Kick Off Show:

Rusev and Lana vs Cien Almas and Zelina Vega – I love Lana’s gear. She always looks sharp. Why the hell is there a commercial for the main event in the middle of this match? I hate that. Lana is getting better and better, and Zalina Vega is a force to be reckoned with. I think she’s going to go far. She proves that after Almas distracted Lana and she rolled her up in a schoolgirl pin with her feet on the ropes.

WWE Cruiserweight Championship Match
Cedric Alexander(c) vs Drew Gulak – Gulak has gotten really mean over the years… He tears Alexander apart right off the bat, but Alexander does fight back when he does get the upper hand Alexander gets mean. Alexander does a cool flip to Gulak outside the ring after Gulack powdered out. Gulak uses the ropes to lock in his submission, leaving Alexander kinda banged up. (Those are steel cables, they do hurt) Gulak tries to overpower Alexander but Alexander fights out. After multiple back and forth pin attempts and 2 counts, Alexander retains his title with a small package roll up.

Raw Tag Team Championship Match
The Revival vs The B Team(c)- After a short and fun match the B team retains the Raw Tag Team titles with the third roll up win on this pre-show.

I think the match agents are asleep at the wheel.

Main Show:

Intercontinental Championship Match
Seth Rollins w/Dean Ambrose vs Dolph Ziggler(c) w/Drew McIntyre – This match was entertaining as expected… There are so many small packages in this match, is it the move of the night? A rib on someone? WHY???? Rollins picks up the win with the King Slayer, and takes the Intercontinental Championship.

Smackdown Tag Team Championship Match
The New Day vs The Bludgeon Brothers(c) – Big E and Xavier Woods are in for this match but are getting absolutely pummeled by the Bludgeon Brothers. Xaviers gear looks like a Tide Pod. Match ends in a DQ once Rowan tries to kill TND with a giant mallet. Winners, The New Day.

No title change.

Money In The Bank Contract Match
Kevin Owens vs Braun Strowman for the MITB Contract – Watching Kevin Owens bump after Strowmans shoulder tackles him is everything… lol KO bounced when he hit the diamond plate. WOW. With a big powerslam its over. Braun did not let KO win.

Smackdown Women’s Championship Match
Becky Lynch vs Charlotte Flair vs Carmella(c)- If there was ever a time to #RehireEllsworth its now, as Carmella needs him more than ever. WHY ARE THERE SO MANY SMALL PACKAGES ON THIS PPV? Other than that this match has been great. Carmella has come a long way, Becky looked awesome as always, and Charlotte is insanely athletic. Charlotte wins the title after pinning Becky Lynch. Becky got robbed. Crowd chanting for Becky afterward, she embraces Charlotte, then socks her in the face, the crowd explodes, pop of the night so far. Becky continues her assault on Charlotte outside the ring. Charlotte goes for a ride into the German Announce Desk. I guess thats an irish congradulations.

WWE Heavyweight Championship Match
Samoa Joke vs “The Phenominal” AJ Styles (c) – Shit talking to kick it off, AJ’s soccer mom hair is on point tonight. I wonder how many rest holds Styles will have to take to keep Joe in the match? He’s already blown up and super sweaty and we are only a few minutes in. This match is ok, but TBH these guys could do more, and the women’s match before it totally shows them up. This match is pretty meh, gets into some power moves, AJ takes Joe out, is bleeding then goes and gets his wife and kid, and leaves the ring. Samoa Joe follows AJ, and we cut to commercial. Did the match end? I am so confused. Oh well it was boring anyway.

Who wants to walk with Elias? I am so excited about his latest hit. Elias’s guitar neck snaps, the crowd chants “You Fucked Up” Elias throws some stuff around, it goes dark.

Daniel Bryan vs The Miz – Daniel Bryan looks better than ever. Not going to write much, as honestly I rather watch. This match was great. The Miz wins when Maryse gives him some brass knuckles from ringside, to knock Bryan out.

Baron Corbin vs Finn Balor – THE DEMON HAS RETURNED!!! The crowd is loving it and so am I. Poor Baron Corbin doesn’t know what he signed up for. The demon paint is on point today. The fear in Corbin’s eyes is epic. The Demon goes right after Corbin, Corbin looks screwed. Crowd is chanting “This is Awesome”. “The Demon” Finn Balor makes easy work of Corbin.

United States Championship Match
Jeff Hardy vs Shinsuke Nakamura – Jeff Hardy Mocking Nakamura is hilarious. I wonder if Hardy and Balor did their facepaint together tonight. The match overall was pretty entertaining and high intensity, but didn’t feel polished enough for SummerSlam. Nakamura retains.

Raw Womens Championship Match
Alexa Bliss(c) vs “Rowdy” Ronda Rousey- Ronda undid bliss. End of story. Rousy is the new Raw Womens Champion. Did you really think Bliss had a chance? And is it just me or did that turn to a shoot halfway in?

Universal Championship Match
Roman Reigns vs Brock Lesnar – Am I the only one who hopes Strowman cashes the MITB contract in? Or maybe Ronda comes for belt #2? LOL Oh yes I totally called it! Braun Strowman makes his way down to the ring. He asks for the mic. The crowd is going crazy. He announces he is standing here for the entire match and at the end of the night, one of those two is gonna Get These Hands! Yay. Reigns goes after Lesnar and gets off to a great start. Lesnar is a little slow, probably ring rust…lol Lesnar locks a guillotine on Reigns, Reigns counters and both men down. Not a bad start. Lesnar has got the guillotine on again, Reigns is trying to power out. He manages to get up and give Lesnar a spine buster. Lesnar takes Reigns to Suplex City… Is that a Jimmy Johns sandwich logo on Lesnar’s shorts?  Reins does a suicide dive, misses Lesnar, hits Strowman outside the ring, and Lesnar gives Strowman a F5. The Lesnar starts hitting Strowman with the suitcase and a chair, while he stupidly gives Reigns time to recover in the ring. He brings the chair and Reigns spears him, and gets the pin! Roman Reigns is your new Universal Champion! Braun Strowman is still down on the ground at ringside… Guess no one is going to catch those hands after all.

Tune in next time, for more snarky commentary from me!

2018 SummerSlam Predictions!

Hey everyone! I know it’s been a while, but I am back in action! To be honest, I have not been keeping up on whats going on in WWE as much as I should be, but nevertheless here are my predictions for SummerSlam!

Early odds are already out, but I don’t base my predictions on odds, I base them on personal opinions. So here goes!

Raw Tag Team Champions The B-Team vs. The Revival (Kickoff Match) – If they are careful, the B-Team can retain their championship, but one wrong move and The Revival will take advantage. I am going with the B Team to retain.

Rusev & Lana vs. Andrade “Cien” Almas & Zelina Vega (Kickoff Match)- On this glorious Rusev & Lana day, I believe we shall see this adorable
couple take the win because love conquers all.

WWE Cruiserweight Champion Cedric Alexander vs. Drew Gulak (Kickoff Match)- This match deserves to be higher up the card than the pre-show. This will be a stellar match, by WWE standards, as if these guys worked for a company that gave them more space, it would probably be a better match. I hope Alexander retains, but I have a feeling this match will end in an upset with Gulak capturing the title.

Elias to perform his greatest song at SummerSlam – Hell yeah.

SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Bludgeon Brothers vs. The New Day- This match is going to be both fun and violent, just how I like my wrestling. I like both these teams a lot, and would love for TND to take the titles back, however, I think The Bludgeon Brothers are a brutal force to be dealt with, and are going to go above and beyond to hold on to those belts.

Finn Bálor vs. Constable Baron Corbin – I hope Bálor wipes the smirk off Corbin’s face. Sadly we all know that being the bosses pet, Corbin is going to cheat. We will see Corbin go over in this match.

United States Champion Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Jeff Hardy- I was hella disappointed at Extreme Rules… this better be better than that was. Nakamura will retain.

Daniel Bryan vs. The Miz- I think this is also going to be a good match. The Miz has come a long way, and it will be interesting to see what these guys do in the ring. I think Daniel Bryan will teach Miz a thing or two and take the win.

SmackDown Women’s Champion Carmella vs. Charlotte Flair vs. Becky Lynch (Triple Threat Match)- While I think Carmella is a fantastic wrestler on her own, that girl is screwed without Ellsworth by her side for this one. This is going to be a great match, and I am hoping that Becky Lynch walks away with the title.

Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler vs. Seth Rollins- I like watching these guys wrestle too. This match could potentially steal the show. I think Rollins will walk away with the title.

Braun Strowman vs. Kevin Owens- Maybe Braun will let Kevin win again?

Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss vs. Ronda Rousey- To be real, I don’t think we will see the belt on Rousey until Wrestlemania but it would be nice. Honestly I’d like to see Rousey take this belt, then fight Lesnar for the Universal Championship as well, and beat him too.

WWE Champion AJ Styles vs. Samoa Joe- Styles will retain… Joe bores me, but thats not news.

Universal Champion Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns- Rousey will interrupt the match and beat Lesnar for the Championship because the only way they will get Reigns over is if he fights her for the belt.

Early SummerSlam Odds and Predictions!

These odds are courtesy of 5Dimes, a sports book accepting customers worldwide.

The betting odds for Summerslam are out earlier than most PPVs and three champions have odds against successful title defenses. Roman Reigns had been in his three previous challenges to Brock Lesnar and this time is no different with Reigns being favored at -300. Roman ended up losing on each previous occasion so betting against him is tempting considering the trend.

The most favored on the card at -420 is Ronda Rousey in her challenge for the Raw Women’s Championship against Alexa Bliss. Another champion listed as an underdog is Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler. Dolph is being challenged by Seth Rollins with odds of -285 to regain the title.

The WWE Championship match has close odds at this point, with AJ Styles favored at only -160 to retain against Samoa Joe. Even closer odds see Smackdown Tag Team Champions, The Bludgeon Brothers favored at only -140 defending against The New Day. The +100 odds for New Day is an even bet, meaning a bettor would win whatever they bet.

In the Cruiserweight Championship match both champion Cedric Alexander and challenger Drew Gulak have odds of -120 and expect these to change somewhat by next week to project a winner. The United States Championship match on the other hand has set a definitive projection in a title retention for Shinsuke Nakamura with healthy odds of -265, the best odds of any current champion.

Because it’s a Triple Threat match, the Smackdown Women’s Championship allows the sports books to offer all three competitor as underdogs. The champion, Carmella, has the best odds at +115 against challengers Becky Lynch and Charlotte.

In non-title matches Finn Balor is favored at -170 to oust Constable Corbin, while The Miz has odds of -135 against Daniel Bryan. Worth noting is Bryan’s odds are -105, so both he and Miz are listed as underdogs currently, which is emblematic of the sports books not knowing how to call this one.

Who Will Finally Overcome Brock Lesnar?

The following betting odds are sourced from Unibet, an online sportsbook and casino based out of Malta. Unibet accepts player from The United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Monaco, Belgium, Netherlands, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Sweden, Greece, Italy, Portugal, Poland, Hungary, Romania, Estonia, Lithuania, Australia and New Zealand.

Can Anyone Conquer the Conqueror?

Unibet, an online sportsbook and casino based in Malta has introduced an interesting prop bet on who will be the next Universal Champion after Brock Lesnar. This bet is worded very specifically to account for Lesnar vacating the title, which was never considered a serious possibility anyway. This bet is essentially about who will defeat Brock for his championship. One name is favored outright and that name is Braun Strowman.

Strowman is a -200 favorite right now as his stock continues to rise on the Raw Brand. Lesnar, on the other hand, is barely under contract. Roman Reigns has the next best chances of dethroning Lesnar at +134, respectable odds. Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins continues to pull out high level television matches on a weekly basis and lately is being considered by many to be ripe for another run on top. Rollins has odds of +300.

Next most likely is a recently returned superstar endorsed by our friends at Wrestling with Things on Youtube. David Joseph and Sammy Joseph discuss their opinions on who will be the wrestler to beat Brock Lesnar. Watch this video to see why it could be Bobby Lashley, who attained the 4th highest projection to topple Lesnar. Lashley has odds of +500.

Tied for 5th, both with odds of +800 are Finn Balor and Jinder Mahal. There has been talk of a Lesnar vs Balor match in the past, but it never came to fruition. There was a match actually booked last year at Survivor Series between Mahal and Brock, but that was changed when AJ Styles won the WWE Championship away from Jinder. Below is a list of even more possibilities one who will win the Universal championship next.

Next Universal Champion After Brock Lesnar

Braun Strowman -200

Who is Favored to Win The Greatest Royal Rumble?

The following odds come from our friends at 5Dimes

On the day before The Greatest Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia, only one of the seven championships on the line project the champion to retain. Even then it’s worth noting that Roman Reigns, while still favored, has seen his odds shorten in his challenge for the Universal Championship held by Brock Lesnar. Last week Roman was favored at -700, but now he is only at -305. Also, since the Raw Tag Team Championship is vacant, there is no possibility for the titles to be retained. The former champions, Cesaro and Sheamus however, are huge underdogs against their opponents, Bray Wyatt and Matt Hardy, who are favored at -1050, the best odds out of anyone on this event. With Cesaro and Sheamus now on Smackdown and this being for the Raw Tag Titles, these odds are easy to believe.

The Undertaker has very good odds of -900 to defeat Rusev in a casket match and John Cena has respectable odds of -230 to best Triple H. For the actual Greatest Royal Rumble Match itself, Braun Strowman still has the best odds and these have moved even more in his favor to +105, whereas they had been +500 previously. According to the odds the only entrant that would have a chance is Daniel Bryan at +220.

A brief explanation of how to read these odds easily – The minus sign represents the favorite while the plus sign indicates an underdog. The number after the plus or minus tells us how much of an underdog or favorite that particular competitor is.

WWE Greatest Royal Rumble Betting Odds from Skybet – Who is Favored to Win the Rumble in Saudi Arabia?

Early Odds have emerged via SkyBet for the Greatest Royal Rumble, being held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on April 27 and will be broadcast on the WWE Network. In addition to the 50 Man Rumble, The Universal and Intercontinental title matches both have odds set. The current top favorability in the Rumble is with Braun Strowman. The least most favored is Strowman’s former tag team partner Nicholas, where $100 would win $10000. Nicholas, of course, is not booked at this event and this wager is simply an amusing novelty. Other wrestlers with better than average odds include Bobby Lashley, Daniel Bryan, Rey Mysterio and Elias.

Also projected is a major title change in the steel cage match between Universal Champion Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns. The brevity of Lesnar’s new contract is the presumable driver of Roman being the favorite. In the IC ladder match the Champion, Seth Rollins, is the favorite right now, but only by a thin margin. The Miz has the next best chances to win, followed by Finn Balor and Samoa Joe.

A quick explanation on reading the moneyline betting odds below is actually very simple to understand. The minus signs indicate the favorite and the plus signs represent the underdogs. The number after the plus or minus tells us how favorable or unfavorable the competitors are. In the case of the Royal Rumble, all choices are listed as underdogs, but some have more favorable odds than others.

Braun Strowman +500

Bobby Lashley +600

Wrestlemania Sunday Pregame Betting Odds Breakdown

These odds are courtesy of 5Dimes, a sports book accepting customers worldwide.

A very suspicious odds move has seen Roman Reigns’ favorable chances slashed from a runaway -1200 to a mere -400. With a Roman Reigns victory being considered a forgone conclusion, this creates a few pressing questions that must be addressed. Is the reason for this strange line move the result of an inside leak? Probably not, if this were the case we might be seeing Lesnar favored right now. Is this because gamblers are drawn to the name value of Brock Lesnar, especially with his UFC history? This is probably the more likely scenario and we will have a better idea of why exactly these odds moved when we get the result of this match. Worth mentioning is that this WWE Universal Championship match is still favored by -2000 to go on last as the main event.

Conversely, the odds actually widened a bit in the WWE Championship match. Shinsuke Nakamura has seen his odds increase from -415 to -620. Royal Rumble winner traditionally are very successful with their corresponding Wrestlemania matches, the attractiveness of this match is less about the result and more about the in ring quality. This could be match of the night.

Another challenger to a world championship that has seen their odds decrease would be Asuka, who is challenging for Charlotte Flair’s Smackdown Women’s Championship. Asuka’s former odds of -1050 have dropped to -825, which are still healthy odds for the “Empress of Tommorow”. European Markets are offering odds on a Carmella cash in at a favorable -150. This bet is on an official cash in of the Money in the Bank briefcase with no regard on if the cash in is a success.

As for the Raw Women’s Championship, the challenger’s odds of winning have decreased as well. Nia Jax’s odds of winning have moved from -390 to -350. With Alexa Bliss’ evasiveness, best displayed in the first ever Women’s Elimination Chamber, we could see an upset from “The Goddess”. It’s difficult to believe every title will change hands at this event and it might be valuable to see Bliss’ successful title reign continue beyond Wrestlemania.

Looking into the secondary championship matches, United States Champion Randy Orton is in a dead heat with one of his three challengers. Both Orton and Rusev currently have odds as +100, which is an even bet where you win as much as you wager. This is impressive as Rusev was moved into this match at the last minute to make a Fatal Fourway. The other challengers are Bobby Roode with odds of +765 and Jinder Mahal at +905.

The Interconitinental Championship still has Finn Balor favored slightly, however Seth Rollins has become a close underdog. This match is competitive with the exception of The Miz having dismal odds of +360 to retain in this Triple Threat match.

The Bludgeon Brothers remain slight favorites to win the Smackdown Tag Team Championships in a Triple Threat match between The Usos and The New Day. Braun Strowman and his partner are also still favored to defeat the Raw Tag Team Champions, Cesaro and Sheamus.

In the Tournament Finals for the vacant Cruiserweight Championship, Cedric Alexander’s favorable odds have increased from -295 to -460, a marginal line move. Alexander’s fellow finalist Mustafa Ali is a +320 underdog.

While the unannounced match of John Cena vs the Undertaker is only open in the European sports books, The Undertaker’s odds have dropped from -400 to -295, casting doubt for the outcome of this epic match.

Both the Raw and Smackdown brands have tag team matches centered around the authority figures of each brand. Raw is offering the in ring debut of Ronda Rousey, as she teams up with Raw GM Kurt Angle. Rousey & Angle have seen their odds increase to -825 against Raw Commissioner Stephanie McMahon and WWE COO Triple H.

Smackdown GM Daniel Bryan makes his long awaited in ring return, teaming with Smackdown Commissioner Shane McMahon against Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. The odds on this one are very close and haven’t moved significantly. Bryan and McMahon are favored slightly at -180.

The Wrestlemania Women’s Battle Royal has no clear favorite, however the best odds currently belong to Sasha Banks at +150. The Andre Memorial Battle Royal does have a definite favorite in Matt Hardy with odds of -210. At one point Elias had the best odds to win, and a returning Big Cass is a definite possibility based on his respectable odds.

Challenging for the Universal Championship, Roman Reigns is heavily favored at -770 to defeat Brock Lesnar. Reigns is the most favored out of anyone on the card right now. This match is still favored at -200 to main event, a huge drop from being favored at -1000 just last month.

After earning a title match at Wrestlemania by winning the Royal Rumble, Shinsuke Nakamura has chosen to challenge WWE Champion AJ Styles. Nakamura is favored -250 to best AJ. Unlike the Universal Championship match, this one isn’t so predictable.

Charlotte Flair is a +400 underdog to not be champion by the end of Wrestlemania. This particular wager is setup like this to account for the possibility of a MitB cash in from Carmella. While Asuka is favored at -295 to leave Wrestlemania with the title, Carmella has odds of -150 to do the same. So even if Asuka can win the title from Flair, a successful Carmella cash in would cause those betting on Asuka to lose that particular bet, even if Asuka wins the original match.

The United States Championship match has not yet been announced, however odds are being offered on who will walk out of Wrestlemania with that title. With a rumored triple threat match between current champion Randy Orton, former champion Bobby Roode and Jinder Mahal, those three names all have odds. Of these three Jinder is slightly favored at -118, while Orton has even odds of +100. Roode is the outsider in this with odds of +375.

Another match that is likely but not yet announced would be Alexa Bliss defending the Raw Women’s Championship against Nia Jax. As a -500 favorite, Jax is long overdue for a championship in WWE and this match has been slowly building for a while, often being put on the back burner.

The special attraction mixed tag team match not only has odds, but also some interesting prop bets. The team of Kurt Angle and Ronda Rousey are favored at -625 to defeat Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. The method of finish is favored to be by submission and Rousey is favored to be the one capturing the fall at -400. Furthermore, while the gender involved with the finish is favored at -400 to be female, the male participants are favored at -625 to start the match.

These are early odds and will move and shift dramatically. Some of these are close enough to flip altogether and all matches are subject to “end of broadcast ruling”, meaning the final announced outcome by the end of the broadcast.

Women’s Elimination Chamber Match for the Raw Women’s Championship
Alexa Bliss defends against, Bayley, Sasha Banks, Mickie James, Mandy Rose, and Sonia Deville. Bayley and Sonia to start it off. Sonia Deville and Bayley start it off with some classic wrestling, and Bayley holds her own well against Sonia who has an MMA Background. They fight to the outside trying not to get tossed into the structure. Sonia takes the shot into the chamber wall, Baley gets the first pin attempt. Bayley gives Sonia a big elbow from the top, another 2 count pinfall… the next superstar released is… Mandy Rose! So Absolution is together against Bayley so she goes right after Mandy. Bayley fights both women, manages to hold her own for a bit until Sonia hits her with a sick spear. Mandy and Sonia use Bayley as a battering ram against the side of the elimination chamber. Sonia gets a 2 count pin attempt on Bayley. Sonia hits Bayley in the face with a running knee then Mandy hits her and gets a 2 count pin attempt on Bayley. Absolution but Bayley against the side of the chamber and beat her until shes lifeless… Next entrant… Sasha Banks! Sasha unloads on Deville, then goes to town on Rose, Sasha has taken control and gives Sonia a double knees for a 2 count. They fight back and forth, Mandy tries to cut off Sasha with no luck, Sasha gets another 2 count on Sonia. Bayley is finally back on her feet and her and Sasha team up on Sonia. Mandy cuts off Bayley. then Sasha. Sasha taps out Mandy Rose with the Banks Statement. Mandy Rose has been eliminated. The next woman out is Mickie James, which means Bliss will come out last. Mickie goes right to work on the women in the ring. Not only is she dressed like a superhero, she really looks like one tonight. Bayley rolls Mickie up from behind for a 2 count then gets cut off, Mickie is taking everyone out until she gets cut off by Sonia with a knee, Mickie gets control back, and there is back and forth against the cage wall until Mickie sends Sonia into the ropes with a hurricarana. Mickie climbs the cage, Bayley follows, Mickie knocks her off, she climbs to the top of a pod and takes out Sonia Deville with a high dive for the 3 count. Sonia Deville has been eliminated, Bayley quickly eliminated Mickie James. Bayley and Sasha are able to take a breath before Alexa Bliss gets released from her cell. Bliss climbs the cage to get away immediately but gets corned by Sasha and Banks. All 3 of them make it to the top of a pod, Banks kicks Bayley off the pod., Bliss jumps down, Bayley goes after Sasha, Sasha reverses and gets a 2 count on Bayley. Banks is down, and now Bayley and Bliss are fighting. Bliss is in control for a bit but Bayley cuts her off with a big suplex. Sasha gets up goes after Bayley, Bayley reverses and stomps Sasha. Bliss attacks Bayley, Bliss Superplex’s Bayley from the second rope, Sasha frog splashes Bayley from the top for the 2 count. Banks tries to climb to the top of the pod, Bliss cuts her off and hits her finisher to retain her title, and head to WrestleMania.
Booo… This match was awesome!!!!

Raw Tag Team Championship Match
The Bar(c) vs Titus Worldwide – This match started before the bell even rang. Titus worldwide looks more united tonight than usual, and Titus himself seems to be more on point. This match is very fast paced, so expect mostly highlights. The Bar gains the upper hand and lay a beating on Crews, keeping him away from O’Neil. Dana Brooke is at ringside running numbers. So far most of this match has been laying a beat down on Crews. They continue the assault, Crews finally fights to the corner, but Sheamus knocks Titus to the ground before a tag is made. Finally, Crews makes it to the corner, Titus comes out on fire, take out The Bar, he is one on one with Cesaro in the ring, gets a 2 count after a big boot. Titus gets 2 count after a slight flub by Shaemus. The Bar hit their double team finisher to retain the Tag Championships.

Nia Jax vs Asuka – This match is awesome from the moment it starts. This is the kind of Nia Jax match I been waiting for. I am too engrossed to type tbh. This is awesome. A ton of back and forth, Every time Asuka tried to put a submission on Jax it backfired and she got slammed. Asuka wins after a roll up. Then Nia continues her assault on Asuka and spears her through a barricade before she goes to the back.

Broken Matt Hardy vs Bray Wyatt – Matt comes out first, lights go out, Bray appears, and Matt is missing, but you hear him singing over the PA… Bray starts looking for Hardy, cant find him, Hardy appears from no where and attacks him. Matt Hardy applauds Wyatt randomly, gets the crowd to cheer too, Matt wants to do a lot of deleting. While the wrestling is decent enough the fans lost interest pretty quick IMO. They pick back up when they think Matt is about to win, but they don’t seem all that into it, in fact I think they are chanting Rusev Day… LOL. Guys Rusev couldn’t even save this right now. Hardy wins with the Twist of Fate. Totally disappointing match.

Ronda Rouseys signing Segment – They show her training at Santino Brothers Academy in Los Angeles as part of the promo piece. Kurt Angle, HHH, and Stephanie McMahon come to the ring. Everything seems to go well until Kurt Angle reveals its a trick to get back at Rousey… More promos back and forth and this seems to be a set up for HHH and Stephanie vs Rousey and sure enough Rousey puts HHH through a table, Stephanie slaps her, yells at her, then runs away. Ronda finally signs her contract, and throws it on HHH who is still recovering from going through a table…nn Baylor.

Men’s Elimination Chamber Match Winner fights Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania – Braun Strowman, Roman Reigns, John Cena, Seth Rollins, The Miz, Finn Baylor, and Elias – We begin with a wonderful performance by Elias, as he gets to the end of his song, Braun Strowman comes out, Followed by Cena, and Roman Reigns. The Three to start off will be The Miz, Seth Rollins and Finn Baylor. First pod open… John Cena! Next pod to open… Roman Reigns! Then Braun Strowman, the last man in a pod is Elias. Strowman eliminates The Miz. Elias’s pod opens, he stays in till everyone is down, then tries to pin everyone to no avail. Elias Eliminated by Strowman, good try buddy. Strowman Eliminates Cena! Stroman Eliminates Baylor! Strowman Eliminates Rollins! Roman Reigns wins the match!

Overall this event wasn’t too bad, but no major surprises or upsets, so that’s a disappointment. WWE is way too predictable.

Universal Championship – Who is Favored in the Triple Threat Match?

Who Will Prevail at the Royal Rumble?

When it was revealed that Brock Lesnar would be defending the Universal Championship against two opponents, Braun Strowman and Kane, ardent consumers of WWE were initially puzzled about Kane being involved in the match. Shortly thereafter the consensus was that Kane was added to the match so that neither Strowman nor Lesnar would have to take a pinfall or submission loss. For those unaware, a Triple Threat match creates a situation where a championship can be lost without actually being beaten outright.

Lesnar is currently favored to retain at the Royal Rumble, with odds of -500. This means it would take a $500 bet to win only $100. This makes both Braun Strowman at +300 and Kane at +1000 the underdogs. A $100 bet on Kane upon success would yield $1000.

Lesnar and Strowman met one on one for Brock’s championship in September of last year at the PPV No Mercy and saw the champion defeat the challenger with his finisher, the F5. This was heavily criticized, as the current landscape of important WWE matches usually requires MULTIPLE finishers to defeat an opponent. To be fair, Braun did dominate Lesnar in both the match itself and the scuffles and brawls leading up to it.

With the idea that Kane is only involved to take the pin or be submitted, it would be very interesting to see a prop bet on which competitor will be the one to do so, however no such wager yet exists. Wagering on this particular match is only available to bettors in the UK and Ireland right now, but will be available to gamblers worldwide sometime before the Royal Rumble event.
