. Ziggler grabs Roode in a wristlock submission, but Roode fights out, Ziggler cuts him off and gets him into a sleeper hold. Roode seems to be fading out… Roode is trying to escape, Rode gets back up to sitting and begins to fight Ziggler off, getting him up and over in a side suplex. Both men get back to their feet, Ziggler ends up shoulder first into the ring post. Roode punches Ziggler, Ziggler reverses, Roode reverses, hits a move from the top for a 2 count. Roode hits another hard slam on Ziggler for the 2 count. Ziggler hits Roode with a DDT for a two count. Both men go for finishers and are blocked, Ziggler grabs Roode back into the sleeper hold, Roode fights back but gets another DDT by Ziggler for another 2 count pin. Both men are down. Ziggler gets up first, starts stomping to “tun up the band, but Roode cuts him off with a spine buster. Roode goes for Glorious, Ziggler rolls him up with the tights,  then roll up off, and Roode wins by pinfall roll up with the tights.

Hell in a Cell Match
Kevin Owens vs Shane Mcmahon:
This starts before these two can even get in the ring. Shane and Kevin just continue to brawl at the end of the ramp, until Owens gets in the cage and holds the door shut, but Shane kicks the door into his face. They are in! Owens knocks Shane into the cage right off the bat, and Shane fights back from the ground, Owens picks him up and grinds his face into the cage in front of his children, who seem to be… laughing at him? Owens steps on Shanes face a bit and dumps the steel steps on him. Shane tries crawling away but Owens chases him to kick him in the ribs. Shane gets up, kicks Owens, and then punches him a few times, Owens gets back in the ring, Shane follows and gets stomped. Owens just keeps punching Shane, and Shane tries to work back up but Owens keeps him down. Owens hits a standing senton for a 2 count. Owens has Shane in the corner, but Shane is trying to fight back, Big knee to Shanes’ face, then a cannonball by Owen, cover and a kick out. Owens is talking shit to Shanes kids, and they continue to laugh. Owens goes to the top and misses the Senton, as Shane got his knees up, but Shane got his knee hurt when Owens landed on him. Both men are back up, Shane starts punching Owens into the corner, and hits him with a flying elbow. Shanes fired up gets Owens worked into a corner, then pulls him out and hits him with a big DDT (overused tonight BTW) Shane goes to the top shooting star press, but nobodies home. Owens then goes to the top hits Shane with a big splash but Shane kicks out. Shane runs in grabs Owens in an armbar, trying to get him into the triangle, but Owens is fighting him trying to fully apply it. Owens pulls Shane out of the ring and Power Bombs him onto the ring stairs. Owens gets back up stomps Shane a bit, Shanes complaining about his back, the crowd is chanting “get the tables” Owens get’s the table… Owens sets the table up against the side of the cage, and sets Shane up on the table, then runs off the apron and jumps, but Shane rolls out of the way and Owens takes out the table and himself. Shane gets a 2 count at ringside on Owens. Falls count anywhere… Shane is now beating Owens with a broken chunk of the table. He pulls a trash can out from under the ring, throws it into the ring, hits Owens with the table chunk again, then throws Owens in the ring as well. Shane grabs the can, sets it up on Owens and goes to the top rope, and hits the dropkick to the trashcan flattening Owens. Shane pins Owens, somehow Owens gets a foot on the ropes. Shane is telling the ref to open the cell. The ref says no, Shane gets bolt cutters and struggles to cut the lock… He breaks the lock and opens the cell. He then returns to the ring and hits Owens with the trash can. Shane is chasing Owens up the ramp, Shane ends up face first into the metal on the walkway, Owens works to his feet, and picks up Shane to run him nuts first into the cage door… Owens then runs Shanes face down the cage and continues to beat on him, then begins to tear the announce table apart, tossing the parts at Shane. Owens sets Shane up on the table and first climbs the barricade to jump onto Shane, but then decides to climb the cage instead.
Owens is 20′ in the air on top of the “cell” Owens acts as if he has reservations about jumping off the cage, Shane gets up and follows Owens to the top of the cage. Owens punches Shane as he hangs off the side of the cell, but Shane fights his way to the top, Shane and Owens unleash on each other on top of the cell. They take each other down, the roof bends… Shane hits a bodyslam on Owens, then almost falls off the cell. The crowd is chanting “THIS IS AWESOME”. They continue to fight, Shane gives Owens a big suplex, the cage top is getting weaker and weaker… These men continue to fight… Everyone is waiting for them to fall through. I think I can see the gimmicked panel it’s to the left of center on the main camera… Owens gives Shane a huge Powerbomb the cage holds. Owens goes to shitcan Shane off the cell, Shane reverses, they continue to fight, Owens then begins to climb down, but Shane starts to choke him. Shane chases Owens down the cage. They are now fighting on the side of the cage, halfway up, and Owens falls off into the announce table, Shane clings to the cage like spiderman… EMTs checking on Owens, Shane descends from the cage. Shane makes the EMTs move so he can pin Owens, but instead, he drags Owens back to take apart the other announce table. Shane sets up Owens on the announce table, then climbs to the top of the cage. Shane is on top of the cell, He crosses himself, drops an elbow, and Owens gets pulled out of the way by Sami Zayn, Shane annihilates the table and the EMT’s call for the backboard. Shanes looking potentially damaged. EMT’s are trying to check on Shane, Sami moves them, drags Owens over to cover Shane. Kevin Owens is your winner. WTF?

Overall this special event wasn’t too bad. I really enjoyed a few of the matches, and am looking forward to watching Smackdown on Tuesday! Thanks for checking out my review and results, and check out my other writing here!

Summerslam 2017 Live Results

Preshow:
WWE Cruiserweight Title Match
Neville vs Akira Tozawa(c): Neville takes control early in the match up, but Tozawa doesn’t look like Neville’s aggressive attack has phased him much. Tozawa isn’t letting Neville get in his head, and takes over. Tozawa holds on to control for only a moment before Neville cuts him off, and both men end up outside the ring… now for a commercial break. I hate that. We come back and Neville is in control and he goes to the top for a big dropkick to Tozawa’s back. He gets a 2 count pin, then gives Tozawa a bunch of stomps to the head. Titus O’Neil is at ringside trying to get the crowd to rally behind Tozawa. Tozawa works his way up and uses himself as a weapon against Neville by tackling him on the outside through the ropes. Both men get back in the ring, we get some back and for but Tozawa continues to keep control. Tozawa gets an octopus hold on Neville, which he turns into a roll up, 2 count, then a shining wizard and another 2 count on Neville… This match is awesome. Tozawa misses senton, Neville cuts him off, but Tozawa comes back, hits a hurricarana, but knocks himself a bit silly and doesn’t cover Neville. Smackdown Tag Team Title Match
The Uso’s vs The New Day (c): I love The New Day’s new outfits… The match starts with Xavier Woods, and Jimmy Uso, Lots of fast paced action, Jimmy Uso is having a hard time keeping up with Woods. Woods takes control, and works Jimmy over in the corners for a bit. Jimmy tries to cut him off but gets a big boot, Woods tries to take him out while he is hurt with a flying top rope move, but is cut off by Jimmy Uso’s fist… and we go to another commercial. BOOOOO.We are back, and Jimmy Uso has maintained control of the match and is currently holding Woods in the center of the ring, in a chokehold. Woods works his way up, but Uso pushes him back into the far corner from his partner. Jay Uso is tagged in, and begins to make work of Woods. Jay Uso tries to take Woods to the top, but Woods fights his way out, and manages to barely land a drop kick on Jay. Woods reaches to tag Big E, but Jimmy Uso has taken him out… Jay and Jimmy Uso begin attacking Woods together, Big E is still knocked out on the other side of the ring. Woods tries to fight back, but The Uso’s give him a double-team move, and get a 2 count on Woods. The Uso’s continue to both work over Woods, until the ref begins to count.  Big E is back up, and yelling to Woods to encourage him, Jimmy Uso still has Woods, but is losing control… He gets a body drop on Woods, which helps him regain control. Woods is still fighting back, and manages to reverse on Uso, and tag Big E in. Big E grabs Jimmy Uso and begins his assault. Big E tosses Uso around like a rag doll. Jay Uso gets in, same thing, Big E gets 2 count on Jay. TND tag in and out switching off on assaults, then Xavier puts Big E up and drops him on Jay for another 2 count. That was pretty dope. Holy hell that was a great match!

SUMMERSLAM IS STARTING!

John Cena vs Baron Corbin:
First person out, is John Cena, and my NY people are chanting so loud “John Cena Sucks” to his music… lol its amazing.  I wonder who they hate more in NY, Cena or Reigns? Cena has fresh new jorts on, and seems ready to fight. Baron Corbin comes to the ring and looks like he is about to rip off Cena’s head and drink his blood. Lots of back and forth but Corbin is a beast compared to Cena. Cena has longer hair than usual, and its apparent he is getting a bald spot, and it’s hella distracting. Corbin seems to be making quick work of him, as he is bigger, stronger, faster, and a better wrestler. I think Cena’s jorts are a little too new and crisp, he can’t seem to move…  Cena mounts a weak comeback, but Corbin cuts him off with a slam for a 2 count pin. Corbin now has Cena in a submission, working his neck. For some reason, he lets go, and Cena gets him back with a drop kick. Corbin angry… roooooar… He’s yelling at Cena. Cena gets a couple of shoulder tackles a slam, then gets silly and goes for the 5 knuckle shuffle twice and misses and gets a chokeslam-backbreaker from Corbin for a 2 count. Corbin puts Cena on the top rope to go for a move, Cena fights back, headbutts him a couple of times, and gets a tornado DDT from the top on Corbin. The crowd is booking. He hits his stupid 5 knuckle shuffle, but Corbin comes back for the Deep 6, gets a 2 count before Cena kicks out. Corbin starts giving Cena some forearms to the face, then some boots to match. Corbin goes after Cena, Cena Ducks, Corbin Ducks, Cena hits the FU on Corbin, and gets the 3 count… The Crowd is booking and singing Cena Sucks…. BOOOOOOOOO

Smackdown Women’s Championship Match
Natalya vs Naomi (c): Nattie’s new ring jacket is FIIIIIIRE! Nice throwback girl! Naomi has some furry technicolor looking coat… whoa. Her new ring gear is also pretty dope. Lots of back and forth from the very beginning, Nattie is more aggressive than usual, tossing Naomi around hard. Natalya is not letting up on Naomi, she seems determined to leave the ring the new champion. We see a cut to Carmella and Ellsworth backstage with the MITB briefcase… Naomi is hanging in there despite getting her ass handed to her. Naomi finally makes a comeback cutting Nattie off, but it doesn’t last long, and Nattie gets her back down for the 2 count. Natalya puts Naomi into an abdominal stretch, but Naomi works out, but is clotheslined when her hair blocks her view… Nattie takes Naomi up to the top, but Naomi fights out and pulls Natalya off the middle rope. Both women are down. Naomi tries a cover but gets a 1 count. More back and forth, and Naomi manages to get another 2 count pin on Natalya. More back and forth and Nattie gets a pin attempt for the count. Naomi gets Nattie in the ropes, and gives her a big leg drop, covers her for another 2 count pin. Nattie cuts Naomi off, Naomi rolls her up, 2 count, Naomi goes for a submission but Nattie hits the sharpshooter! NATALYA IS YOUR NEW SMACKDOWN WOMEN’S CHAMPION!!!! YEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAH!!!

Big Show Vs Big Cass with Enzo Suspended above the ring in a shark cage: Fun Fact: I locked Phil in that cage at Axxess during mania week… Enzo comes out first, dancing his way out, cuts a promo, and is extremely excited to be in NYC… He then quotes little KIM “Money, Power, Respect, is what you need in life”… He says he has that as long as he has a microphone in his hand he has all that. His promo goes on, I am sure you can watch it on youtube or a replay later… His music is interrupted by Big Cass’s new entrance music. Enzo is locked into the cage as Big Cass comes to the ring. The Big Show comes out, he still has his hand wrapped, we don’t know the extent of the injuries to his hand. It kicks off with Big Show in control, and begins working over Cass, but it’s clear his right hand is injured. He lays a huge chop into Cass’s chest. Enzo yells from the cage. Show continues to beat on Cass, as Enzo berates him from above. Show gets a big side slam on Cass, but lands on his bad hand. He continues his assault on Cass despite his hand injury, he climbs to the second rope to jump on Cass but misses when Cass ducks, Cass tries to get up on the Big Show, but Show, punches him and knocks him down for a 2 count. Cass is working to his feet ducks show, and managed to get him down, and starts attacking the injured hand of The Big show. Cass continues to work the injured hand. He holds Show in an arm bar, further weakening Show’s already injured right hand. Cass continues his assault on TBS’s injured hand, with a wrist lock, but TBS works his way up and tosses Cass across the ring, and squishes him in the corner. TBS choke slams Cass for the 2 count pin attempt. Cass powders out of the ring, TBS tries to get him back in but Cass slams TBS’s hand into the ring post. Enzo is trying to get out of the cage at this point… he has stripped and is oiling himself up… this is awesome. Cass has no clue, as he is focused on TBS. Enzo has escaped, distracting Cass. He is trying to drop down from the cage and gets booted in the face by Cass. TBS has gotten up, takes a big boot from Cass for a 2 count. Cass hits TBS with another big boot then the empire elbow, and he gets the 3 count on TBS. Big Cass has won the battle of the big men… this time.

Randy Orton vs Rusev: Rusev ambushes Orton before the match starts, and just lays into him. Orton gets thrown hard into the barricade, Rusev looks crazed, Orton looks like he may be hurt… The official is trying to keep Rusev off Orton to see if he should even start the match… Orton looks spaced, ref calls for bell, and Orton hits Rusev with the RKO. Its over. Orton won. That was fast.

Raw Women’s Championship Match

Balor is crawling around on all 4’s and its freaking Wyatt out… Wyatt powders. Wyatt slaps Balor, and Balor unleashes with a flurry of punches and kicks. Baylor is in full demon mode, and Wyatt is in trouble. More back and forth and I am still not sure Wyatt is taking this seriously, Balor continues to attack. Baylor hits a huge over the top to the outside flip onto Wyatt, who keeps powdering out. Balor throws Wyatt back in, heads to the top rope, but Wyatt powders again, Balor goes after him and gets cut off, and suplexed off the apron. Both men down, Wyatt takes control. He tosses Balor back in, and starts throwing forearms. Wyatt keeps control for a bit, bringing Balor into the middle in a choke hold. Balor works his way out, but gets whipped into the corner, Balor counters the Sister Abigail and counters with a double foot chest stomp. The Demon Balor has won the match!!!

Raw Tag Team Championship Match
Seth Rollins & Dean Ambrose vs Cesaro & Sheamus (c): Ambrose and Cesaro start it off, but Sheamus tags in before the match can start. They chain wrestle a bit, Ambrose tags in Rollins, and Sheamus tags in Cesaro, then Ambrose is tagged in by Rollins they double team Cesaro. Too many tag changes to keep up. Rollins & Ambrose clear the ring… Cesaro and Sheamus are planning something at ringside… Cesaro gets in the ring with Rollins, ducks Rollins, knocks down Ambrose, then Sheamus stomped him. Rollins tries to dive at the champs but is caught and tossed. Cesaro & Sheamus are taking turns abusing Rollins. Sheamus and Cesaro are much bigger than Rollins and Ambrose… Cesaro is choking Rollins out, but Rollins is holding in there. Rollins matches to get out, and pull a reversal on Cesaro, but he has no one to tag in is Ambrose is still down. Sheamus is now in control, gets a 2 count pin attempt…. Cesaro ran into the crowd and ripped a beach ball apart… hahahahahaha…  Rollins takes another big move, 2 count pin attempt bu Cesaro. Crowd is doing the Sheamus and Cesaro chant… Rollins manages to kick Sheamus in the face, but still has no one to tag…. oh wait.. Ambrose is up but looks almost as bad as Rollins. Cesaro keeps Rollins from reaching his partner and puts him in a wrist lock submission in the middle of the ring. Rollins escapes, tosses Cesaro out, Cesaro hurts his knee tags Sheamus, Sheamus keeps Rollins from tagging Ambrose, but that doesn’t stop Ambrose from coming around and attacking them. Rollins gets the tag finally and its Ambrose and Cesaro.  Ambrose is on fire… He tries a backslide and a rolling neck breaker on Cesaro but cant get more than a 2 count. I cannot type as fast as these guys wrestle… Rollins gets a 2 count on Cesaro… tags in Ambrose, but Cesaro cuts him off with an uppercut. 2 count on Ambrose. United States Championship Match – Special Referee Shane McMahon
Kevin Owens vs AJ Styles (c): Before the match even starts these two are brawling, and Shane is trying to keep em apart. he bell rings, and Styles takes over, and they immediately exit the ring. Back and forth and Owens takes a knee to the face… Styles throws Owens back in… but Owens takes control… Shane is so tan its distracting. Styles cuts off Owens, and for some reason is wearing gloves that make him look like he has lobster claws… More back and forth but now I can’t focus on anything but Styles lobster claws and the fact Shane matches the orange backdrop. Kevin Owens takes control and gets a 2 count on Styles after a cannon ball. Owes continues his assault on Styles and gets a second pin attempt, 2 count. Owens has Styles in a choke hold, which seems to be tonight’s rest hold of choice. Styles fires back, Picks up Owens but Owes reverses and gets a 2 count pin attempt. The crowd is chanting “AJ Styles” and “This is …. mumble” AJ makes a big come back, gives Owens a face buster, and both men are down… This match is pretty boring after that tag match. Styles does a sweet back flip and Owens kicks him in the face, Styles hits a neck breaker, for a 2 count. Owens is still down, Styles going to the top, Owens cuts him off… (totally didn’t see that coming…) Owens tries to get styles on his shoulders, but Styles reverses into a sunset flip power bomb off the top. Styles hits the inverted 450, but Shane McMahon got in the way as he tried to check on Owens…. Shane’s out, Owens gets a Power bomb on Styles, Shane manages to count to 2… Styles kicks out. Owens yelling at Shane that it was a 3 count… More back and forth with mostly Owens in control. AJ gets control but Owens kicks him into Shane, Styles puts Owens in a submission, Owens taps but Shane is on the outside and can’t see the tap. Shane is a worse ref than I am. Owens gets 2 count, Styles has a comeback, but Owens upside down suplexes him into the turnbuckle. AJ on the top, Owens cuts him off, both men crash to the mat when Owens suplexes Styles off the top. 2 count. Owens is back up, so is Styles, they exchange forearms to the face, then chops…some kicks back and forth, Styles hits one of his finishers, but Owens gets out with a two count… Styles goes to the top, misses Owens cuts him off and hits a power bomb, Styles gets his shoulder up on the 2 count, but Owens insists it was 3. Owens hits Shane then it turns into a shoving match, styles rolls up Owens for a 2 count. AJ hits Owens with a flying forearm off the top rope then the Styles clash again for the 3 count. AJ Styles retains his US Championship. Please don’t let Shane ref ever again. Just let him jump off shit once a year, ok?

WWE Championship Match
Shinsuke Nakamura vs Jinder Mahal (c): Nakamura has a live violinist playing his entrance. Dope. Mahal comes out, even more, veiney and jacked. He’s clearly been eating his slim jims and taking his vitamins brother. You can tell by his acne, and breast growth… (Sarcasm yo,  If I was Nakamura I would demand and in ring roid test) Mahal and Nakamura start out with some chain wrestling, but Mahal is trying to over power Nakamura. Nakamura is being his typical goofy self, and Mahal isn’t having it, which is leading to him being his own worst enemy in this match. Mahal gets back into the ring and beats on Nakamura a bit. This match is featuring tri-lingual announcing. Also dope. Both men are outside fighting now, the Singh Bros distract Nakamura a bit so Mahal can toss him into a barricade, then toss him back n the ring, Mahala starts stomping Nakamura, and takes control of the match. He gets Nakamura in the middle of the ring in the same rest hold everyone else on this PPV used. (don’t you fools have match agents) Nakamura is in trouble, Mahal is unleashing his fury on him. Mahal goes for another hold in the middle of the ring, and looks like his arms may pop and deflate at any moment… Nakamura works his way back to his feet, and manages to kick Mahal in the face… both men down…. the fans are eerily quiet… Nakamura gets a few good kicks to the chest of Mahal, then a huge knee to the midsection, Nakamura gets a 2 count on the pinfall. Mahal tries to power bomb Nakamura but he gets the arm and puts Mahal into a nice triangle arm bar, Mahal fought to the ropes. Nakamura gets a nice face buster on Mahal, but Mahal reverses for a 2 count roll up. Mahal knees him in the face for another 2 count… Mahal is now standing over Nakamura, waiting, then gets kicked in the face and runs himself into the steel post. Nakamura takes control, Mahal is down, Singh’s get in the ring, Nakamura takes both out, Mahal does his finisher, and wins? How did he win, if the Singh bros interfered? Was that a no DQ match, or are we just being arbitrary with out rulings tonight?
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO But hey I called it.

Fatal 4 way for The WWE Universal Championship
Roman Reigns vs Braun Strowman vs Samoa Joe vs Brock Lesnar (c): Brock Lesnar looks like he just chugged a gallon of cold brew coffee. Joe and Lesnar and Reigns and Strowman break off fighting with each other in pairs, Lesnar and Reigns meet in the middle of the ring. Lesner suplexes both Reigns, then Joe out of the ring. Strowman and Lesner face off. Strowman tosses Lesnar into the corner then clotheslines him over the top. Beautiful. There’s too much insanity going on to even begin to try to type this as it happens. Bodies everywhere. Strowman is a monster. He picks up Lesnar and carries him like an insulate child and tosses him through the announce table, that was fucking amazing. Lesnar is out Reigns, Joe, and Strowman are fighting. Strowman took an announce chair and took out Joe and reigns with it… then clears another announce table to throw Lesnar through. YEEEEESSSSS. It’s nice to see someone toss Lesnar around like a ragdoll. Strowman is my new hero. Strowman is now flipping the third announce table on top of Lesner. THIS IS UNREAL. Officials and medics pull the table off Lesnar, the crowd is chanting “This is AWESOME”!!! The paramedics come out with a back board for Lesnar… The Champion is being carted away… Strowman is yelling at him as he is wheeled away from ringside. Strowman takes apart the stairs and starts beating Joe and Reigns with the top two steps, then tosses them across the ring. Strowman tosses Reigns in the ring,  Reigns fights back, picks up the stairs and hits Strowman a few times with the steps, sending Sstrowman out of the ring, Joe tries to get Reigns with a roll-up Joe hits the Samoan drop then a flying senton on Reigns for a 2 count. Reigns counters to get control or the mach and gives Joe a Samoan drop for the 2 count… Reigns is waiting for Joe to get up, Joe dodges the punch and gets Reigns in a submission but Strowman comes in and slams them both and takes a 2 count on Reigns. Lesnar comes out and is on his way back to the ring, he tackles Strowman, and starts punching him. Lesner then suplexes everyone… Strowman comes back in, Lesner tries but can’t suplex him, Lesner tries to Kimora on Stroman but Reigns breaks it up. Reigns gives Lesner and Joe some super punches, then gets a 2 count on Lesner. Reigns pulls himself together, Lesner is trying to make it to his feet, Joe grabs Reigns in a submission but Strowman drop kicks him, Strowman almost got the 3 count on Joe, but Lesner pulled the ref out of the ring. Reigns got a superman punch on Strowman for a 2 count, gets a big boot to the face, then Lesner breaks the cover. Everyone looks pretty beat up, well except Strowman, Lesner tries to F5 Strowman but Strowman reverses and Reigns Spears Strowman. Reigns and Lesner in the ring, Lesner misses F5 on Reigns, Samoa Joe tosses Reigns, Lesner gets put in Joes submission, but Lesner hits the F5 on Joe, Reigns breaks the pin, Reigns and Lesner are once again one on one, Reigns gets two superman punches in, Lesner gets back up Reigns hits the third punch, Lesner is about to get up, Brock hits the f5 on Reigns to retain his Universal Championship. Surprisingly this was the match I was least interested in, and it actually turned into one of my favorite matches of the night. Braun Strowman stepped it up. That man is a force to be reckoned with. WOW.

Overall this was a pretty decent show. It just feels soooo long. Less ridiculous intro’s more wrestling, ok? Actually looking forward to this weeks TV events, hopefully, they keep up the pace they set tonight.

The Mae Young Classic Bracket is about to be announced! Yeeeeeessss. Make sure you subscribe to the WWE Network to make sure you do not miss out on this historic event!

Main Card:
1st EVER Women’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match:
Charlotte Flair vs Becky Lynch vs Tamina vs Carmella w.James Ellsworth vs Natayla What no surprise 6th woman? Boo! Tamina clears the ring, they fight a bit, Nattie is first to try to get the briefcase but Charlotte takes her out. Charlotte tries to climb up but Carmella pulls her down, Carmella makes her way up as does Charlotte, they fight a bit at the top of the ladder, Tamina comes and shoves the ladder over. Nice. Nattie hits Tamina with a ladder, Tamina already looked beat up. Becky and Nattie are fighting, broken up by both Carmella and Charlotte…. Its back to just Nattie and Becky, Becky kicks Nattie out and climbs the ladder to be pulled down by Carmella. I have to say, I am enjoying Carmella’s outfit today. Its very appropriate. Carmella gets taken out by Charlotte, who looks meaner today than she has since she came from RAW, Charlotte climbs ladder, Tamina climbs behind her and both take a huge bump to the floor from 3/4 the way up. Charlotte spears Tamina out of the ring, all the women are on the outside. Charlotte does a moonsault off the top turnbuckle onto Tamina and Nattie on the outside, so now they are all down… that was stupid. What good is taking yourself out? Carmella climbs the ladder, but Becky pulls her down and powerbombs her, Becky climbes the ladder, and Ellsworth tips her over and tries to revive Carmella. Ellsworth says fuck it and HE CLIMBS THE LADDER AND TAKES THE CASE!!! Refs are arguing at ringside… James Ellsworth grabs the mic declares Carmella the Winner and gives her the briefcase. Talk about the ultimate screw job!

Daniel Bryan is returning on Tuesday for SmackDown Live and has something to say about this!

Backstage interview with Lana… she is pretty confident she is walking away with the title tonight.

WWE Tag Team Championship Match:
The New Day vs The Uso’s(c) -The New Day cut a bizarre promo, and are also very confident they will walk away victorious tonight. The Uso’s look like they are ready to beat the snot out of The New Day… then they cut to introduce all the announce teams. Seriously? The match starts with Kofi Kingston and Jimmy Uso. They go back and forth, Jay gets tagged in, then Kofi managers to tag Big E in. There is so much going on, as usual its hard to cover it shot for shot, Kofi takes and ugly bump to the outside, when he gets up Jimmy clotheslines him so hard his head almost came off. The Uso’s are tearing poor Kofi apart. Kofi hasn’t been able to tag out for a while, and the Uso’s are taking full advantage of the situation. Jay Uso’s talking mad shit between beating on Kofi. Jay lets Kofi recover a little too long, and gets  sick dropkick, Big E back in, so is Jimmy and Big E gets two huge Belly to bell suplexes on Jimmy, but Jimmy cuts him off. Big E recovers, and there is more back and forth, Big E tags Kofi in and they double team Jimmy Uso. Kofi is back in, and fired up, but the Uso’s cut him off quickly, and Jay gets him in a submission in the middle of the ring. Jimmy tries to take out Big E outside, but gets suplexed on the floor. Kofi hits the SOS on Jay Uso, both men are down. There is a hot tag, and Big E is the legal man, but Jimmy doesn’t realize it, and almost gets put through the floor of the ring. Jimmy breaks up the pin, Xavier distracts him with the trombone, more stuff happens, TND his The Midnight Hour on Jay USO, but jimmy pills him out. The Uso’s stay out of the ring, and lose by count out, so The New Day won the match, but The Uso’s retain their titles.

SmackDown Women’s Championship Match:
Lana vs Naomi(c) : This match starts off hot, both women have a ferocity you don’t often see. Lana screams waaaaaay too much. Lana is way more aggressive than you would expect, she is really taking it to Naomi. Watching the match makes it apparent that she is still very limited in her skill set, but has really leaned to take advantage of what she does know. Lana gets the first cover, Naomi kicks out at 2, Lana has been targeting the champions left knee, and her strategy seems to be paying off. Naomi works her way out of Lana’s control. She regains a little bit and gives Lana 3 big kicks to the head, and then his Lana with The Rear View. But Naomi doesn’t get the pin, Lana gets back in control, and gives her a sit out spine buster… before the match is even over, Carmella has come to the ring, with her MITB Briefcase, Ellsworth, and a referee, is she here to cash in or just to mock Lana? Naomi managers to get back in control and wins by submission… What is Carmella going to do??? She decided to wait for another time.

Maria Kanellis and Mike Kanellis (really) come out, she says the first lady of WWE is back, shes been searching for 7 years for the perfect partner… Its Mike, they pan on educating everyone on SmackDown Live about the Power Of Love. I wonder how Bruce Prichard Feels about this.

WWE Championship Match:
Randy Orton vs Jinder Mahal(c) – Actually enjoying this match, and got distracted by someone interested in what I was watching. Mahal has dominated a lot of this match so far, but as we all know a viper waits to strike! Orton does indeed strike, Dumping Mahal into the legends including his Dad in the front row, then he gets dumped on the announce table himself. The men go back and forth a bit more, Orton tosses Mahal, but Mahal powders out, Orton follows him and gets capped in the knee on the barricade. OW. Mahal drags him to the ring for a 2 count. This knee submission was already used in the tag match. GAH I hate that. Jinder Mahal is a giant copycat. Too distracted to give a play by play, this match has been fun to watch. Orton superplex’s Mahal off the top rope, and gets a 2 count. Orton gets the RKO but the Singh brothers put Mahal’s foot on the rope. They get thrown out from ringside, but this is a major distraction for the official. Mahal has rolled out of the ring, Orton lays there catching his breath, the Singh brothers stay at ring side anyway and start shit talking the legends, grabbing Cowboy Bob Orton, and Randy comes to his dads rescue… Orton then destroys the Singh’s who aren’t even heavy enough to go through an announce table… ha. But where is Mahal? Orton puts one of the Singh’s through a table with a RKO, Jinder Mahal then drags him in the ring, and gets the win, retaining the title. BOO.

Breezango: The Fashion Police vs The Ascension – This is a solid tag tam match, Totally enjoyed watching it. Fandango gets the roll up for the win. Congratz to the Ascension on the PPV, you guys are going places.

2017 Men’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match:
AJ Styles vs Dolph Ziggler vs Sami Zayn vs Kevin Owens vs Shinsuke Nakamura vs Baron Corbin – Baron Corbin starts it off by attacking Nakamura from behind during the strobe light part of his entrance. Nakamura is knocked out at on the entrance way… Match starts anyway. I will try to give you highlights, there is no way I can follow this mayhem. Pretty much everyone is getting the shit kicked out of them. AJ looked to be the first to try to get the ladder up, but Owens came up and kicked him in the face. Owns tries to set the ladder up, Zayn cuts him off… Owens gets away climbs the turnbuckle and Zayn pulls him off and throws him on the ladder. Ouch. Wonder if Nakamura is ok… Ladder is now broke, new ladder in the ring, but Ziggler comes in to take out Zayn. More back and forth… now we got Styles, and Corbin in the ring, Corbin is down, AJ is setting up the ladder, get up, and Corbin climbs up as well. They fight at the top Ziggler pulls Corbin down, climbs over him, and knocks Styles down, and then Corbin yanks Ziggler down, starts to climb but Ziggler his him with the Zigzag.. (Corbin may be dead) Styles Ziggler, and Zayn on a ladder…. all fighting, Styles falls off, Ziggler and Zayn fighting at the top. Zayn gives Ziggler the sunset flip power bomb off the top. OUCH. Owens is back, pulls Zayn out, they go back and forth a bit, Zayn just did some sick shit to Owens, and I am pretty sure he’s dead too. There is carnage ad bodies everywhere. Zayn climbs the ladder, and Styles launches himself from who knows where, off the top rope, and knocks Zayn and the ladder down. Corbin is back up and yanks Styles up, and smashes him into the announce table a few times. Corbin sets a ladder up off the stairs and the desk, but takes too long and styles fights back, Styles still gets choke-slammed into the ladder. This is a painful match. Corbin and Zayn are in the ring, Zayn takes him out, gets the ladder up climbs up and Ziggler and owns both try to pull him down. Owens succeeds. Owens now on ladder, Styles pulls him down. They go back and forth a bit. Styles gives Owens a suplex on the ladder on the stairs and everyone’s dead. Styles gets up and climbs the ladder, AJ Styles is hanging from the chain he takes a huge bump that looks really ugly after falling without the suitcase. Corbin takes Ziggler out, and starts to climb, and Nakamura is up! YEEEEEEAAAAH! Nakamura is pretty fresh in comparison, he just took a nap… He’s making work of Corbin, knocks him out of the ring, Ziggler runs in and Nakamura makes quick work of him, Same thing with Zayn, then Owens when he tries to hold the ladder, Nakamura sets up the ladder, everyone else seems dead… He makes the Ascent, and Styles joins him…. crowd is freaking out… they move the ladder aside, then go blow for blow. its back and forth a bit, Nakamura gets The Exploder on Styles, but when Nakamura goes back for more, Styles cuts him off. Crowd is chanting “This is Awesome” It actually is. Styles is climbing as is Nakamura, they fight at the top, There’s 15 minutes left in this PPV??? Corbin comes and takes them both out, by knocking them off the ladder, and he easily climbs the ladder and gets the briefcase. Baron Corbin is this years Money In the Bank Winner!

Yet another great SmackDown branded PPV. Overall I really enjoyed the PPV, as you can see in comparison to my other reviews. The last RAW PPV was boring as fuck, and seriously creative on that brand needs to step up their game! (Don’t blame the talent!)

WWE Extreme Rules Results

Pre show:

Kalisto vs Apollo Crews w/ Titus O’neil – I really enjoyed this match. Lots of high flying lucha action from Kalisto, and lots of power moves by Crews. These two guys work well off each others very different wrestling styles. This match has lots of action, and ends after Titus O’neil accidentally distracts Crews with advice and Kalisto hits the Salida Del Sol for the win.

Main Card:

Intercontinental Championship Match: If Ambrose gets DQ’d he loses the Title – The Miz vs Dean Abrose(c) – Basically this match is gonna be an attempted screw job. Maryse is in wrestling gear at ringside. So that says something. Miz tries to get Ambrose caught with the chair, is inciting him to beat and choke him.  A bit of wrestling happens… go figure… I’m imagining a “This is Boring” chant in my head. I’m way less interested in this match then I thought I’d be. I am also writing this from my cell so excuse any mistakes. Ok match has gotten a bit better since Ambrose dropped a elbow off the top. Still way less interesting than I’d expect from these guys. Abrose hurts his leg, Miz takes advantage. Gets dean in a figure 4. Ambrose gets the ropes but os pretty beat after, but still has more. During the fray Miz pulls a turnbuckle cover off. Ambrose doesnt fall gor it. More back and forth. Ambrose geta Miz in the figure 4. Miz gets the ropes. Maryse slaps Miz and official sends Maryse to the locker room. Miz slams Ambrose into the ref, official was still distracted by Maryse. Miz hits Skullcrusher thing for the win. Your new Intercontinental Champion: The Miz.

Backstage Interview with Bayley talking about watching some Kendo stick matches, and saw Wonder Woman and shes ready to get the Womens Championship Back.

Noam Dar and Alicia Fox vs Rich Swann and Sasha Banks: The guys start put but then the girls tag in and get a good chunk of time in the start of match but dont do much?? Guys tag back in, beat each other up. Alicia Fox tries to get involved,  anf Banks attacks her tossing her out of the ring. Everyones out, Banks goes to the top to get Fox Dar tries to move Fox and gets tackled by Banks instead. Swann drags him back to the ring to give him another move from the top for good measure, Swann pins Dar for the win. Swann and Banks dance in the ring.

Elias Sampson is in the ring, with a guitar and a keffiteh asking who wants tp rock with him… people don’t seem to want to rock with him. He sings about how gross Balitmore is gross to the tune of hotel California or something. Its really weird. Thanks Elias.  Booker T thinks he’s good, now im totally sold.

RAW Women’s Championship: Kendo Stick on a Pole Match – Bayley vs Alexa Bliss(c) – Bliss taunts Bayley right from the start. Alexa is first to go for the Kendo stick but Bayley gets the stick but drops it and both woman fall outside. Bayley blocks Alrxa from the stick then gives her a suplex on the groubd outside. Bayley has the kendo stick,  Alexa ran away, Bayley took too much time and Alexa kicks the kendo stick outta her hands and then beats Bayley with it. BAayley does a Belly to Bayley on Alexa, more bavk and forth, Alexa gets the stick again beats Bayley, and Alexa retains her title. Lesson: don’t hesitate when ypu have a kendo stick.

RAW Tag Team Championship Match: Steel Cage Match, both members must escape the cage – Cesaro and Sheamus vs The Hardy Boyz (c) – Cersaro and Sheamus have some sweet black kilts and matching jackets. The cage is open at the top so its pretty ridiculous. No nm pinfalls or submissions just both members have to escape. The Hardys are gicing a beating to Sheamus and Cesaro, who clearly have less cahe match experience.  Hardys try to escape, but thier opponents pull them back in. Matt Hardy gets to the top of the cage, Cesaro goes after him and hands him off to Sheamus for a standing senton. Cesaro and Sheamus are now in control, beating up the Hardys for thier chance at escape. Jeff fights back, climbs the cage, Sheamus pulls him down. More back and forth, all men are down. Hardys climb first but Sheamus and Cesaro follow, all men at the top of the cage. Jeff makes it out, its now 2 on one, but Matt takes both men down momentarily. Matt scales the cage, Ceasaro and Sheamus are dragging him back into the ring and he gets a double Razors Edge. Jeff Hardy is trying to get back in, but Cesaro slams the cage door on his face. Sheamus tries the door but Matt gets him in a Twist of Fate. Matt then pulls Ceasaro down, but Cesaro gets up and pulls him down and C&S give Maty the White Noise. Jeff gets back in and does the Whisper in the Wind from the top of the cage. Race to the outside of the cage, Ceasaro and Sheamus for the win and the Tag Titles! Yaaaaaaay!

WWE Cruiserweight Championship Match: Submission Match – Austin Aries vs Neville (c) – This match is too much.. plus I rather watch than write… The match was awesome. Neville retains his title. 205Live matches are way better than RAW matches IMO.

Fatal 5 way for #1 contender for Universal Championship Match against Bork Lesner – Bray Wyatt vs Seth Rollins vs Samoa Joe vs Roman Reigns vs Finn Baylor – Joe and Rollings and Wyatt and Balor start off, leaving Reigns standing alone. This Match is way too much to follow to try to write about. Results when it happens… the match was nuts witb Joe and Wyatt teaming up like a wrecking crew. All sorts of chair shots and high spots and even a trip through the barricaide. Samoa Joe wins by Submission. That means we have to watch him wrestle Lesner. Sounds painful. To watch.

Overall I thought this PPV was meh. The last two matches were the best. My MOTN was Neville and Aries.

Next PPV is Money in the Bank followed by Great Balls of Fire.

Wrestlemania Live Reportback

We were running late, searching for food and the escalator to our section was broken.

We arrived in time for one of the matches I was most excited about at least.

Neville (c)  vs Ares was amazing, and it was awesome to see them put on suck a show for us. These two can wrestle and IMO deserved to be in the main show.

The Andre The Giant Memorial battlw royal begin…

A bunch of people who dont matter get tossed out immediately. There is no way to review this madness in real time.  Rob Gronkowski of the NE Patriots climbed over the barricaide after Jinder Mahal dumped water on him at ringside. Mojo Rawley eliminated Jinder Mahal for the win.

Next is Baron Corbin vs Dean Ambrose (c) for the Intercontinental Championship, Dean Ambrose retained his title.

AJ Styles vs Shane MacMahon, this match was awesome. Shane still has “it” and AJ was awesome as always. AJ by pinfall.

Kevin Owens vs Chris Jericho (c) for the US Title. Winner and new US Champ Kevin Owens.

Bayley (c) vs Nia Jaxx vs Charlotte Flair vs Sasha Banks for the RAW Womens Title Nia was eliminated first followed by Sasha. Bayley retains her title with the pin on Charlotte.

Enzo Amore and Big Cass vs Cesaro and Sheamus  vs Gallows and Anderson (c) for the Raw Tag Team Titles. The New Day comes out to make an announcement that this is now a fatal 4 way…. And the Hardys have RETURNED to WWE!!! Your new Raw Tag Champs are The Hardy’s!

The Miz and Maryse vs John Cena and Nikki Bella… Cena and Bella win… lots of boo’s. John Cena then asks Nikki to marry him… more boo’s… she didn’t say anything audible whatsoever. Way to have a “moment”.

Seth Rollins vs HHH in a non sanctioned match. Stephanie took a hard bump thrpugh the table, and Rollins picks up the win after a Pedigree on HHH.

Randy Orton vs Bray Wyatt  (c) for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Winner and new champion Randy Orton.

Next Brock Lesner vs Goldberg… please make this end fast. It did. Goldberg won.

Next is all the Smackdown Live women vs Alexa Bliss (c) for the Smackdown Womens Championship. The challengers are: Becky Lynch, Micky James, Nattie Neidhart, Carmela, and Naomi. Naomi  wins by submission on Alexa Bliss and is your new Champion!

The New Day comes out… to announce the attendance record. Record breaking crowd 75,245 people at the Citrus Bowl aka Camping World Stadium.

Main event time! Roman Reigns vs The Undertaker!!!! ROMAN REIGNS WON!!! After the match the undertaker left his gear in the ring, ignalling his retirement.

Thank you Taker.

Overall this was in my top 10 Manias.
