No Mercy 2017 Predictions

WWE No Mercy is this Sunday in Los Angeles, CA at the Staples Center! Tickets are available on StubHub and Ticket Liquidator right now, some prices are lower than Ticketmaster!

Intercontinental Champion The Miz vs. Jason Jordan – Jason Jordan has shown some serious promise… must be in his genetics… hahaha You know when they announced he was “Kurt Angles son, I actually did the research to see if that could even make sense. It can. Jordan should be able to beat The Miz fair and Square, but this is The Miz we are talking about. The Miz will retain his title.

Finn Bálor vs. Bray Wyatt – Will the Demon Bálor come out to play for No Mercy? We can only hope! I got my money on Bálor.

Raw Tag Team Champions Seth Rollins & Dean Ambrose vs Cesaro & Sheamus – Cesaro and Sheamus really, really want their titles back. Ambrose and Rollins aren’t going to be that easy to beat. I have Rollins and Ambrose retaining.

WWE Cruiserweight Champion Neville vs. Enzo Amore – Neville is amazing. Enzo is… hilarious. Is Neville going to be able to outsmart Enzo’s hijinks? I think Enzo may walk away with the Cruiserweight Championship.

Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss vs Sasha Banks vs. Bayley vs. Nia Jax vs. Emma (Fatal 5-Way Match) NIA JAX!!!!!! Nuff said.

John Cena vs. Roman Reigns- RAW called this a “Dream Match” um WUT? I can hear the boo’s already… for both of them. Does anyone actually care about this match? I hear more people talking about Nikki Bella on Dancing with the Stars, than John Cena’s wrestling career these days. I’m sticking with Roman Reigns on this one.

Universal Champion Brock Lesnar vs. Braun Strowman – IF BRAUN STROWMAN LOSES I RIOT!!!!

With the global markets opening today, there has been some interesting movement in the WWE Backlash PPV on the WWE Network. Jinder Mahal, who became a heavy favorite at -1125 to defeat Randy Orton. It seems the wider market has issued a correction on this match, and while still favored Jinder’s chances have decreased to -405. This is one to keep an eye on as the world is now backing Orton with their money. Will the gamblers continue the trend of backing Orton?

Another wild shift leaves Sami Zayn vs Baron Corbin in a dead heat, both “favored” at -120. This is what sports books generally do when they can’t project a winner and big money wagered on either of these men would surely move the line.

Shinsuke Nakamura’s ridiculously favorable odds have been cut but are still strikingly impressive. Odds of -4500 downgraded to +2600 posits the question of why anyone is backing Ziggler at all.

Kevin Owens vs AJ Styles is unchanged seeing Kevin Owens with odds of -720. Styles earlier this week was favored to win, but the odds flipped completely this weekend.

These odds are all graded under “end of broadcast grading”. Often in WWE, the decision is reversed or a match is restarted after the initial decision is commonplace. The “end of broadcast grading” is designed to account these “Dusty Finish” situation.

WWE Backlash can be watched on the WWE Network on Sunday May 21 at 8PM EST. Pre-Show at 7PM EST. [clink id=”2″ target=”_blank”]Start your free month today[/clink]!

Bets Being Taken For If WWE Will #FireJBL

The following European Market odds are from Paddy Power. Wagers are not available from all countries. Visit Paddy Power by clicking here

With the impressive amount of mainstream press related to JBL’s involvement in Mauro Ranallo’s sudden departure from longtime employer WWE, coupled with outcry from supporter’s of Mauro for JBL to be fired over this, Paddy Power has posted betting odds on if JBL will indeed be released from the WWE.

The odds have shifted and JBL is now favored at 8/15 to keep his job after all, or at least last until July, a 65% chance of keeping his job. This could be the result of several factors, the first being JBL being kept on television this week on Smackdown. One would think if the WWE was concerned about the situation that JBL would at least not be appearing while the controversy cools off. Instead, it’s business as usual.

Another factor is the recent news of Mauro’s management being in talks with WWE about a settlement with Mauro. It is rumored that part of the settlement would be a non-disclosure agreement meaning Mauro wouldn’t be able to publicly talk about the JBL situation or negatively about the WWE. If there was a plan to terminate JBL’s contract, would the WWE really be discussing a settlement?

Will JBL Still be Contracted to the WWE on July 1st 2017?

Will JBL Still Be Under Contract on 7/1/17? April 15
YES 8/15
NO 11/8

The WWE appears to have no plans of removing JBL from his various duties in the WWE as they have not taken him off of television yet. He continued his regular task of being a commentator for Smackdown Live on Tuesday nights this week and there seems to be no plans to punish him for accusations that JBL bullied Mauro into not showing up for his bookings as a broadcast partner with JBL. Ranallo is not expected to be returning to the company and many are blaming JBL.

Threat of canceled subscriptions to the WWE Network by irate critics of JBL along with continued coverage by mainstream media may cause the WWE to reconsider keeping JBL employed. Ultimately WWE answers to it’s stockholders and if having JBL on the payroll hurts the company’s stock, there may be no choice but to release him from his contract.

It will be very interesting to see what outcome will be backed by gamblers. July is almost two months away and these odds could potentially move significantly in wither direction. Unfortunately for JBL, these odds being posted by Paddy Power will only serve to keep this public relations nightmare for what already is looking to be a story that won’t die. The longer this situation remains in the headlines the worse JBL’s chances of staying out of the unemployment line become.

Wrestlemania 33 Betting Odds, Who is Favored to Win?

The following European Market odds are from Paddy Power. Wagers are not available from all countries. Visit Paddy Power by clicking here

The European market has released odds for most of the matches for this year’s Wrestlemania in Orlando. These lines can be used to determine early projections for who will be victorious at the “Show of Shows”. A quick and easy explanation if you are unaware of how to interpret these lines is that a bet on the number to the right of the forward slash would win the number on the left. If the number on the left is larger than that of the right, this indicates the underdog and vice versa for the favorite. For example Universal Champion Goldberg is an underdog at 6/1 currently so a successful $1 would win $6. Brock Lesnar, who is challenging Goldberg, is a favorite at 1/16 with a $16 bet winning only $1. that’s how favored Brock is right now. This could change.

The current projected winners for Mania are the aforementioned Lesnar, Randy Orton, Bayley, Kevin Owens, Gallows & Anderson, Roman Reigns, John Cena & Nikki Bella, AJ Styles and Seth Rollins. The Cruiserweight Championship have both Neville and Austin Aries is in a dead heat with both at 6/5 and this will settle in one direction or the other soon enough. The Andre the Giant Battle Royal have had lines available for a while and Braun Strowman has been favored all along to win it. No odds are available for The Smackdown Women’s Championship as of press time.

Once again these are the European odds and American odds will be available as we get closer to the event. For updates on when this happens please subscribe for updates.

How an 80 Cent Bet Could Win $495,330 at WWE Elimination Chamber

How could an 80 cent bet win almost $500,000. Through a parley bet on tonight’s Elimination Chamber on the WWE Network. A parlay bet is done by selecting a number of picks and betting that every one will end up winning. This is winner takes all and the choices have to be absolutely perfect of you win nothing. Parlays are the riskiest bets to make and because of this, they have the potential to be the most rewarding.

A bet of only 80 cent on 4 of the underdogs tonight parlayed together would yield upon success $495,330.40. Wagers like this one are being taken because they are so improbable. The bet attempted in the image below was originally for one dollar but the book had to lower the amount wager due to a maximum of winnings for being $500,00.

Undertaker or Braun Strowman No Longer Favored to Win Royal Rumble

[clink id=”14″]Paddy Power[/clink] is offering plenty of action on the Royal Rumble, with a selection of odds on 70 potential winners of the Rumble on Sunday January 29. The best place to watch is the WWE Network.

Update 1/26: Randy Orton is now favored to win the Royal Rumble. John Cena is favored to defeat AJ Styles, Roman Reigns is favored to beat Kevin Owens, Charlotte is a heavy favorite to retain vs. Bayley and Neville is even more heavily favored to win against Rich Swann.

Update 1/24: – The lines have moved and this is not uncommon. Goldberg actually now has the best odds at 3/1. Braun Strowman has been downgraded to 7/2 and the Undertaker to 4/1. A more in depth article will be out tonight with updated odds but a visit to Paddy Power will yield the most updated lines for all Royal Rumble betting. Look under novelties and then “sports novelties” and the option to view WWE lines will be available. This article will remain for posterity to study how lines can move.

Right now The Undertaker and Braun Strowman both have the most favorable odds, both at 3/1 odds. This is the fractional odds system. $3 would be won on a successful bet of $1 on either Taker or Strowman. Randy Orton is the next most likely with odds of 7/2 meaning a 2 dollar bet will yield 7 if Orton were to win. Finn Balor and Samoa Joe would rank as a tie at #4 to win. This is surprising considering Joe isn’t even on the main roster and Finn Balor isn’t expected to return from injury until at least Wrestlemania 33 in April.

Some interesting names also with odds are Hulk Hogan, CM Punk, Shaquille O’Neal, Conor McGregor and even Ronda Rousey. Retired Champions of the past include Shawn Michaels, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin and The Rock.

There are some unbelievable and seemingly impossible winners as well. Both President Donald Trump and President Barack Obama have odds of 1000/1. Neither man is actually booked for the Royal Rumble and either showing up at the event to any capacity isn’t much of a possibility, let alone winning the match. Floyd Mayweather is also at 1000/1 odds.

Take a look at this entire list of 70 names that could win the Royal Rumble this year and follow any sudden changes and follow them at[clink id=”14″] Paddy Power[/clink]. Wagers are taken through Ireland and do not accept wagers from all countries. There will be sportsbooks like 5Dimes that do take customers from around the world offering Royal Rumble odds worldwide. Who is Favored to Win at WWE Roadblock 2016?

The odds for Roadblock has now been set by 5Dimes and this is the latest we’ve ever had to wait for lines to a PPV. Currently Roman Reigns, Sasha Banks, Rich Swann,The team of Cesaro and Sheamus, Braun Strowman, Seth Rollins and Rusev are favored as winners.Within a few hours of the lies being set, The Universal Championship match flipped completely, originally considering Roman Reigns an underdog. A possible reason for this could be players putting a disproportional amount of money of Roman, leading to the change in lines creating a “balanced book”. Also, The women’s match was originally in a dead heat with both Sasha and Charlotte both being listed as slight underdogs, but now Sasha is heavily favored.

A quick education in how to read the “money lines” is as simple as understanding the minus sign represents the favorite and the plus sign indicating the underdog. Based on the lines listed here a $100 bet on Owens at +180 would win $180, but it would take a $260 bet on Roman to win only $100 since he is as favored as he is. All of the lines here fall under “end of broadcast” ruling meaning if the initial finish is overruled or a match is restarted, the final result is the one recognized by sportsbooks. This accounts for “Dusty Finishes”.

WWE Universal Championship

WWE No Mercy Predictions and Expert Analysis

AJ Styles, Becky Lynch and Baron Corbin are heavy favorites achieve victory at WWE No Mercy this Sunday on the WWE Network. The sportsbook 5Dimes has set early lines have for 7 matches at the event and are known to change drastically in the days and hours leading up to the matches themselves. Allow me to break down these matches and odds with my valuable expert analysis.

WWE World Championship Triple Threat
AJ Styles -1050 vs Field of John Cena and Dean Ambrose +550

No surprises with the main event with Styles being heavily favored. He’s considered an asset now by the WWE since he has proven himself to an asset to the promotion and the wise plan would be for AJ to hang onto that championship as long as possible. We also know that John Cena won’t be around due to the filming of American Grit Season 2 and neither will Dean Ambrose because he has another movie to film for WWE Studios.

The storyline of the match revolves around real life issues between John Cena and Dean Ambrose which resulted in some of the deepest, most powerful promos between the two. This began with Ambrose calling Cena a “lazy part timer” and Cena countering that he worked away from the ring to drive WWE into a truly worldwide entity with designs on a Wrestlemania in China. Dean also brought up that John has his own locker room and didn’t bother with the rest of the performers. Cena took issue with this and explained to “you are the sum of the 5 people you surround yourself with and Dean would slow him down. This would continue for weeks and weeks.

Both challengers may end up too focused on each other and lose sight of the WWE Championship and expect Styles to exploit this and squeak out a victory in the midst of the chaos. There is no champions advantage in place as per the rules of a triple threat match do not permit a count out or a disqualification.

Playing the field here is tempting but risky and consider AJ to be a lock here. For entertainment value picking the field of John Cena and Dean Ambrose is the fun pick, but AJ is money in the bank.

WWE Smackdown Women’s Championship
Becky Lynch -1580 vs Alexa Bliss +750

Massive line for Becky Lynch and I’m very confident she will be able to win so convincingly that the probable finish is Alexa tapping out to Becky clean in the middle of the ring. The risk vs reward is not a smart wager to make. Alexa could pick a win by DQ or count out and drag this feud out another month. A fluke is possible here and Bliss’ “Harley Quinn” cosplay has been catching on and it could be ripe time to elevate Bliss. Stay away from any serious picks on this one.

WWE Smackdown Tag Team Championship
Heath Slater & Rhyno +140 vs The Usos -180

The tag team championships are slightly favored to change hands, save for the DQ or count out provision. This is a good pick but expect the lines to move further in the direction of The Usos. The new heel gimmick has invigorated this team and it must be capitalized on. Heath Slater & Rhyno had a Cinderella run to the titles and The Usos have too much experience as a team to lose again.

WWE Intercontinental Championship vs Career
The Miz -155 vs Dolph Ziggler +115
These lines will change dramatically and I can’t predict which was it will go. Rumors of Dolph taking a job as a WWE producer exist and most believe he will lose and Ric Flair predicting Ziggler retires make these close odds especially shocking. One would think that The Miz, who is having an epic run as IC Champion, would be more heavily favored in the early market. My pick is The Miz though I’m not especially confident in this backing.

Randy Orton +115 vs Bray Wyatt -155
Randy Orton is a good pick here and it’s puzzling that he is an underdog. I could see this one flipping completely. Orton just lost badly twice to Brock Lesnar and Smackdown could use another fan favorite with steam. WWE has shown no commitment to building Bray Wyatt into a main eventer and if he somehow wins expect Bray to become one. No likely,

Nikki Bella -300 vs Carmella +220
Bella’s the obvious pick with Total Bellas premiering. Nikki has the top name value out of all women that currently compete in the WWE. Awesome feud here, but Carmella is being fed to Nikki. Bella is going after the championship from here.

Preshow Match
Jack Swagger +500 vs Baron Corbin -900
Corbin seems like he’s too favored here and Jack Swagger is a smart pick here because he has more of a chance than 5Dimes is currently giving him. Jack has been repackaged and fans are buying into him again. Don’t get it wrong, Baron is probably winning this, but picking Swagger yields a great reward for little risk. The economics point to Swagger.

Will be interesting to see how the lines change at 5Dimes over the weekend.

Clash of Champions Betting Odds are Finally Here!

5Dimes has finally set the lines for Sunday’s Clash of Champions. The lines changed very quickly from the initial setting.

WWE Universal Championship

Kevin Owens -1050 vs Seth Rollins +550

No surprise here with Owens just winning the title recently and taking a loss to Roman Reigns in a cage match on the go home edition of RAW. Typically a loss on the go home show almost always leads to a victory on the PPV events. Still, Rollins at +550 is tempting as even though he went to a draw with Rusev on RAW, he is considered to have gotten the better off Rusev by jumping of of the announce table onto Rusev. Also, as always, a Rollins win does not necessarily mean a title change with the possibility of a DQ or count out loss, although that would be unlikely with this match likely to go on last.

WWE United States Championship

Rusev +480 vs Roman Reigns -840

Surprising that Roman is favored here with him winning the cage match Monday and with Rusev appearing weaker in his match with Seth Rollins on RAW.

WWE Tag Team Championships

The New Day +330 vs Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson -490

The New Day’s long title reign is probably ending this Sunday and it makes sense as Gallows and Anderson need to get the titles to stay relevant.

WWE Women’s Championship Triple Threat Match

Charlotte -390 vs Sasha Banks +270 vs Bayley +270 (Sasha Banks and Bayley are considered in the “field”, meaning a wager placed against Charlotte includes either woman at +270)

This is tough to call and while it’s tempting to take the field and get two underdogs for the price of one, expect the cunning Charlotte to play Sasha and Bayley against each other and squeak out a victory while everyone involved is not weakened in the least.

WWE Cruiserweight Championship

T.J. Perkins -930 vs Brian Kendrick +510

T.J. Is heavily favored here and Kendrick is probably only in this match because he is a familiar face within the WWE history that can lend that credibility to the new cruiserweight division and champion.

Alicia Fox +850 vs Nia Jax -1750

No secret that Nia is being built into a monster so the lines aren’t shocking. Still, with Alicia being knocked unconcious and left laying by Nia gives a sliver of hope that she could make things interesting by pulling off a fluke here

Best of 7 Finals

Cesaro +185 vs Sheamus -265

The thought here is that Cesaro isn’t in the favor of management and that Sheamus is too valuable to lose this based on how much he gets paid as a downside guarentee.

Sami Zayn -560 vs Chris Jericho +370

These odds make total sense but Jericho has become one of those rare performers that pull off unexpected wins like he did at Wrestlemania 32 against AJ Styles.

These lines can be followed at 5Dimes and all of the above lines are under the “end of broadcast ruling” clause, meaning if the result is reversed before the ending of the PPV then that is the result 5Dimes recognizes.

Here is an idea of what better $1 on everyone would make on a win.
