How Did Sportsbooks Fare with the Betting Odds? Full WWE Fastlane Results

The odds makers for WWE Fastlane were able to accurately project 100% of the eventual winners. 8 out of 8 favorites proved the odds right including all defending champions. It is unknown if this “clean sweep” by the sportsbooks is the result of an internal leak within the WWE, however the odds never became suspiciously lopsided. Will be interesting to see if this accuracy continues through Wrestlemania. Read the full results below.

Two Potential Title Changes Projected via Vegas Odds on WWE TLC 2018

These odds are courtesy of 5Dimes, a sports book accepting customers worldwide.

Betting Odds are now available in the Global Market for This Sunday’s WWE TLC on the WWE Network. As usual, Ronda Rousey has the best projection of winning compared to anyone else on the card with odds of -750 to successfully retain the Raw Women’s Championship. Another heavily favored performer is Drew McIntyre with odds of -475 of defeating Finn Balor.

While Daniel Bryan is favored to successfully retain the WWE Championship against former champion AJ Styles, Dean Ambrose is a -160 favorite to attain victory against Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins, although a DQ or Count Out would still prevent that title from changing hands.

With multi-person matches, including Triple Threat Matches, all participants often have “underdog odds” due to the added competitor(s) decreasing the probability of all involved, although some are more favored than others. This is the case in two title matches on the PPV, with Asuka having the most favorable odds at +120 against Smackdown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair. Smackdown Tag Team Champions The Bar(Sheamus and Cesaro) have the best odds of all three teams at +110 defending against The New Day and The Usos.

In a TLC Match, Braun Strowman has convincing odds of -320 to overcome Baron Corbin, while Bobby Lashley is a -155 favorite to beat Elias. All matches are graded by “Final Decision”/”End of Broadcast” grading to account for a match being restarted via “Dusty Finish”. All with a minus signs are the favorites and plus signs are underdogs. These odds will change leading up to and even during to the event, may flip altogether and can be followed in real time.

WWE Evolution Predictions

It’s been a while since I have written an article, I am ridiculously busy with my job since moving across the country, back to the North East, and getting settled into some projects I have started.

I didn’t forget about my readers here, and I have plenty more articles to come, just getting back into the swing of writing takes time and a lot of effort on my part. Especially if I want my writing to be coherent!

So on to my blind predictions as other than clips, I haven’t had time to watch WWE in months.

Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey vs. Nikki Bella –  I think there is going to be a Bella Screwjob on this one and somehow Nikki will go over by cheating.

SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch vs. Charlotte Flair (Last Woman Standing Match)- Really looking forward to this match, I think honestly it could go to either woman, but I would like to see Becky continue to hold the title.

Trish Stratus & Lita vs. Mickie James & Alicia Fox – Trish and Lita, duh?

Historic Women’s Battle Royal Match (for a future Women’s Championship opportunity) EMBER MOON!!! Is that even a question?

Sasha Banks, Bayley & Natalya vs. The Riott Squad – The Riott Squad will cheat their way to victory.

NXT Women’s Champion Kairi Sane vs. Shayna Baszler – New champ? Maybe. I think Baszler will take it on.

Toni Storm vs. Io Shirai (Mae Young Classic 2018 Finals) I think Toni Storm is going to take the win this year, and clearly get signed by WWE, they would be stupid not to. Toni’s fan signing lines at shows are ridiculous.

What Women are Favored at WWE Evolution, Current Betting Odds

These odds are courtesy of 5Dimes, a sports book accepting customers worldwide.

The very first Women’s exclusive PPV will be held this Sunday, October 28 on the WWE Network and traditional PPV. The event is named WWE Evolution and represents the progress made by female athletes in the WWE, especially over the past few years since the “Diva’s Revolution”.Eight matches have been announced and half of those have betting odds set.

How the odds work are simple to understand. A minus sign indicates the favorite(s), with the corresponding number representing how favored that wrestler(s) is/are. A plus sign is assigned to the underdog(s), with the corresponding number telling us how much of an underdog the performer(s) actually is/are.

Ronda Rousey is heavily favored at -900 to successfully defend the Raw Women’s Championship against Nikki Bella and these are the most favorable odds of any participant of Evolution. The Smackdown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch also favored to successfully defend with close odds of -165, not nearly as favorable as Rousey’s. Lynch will be defending against Charlotte Flair in a Last Woman Standing Match to continue the series.

Hall of Famers return when Trish Stratus & Lita take on Alexa Bliss & Mickie James. Trish and Lita are favored at -390 to overcome today’s regularly featured talent.

The Historic Women’s Battle Royal see both Asuka and Ember Moon with odds of +300, the most favorable of the field. Nia Jax and Naomi each have odds of +475 and Carmella has odds of +700. There are many more entrants to this battle royal than the odds presently list, including current talents like Alicia Fox, Sonya Deville and Lana as well returning Hall of Famers and Legends such as Alundra Blayze, Molly Holly and Michelle McCool.

Game Day Betting Guide for WWE Hell in a Cell 2018

These odds are courtesy of 5Dimes, a sports book accepting customers worldwide.

The current betting odds for WWE Hell in a Cell on the WWE Network haven’t moved much at all since initially being set weeks ago. We are looking at a situation where all defending champions are favored to retain successfully, and none more favored than Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey with astronomical odds by today’s standards of -1050. To put this in perspective, the next most favored are The New Day at -400, who are defending the Smackdown Tag Team Championships against Rusev Day on the pre-show.

Roman Reigns is favored at -380 in his first PPV title defense as Universal Championship against longtime nemesis Braun Strowman in a Hell in a Cell. WWE Champion AJ Styles has good odds of -300 to topple Samoa Joe once again. The Smackdown Brand’s Hell in a Cell offering sees Randy Orton favored at -365 in a “blood feud” blowoff match against Jeff Hardy.

Smackdown Women’s Champion Charlotte is favored at only -170 against Becky Lynch in a match not only for the title, but also to settle issues of mutual betrayal. Two married couples will compete in a mixed-tag match seeing the tandem of Daniel Bryan & Brie Bella favored at -300 against The Miz & Maryse.

One match is not offering “end of broadcast” odds as of press time so for now it’s initial odds only. We do not know if this is simply a sports book oversight or if there is some other explanation. This match is the Raw Tag Team Championship bout, where Dolph Ziggler & Drew McIntyre are slightly favored at -145 against Dean Ambrose & Seth Rollins. If this match does end up having a “Dusty Finish” of any kind, we should probably take that as an indication that some type of leak or inside betting has happened.

Universal Championship – Hell in a Cell(end of broadcast ruling)
Roman Reigns(c) -380 vs Braun Strowman +260

Raw Women’s Championship(end of broadcast ruling)

Ronda Rousey(c) -1050 vs Alexa Bliss +550

WWE Championship(end of broadcast ruling)
AJ Styles(c) -300 vs Samoa Joe +130

Smackdown Women’s Championship(end of broadcast ruling)

Charlotte Flair(c) -170 vs Becky Lynch +130

Raw Tag Team Championship(initial ruling, no odds for end of broadcast ruling)
Dolph Ziggler & Drew McIntyre(c) -145 vs Seth Rollins & Dean Ambrose +105

Hell in a Cell(end of broadcast ruling)
Jeff Hardy +255 vs Randy Orton -365

Mixed Tag Team Match(end of broadcast ruling)
Daniel Brian & Brie Bella -300 vs The Miz & Maryse +220

Smackdown Tag Team Championship(end of pre-show ruling)
The New Day(c) -400 vs Rusev & Aiden English +280

Shortly after the first ever Women’s Royal Rumble had been announced by the WWE, the gambling odds were set by the oddsmakers. Early odds had the most favored to win being MMA standout Ronda Rousey. This was shocking as Rousey, although inking a deal with WWE last year, has not yet competed in one match. Ronda did get the better of both Triple H and Stephanie McMahon at Wrestlemania 31 in a brief scuffle defending Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. Rumors of Ronda joining the WWE have been rabid ever since.

While not yet being announced as a participant in the Women’s Royal Rumble, Rousey was the outright favorite. A shift has occurred and the undefeated Asuka has risen to the top of the odds and is the most favored at +162. Ronda has dropped to +175, leaving her second most likely to win.

Another frontrunner is Paige with odds of +600. Paige recently returned with her new group “Absolution” and is getting very impressive reactions. Becky Lynch at +700 is the most favored of the Smackdown roster and Nia Jax is at +1000.

Some interesting possible entrants include Stephanie McMahon at +2000, Maria Menounos at +3300 and Lana at +3300. Possible women returning to the WWE for the Royal Rumble include AJ Lee, Beth Phoenix, The Bella Twins, and Trish Stratus, each with individual odds of +2500. Michelle McCool and Stacey Keibler each have odds of +3300 and Torrie Wilson has odds of +5000.

My WWE BackLash Predictions

The odds aren’t out yet, but I like to write up my guesses on who will come out on top at WWE PPV’s.  Here are my picks for WWE BackLash on Sunday May 21st!

Shinsuke Nakamura vs [clink id=”33″ target=”_blank”]Dolph Ziggler[/clink] – Nakamura all the way

SmackDown Women’s Champion [clink id=”34″ target=”_blank”]Naomi[/clink], [clink id=”21″ target=”_blank”]Charlotte Flair[/clink] & [clink id=”8″ target=”_blank”]Becky Lynch[/clink] vs. [clink id=”35″ target=”_blank”]Natalya[/clink], Carmella & Tamina (Six-Woman Tag Team Match) – So confused as to why Charlotte is on the baby face team. I have a feeling she will turn on her teammates. I give this to Natalya, Carmella, and Tamina.

United States Champion [clink id=”17″ target=”_blank”]Kevin Owens[/clink] vs. [clink id=”30″ target=”_blank”]AJ Styles[/clink] – Owens is losing that belt… AJ will be the new US Champion!

SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos vs. Breezango – While Breezango looks fabulous, I don’t think they are as comfortable with each other as a tag team as the Usos are. Usos will retain the titles.

WWE Champion [clink id=”10″ target=”_blank”]Randy Orton[/clink] vs. Jinder Mahal – Jinder Mahal is killing it these days, but will his skills match up against Orton’s cunning ways? If he doesn’t fall into a trap, he may be able to beat Orton, but knowing Orton, he will put up a fight, and pull every trick out to retain his title. Orton will retain the WWE Championship.

Tickets are still available for BackLash, [clink id=”69″ target=”_blank”]you can purchase them here![/clink]

Or you can watch BackLash for FREE if you [clink id=”2″ target=”_blank”]subscribe to the WWE Network today![/clink] (New Subscribers only!)
