Since Edge vs Finn Balor has been added to Wrestlemania and while Edge is favored it’s not by much at -160 with his opponent Balor a slight underdog at +120 so this match is almost a toss up when reflected by the lines. Initially Edge was favored more at -200, so his chances aren’t trending in his direction. Finn was previously a +150 underdog, so this match could possibly flip altogether.

Speaking of matches flipping, we’ve seen exactly that in the Logan Paul vs Seth Rollins match. Initial reporting had Logan slightly favored at -140 but not he’s plunged to become a +250 underdog. Seth was an even bet at +100 however his chances increased to make Rollins a -400 favorite. This is a historic flip in the world of pro wrestling gambling. Could this flip back to favor Logan?

Three Stacked Wrestlemania Matches and How are the Gambling Odds?!?!

Exciting Happenings in WWE and the World of Pro Wrestling Betting Markets

Last night on WWE RAW, 3 new Wrestlemania matches were announced and already there are betting odds courtesy of BetOnline. Needless to say this was a very eventful episode of RAW and it’s difficult to decide what exactly was the most eventful moment with both John Cena and Logan Paul showing up along with Hall of Famers Lita and Trish Stratus appearing. Wrestlemania 39 will take place on Saturday Night April 1 and Sunday Night April 2 at the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, CA. Despite being in Inglewood this event is being marketed as Wrestlemania Goes Hollywood! Wrestlemania Goes Hollywood will be streaming live on Fite.tv in the USA and on The WWE Network everywhere else in the world. The four matches currently announced already have betting lines set by BetOnline and these odds can be followed in real times as they change in the days leading up to the matches. Go to BetOnline to register for free and there is no obligation to make a deposit or place a wager. You will still be able see the odds shift as it is happening.

Advertised for RAW was John Cena, who was interrupted by United States Champion Austin Theory and after some vicious verbal jousting a match was made for Wrestlemania between the two with Theory’s United States Championship on the line. Looking at the opening odds for this one, we are seeing the champion favored by BetOnline at a healthy -400 to successfully retain against John Cena, a +250 underdog. Cena is a grizzled veteran by this point, and likely wouldn’t appear too often to defend the United States Championship and hasn’t been regularly active in many years whereas Theory is young and hungry in addition to competing regularly as the high level that the WWE demands, especially as US Champ.

Damage CRTL will compete as a three woman team as their feud has escalated with the threesome of Becky Lynch, Lita and Trish Stratus. A perfectly salient argument could be made that the honor that Becky Lynch has in teaming with Hall of Famers Lita and Trish Stratus at Wrestlemania in more prestigious than competing in either the Women’s RAW or Smackdown Championship matches. It should be no shock that Becky, Lita and Trish are heavily favored at -1000 to pick up the win over Damage CTRL at +500.

After months of interactions between Seth Rollins and social media celebrity Logan Paul a match has finally been made and of course this will be happening at Wrestlemania, which will also mark the one year anniversary of Logan’s first match in the WWE. This match has very close opening odds at BetOnline. Logan Paul is only slightly favored at -140 with Seth Rollins having comparable odds at +100.

There are some small line moves since yesterday’s update with WWE Undisputed Universal Champion Roman Reigns moving in a positive direction from +325 to +300 while the challenger Cody Rhodes remains the same at +550. The odds for the RAW Women’s Championship have moved closer with the champion Bianca BelAirmoving slightly in the right direction from +155 to +150 and the chlallenger Asuka has lost ground moving from -210 to -200. There have been no changes in the Smackdown Women’s Championship match an the showdown between Brock Lesnar and Omos.

Stay tuned to Betwrestling for updates odds for new matches to be announced as well as updates on the current betting lines or register for free at BetOnline with no obligation to make a deposit or place any wagers.

Wrestlemania 39 Betting Odds Update

Four Huge Matches and Who is Favored by Sportsbooks

Three advertised matches are title defenses and right now the betting odds favor the challengers across the board. Cody Rhodes is favored at -550 to defeat WWE Undisputed Universal Champion Roman Reigns. Roman is currently a +325 and this is an anomaly with Reigns seemingly always favored during his epic championship reign. Even more favored in her match is Rhea Ripley at -800 to win against WWE Smackdown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair, with not so great odds of +425. The WWE RAW Women’s Championship match is far more competitive than the other two with challenger Asuka only favored at -210 leaving the champion Bianca Belair a +155 underdog. In a match with no titles involved we are seeing the longest odds of all and shockingly Brock Lesnar has been heavily favored by BetOnline at -1800. His opponent Omos is a +600 underdog.

More matches will be announced in the weeks leading up to Wrestlemania Goes Hollywood and expect there to be betting odds set by BetOnline not too long after.

Roman Reigns vs The Rock Wrestlemania 39 Betting Odds

Will The Rock Return to WWE to Face Roman Reigns?

While there hasn’t been any matches officially announced for Wrestlemania in 2023, there is one match that has been heavily rumored for the past several years with the serious possibility of happening next year over the course of two nights beginning Saturday, April 1 and concluding on Sunday April 2 at the Sofi Stadium in Inglewood, California. The long awaited return of Dwayne ” The Rock” Johnson is likely to happen at the extravaganza and The Rock would have the goal of being the one to finally stop the path of destruction of his own cousin, WWE and Universal Champion, Roman Reigns.

After not being accepted as a main eventer for years by WWE fans, Roman has since become a megastar. Reigns was able to win the Universal Championship, go into Wrestlemania 38 with that title where he captured the WWE Championship from Brock Lesnar and hasn.t been pinned since Decemeber 15, 2019. This current run by The Tribal Chief is arguable the best story in wrestling currently and the most dominant wrestler in modern history. Much of this success can be attributed to Reigns taking on Paul Heyman as an Advocate or “Wise Man” and forming the faction “The Bloodline” with his cousins The Usos.

Is Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson Related to Roman Reigns?

Roman Reigns’ more famous cousin Dwayne Johnson parallels his cousins’ rough climb to becoming a megastar. Rejected by fans as the plucky newcomer Rocky Miavia, Johnson pivoted and developed The Rock into a character that the WWE fans loved in the 1990’s. Dwayne was able to parlay his success as a top act in WWE into a career as an actor in Hollywood. He has said in the past that he wanted a match with Roman Reigns and the two facing off at Wrestlemania might be the biggest attraction WWE could possibly offer.

Although the match is expected, it is not etched in stone at this point. This didn’t stop BetOnline for posting odds to this rumored bout of Roman Reigns vs The Rock. Opening odds see Roman favored at -175 and The Rock as a +135 underdog. For those unaware of what these odds mean, the minus sign indicates the favorite and the plus sign represents the underdog. The corresponding number after quantifying how favored or unfavored a wrestler or team is. So to win $100 on Roman Reigns, it would take a $175 successful bet to do this. Because The Rock is the underdog and graded less likely to win, it would take only a successful wager of $100 to win $135.

“Stone Cold” Steve Austin Favored by Sportsbook to Hit Stunner at Wrestlemania Before Kevin Owens Does.

Stone Cold Returns at Wrestlemania

Steve Austin is returning to the ring, and although not competing in an actual match, there is expected to be major physicality from “The Texas Rattlesnake”. Austin is appearing as part of the Kevin Owens Show, although this will not be a cordial affair. Owens has drew the ire of Austin, after publicly trashing Steve’s home state of Texas, before challenging “Stone Cold” to be a guest on The KO show at Wrestlemania.

Since there is no match between Austin and Owens BetOnline is offering odds on who will hit a “Stone Cold” Stunner first! Austin is favored -800 with Owens having poor odds of +400. While the stunner has been Steve Austin’s finishing move during his most successful run, Owens has adopted the move as his own. These odds appear to be correct and if they move it will probably be in the direction favoring Austin further. The minority chance remains for Owens to hit the move first in order to “build heat” so Austin can make a “babyface comeback” a hit the move himself…most likely several times while celebrating with a Steveweiser or three.

Wrestlemania 35 Gameday Betting Guide and Analysis

These odds are courtesy of 5Dimes, a sports book accepting customers worldwide.

The main event in the first Wrestlemania to have the distinction of being headlined by females has seen Becky Lynch favored all along and that has never changed. The two champions defending their respective championships in this match have both been listed as underdogs throughout, with Ronda Rousey’s odds always being much better than the dark horse, Charlotte Flair.

The Universal Championship match is currently in a dead heat. Early on the challenger Seth Rollins was slightly favored and at one point champion Brock Lesnar overtook Seth as the favorite. As of press time the odds are very close, with Rollins favored by an insignificant margin, although the odds have been fluctuating rapidly.

KofiMania is in full effect and Kingston is respectably favored to defeat WWE Champion Daniel Bryan. The return of Finn Balor’s “demon” persona revealed to be happening has made him an enormous favorite to best Bobby Lashley in his challenge for Lashley’s Intercontinental championship. Rey Mysterio, on the the other hand, has underdog odds in challenging Samoa Joe for the United States championship.

Three tag team championships are being defended at Wrestlemania. The inaugural Women’s tag team champions, The Boss ‘n’ Hug Connection are favored to retain those titles in a Fatal Fourway with the IIconics having the best odds outside of the champions, The Divas of Doom having longshot odds to become the champions and the team of Nia Jax and Tamina falling somewhere in the middle. Another Fatal Fourway, this time for the Smackdown tag team titles see The Usos favored to retain the titles againt the three other teams challenging them. The Raw tag champs, The Revival are underdogs defending against Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins.

Buddy Murphy’s dominance of the cruiserweight division is projected to continue as Murphy is favored to retain that weight division’s championship against challenger Tony Nese. In other featured matches Triple H is favored in a career threatening match against Batista while Roman Reigns has great odds in a grudge match as Reigns faces Drew McIntrye. Kurt Angle is favored to win his farewell match against Angle’s hand picked opponent Baron Corbin and AJ Styles is also favored to defeat Randy Orton, however those odds are very close at the moment.

Braun Strowman has really great odds to win The Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal, to the point where Strowman has a 50% chance of winning against numerous other entrants. Kevin Owens has seen his odds of winning the royal increase dramatically and is the second most likley to win after Braun. Mustafa actually has the next best odds, which is surprising.

Looking at the Wrestlemania Women’s Battle Royal, Lacey Evans is the clear favorite and it isno secret WWE has huge plans for Lacey, with this potential win being the payoff to how she has been featured with her spontaneous “catwalks” during matches. Asuka has the next best odds of winning the Women’s Royal, which may quell fans upset with her recent booking and overall spot of this card. Carmella would be the next most likely to win this match.

As always, these odds are subject to change from up to the point the bell rings for each individual match. For those unfamiliar will diciphering these betting odds, a minus sign indicates the favorite, while a minus sign designated the underdog. The size of the number next to the plus of minus tells us eactly how much of a favorite or underdog particular wrestler(s) are in a given match.

Wrestlemania Vegas Odds Now Available; Who is Favored to Win on the Grandest Stage?

These odds are courtesy of 5Dimes, a sports book accepting customers worldwide.

The current betting odds for Wrestlemania have a healthy amount of time to change and have even been moving slightly already. These are worth paying attention to and nothing about these odds suggest any type of internal leaks within the WWE, but instead sensible projections in the shadow of somewhat unpredictable outcomes.

For the first time ever in the history of betting odds, Ronda Rousey is listed as an underdog going into Wrestlemania. Becky Lynch is the favorite in her challenge for the Raw Women’s Championship leaving Charlotte Flair as a longshot bet. We are also seeing Seth Rollins projected to slay Brock Lesnar, which is unusual for Lesnar, who is usually favored. Other championship matches forecast successful retentions with United States Champion Samoa Joe favored to fend off challenger Rey Mysterio and Cruiserweight Champion Buddy Murphy predicted to continue to dominate the division by beating Tony Neese.

Triple H has highly favorable odds in a high profile “No Holds Barred” match against the returning Batista. After a slowly built tag team break up, The Miz is favored to defeat his former tag team partner Shane McMahon. Braun Strowman has the best odds of winning the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal with Curt Hawkins, Rey Mysterio and Velveteen Dream having considerably good odds.

Also according to the betting odds, Randy Orton is besting AJ Styles. While Kurt Angle is favored to defeat his opponent Baron Corbin, the match itself is expected to be changed with a new opponent for Angle.

7 Wrestlemania Matches the Oddsmakers Got Right – and 6 That Were Way Off

The sports books didn’t fare very well this Wrestlemania and were only able to accurately project 7 out of 13 matches. 6 upsets happened and some of these were serious upsets. Charlotte Flair ending the undefeated streak of Asuka and both AJ Styles and Brock Lesnar retaining as underdogs were shocking upsets. Enjoy a breakdown of the how the odds settled in every match.

At Least The Oddsmakers Didn’t Get Everything Wrong

Matt Hardy wins the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal – Matt Hardy was slightly favored to win and eventually accurate line move suggests there had been an inside leak with this particular match. At one point there were other participants that had the most favorable odds including Elias, who ended up in a segment with John Cena. Big Cass also had favorable odds but ended up not appearing at all.

Cedric Alexander defeats Mustafa Ali in the Tournament Finals for the vacant Cruiserweight Championship – Alexander had convincing odds prior to this match and they ended up being spot on for this match. This match’s outcome wasn’t particularly predictable so an inside leak placing bets on this match is very likely.

Seth Rollins defeats The Miz and Finn Balor to become the Intercontinental Champion – Seth Rollins ended up being favored right before this match, although earlier odds had Finn Balor as the slight favorite. Seems like an inside leak based on the line shift coupled with it’s accuracy as a predictor.

Ronda Rousey and Kurt Angle defeated Stephanie McMahon and Triple H by submission when Rousey tapped out Stephanie with armbar – This match always favored Rousey and Angle and those odds moved in their favor as we grew closer to the bout itself. Easily predictable attraction match. No leaks needed to call this one.

The Bludgeon Brothers defeated The New Day and the Usos to win the Smackdown Tag Team Championships – Harper and Rowan were favored to win this, but not by much. Based on the Bludgeons recent dominance, the odds favored them and were accurate. It would be very hard to believe this match result leaked or else the winners would have had longer odds.

The Undertaker defeated John Cena with a tombstone – The Undertaker was favored all along to win this, however his odds shortened leading into this, going against sensibilities that the match outcome leaked.

Nia Jax defeated Alexa Bliss with a second rope Samoan Drop to win the Raw Women’s Championship – Jax was favored all along and the sports book were able to call this one perfectly.

Braun Strowman and Nicolas defeated Cesaro and Sheamus to win the Raw Tag Team Championship after Strowman hit a running power slam on Cesaro – It’s obvious Braun is at Wrestlemania to look strong. Even though we never knew who would tag with Strowman, he was always favored to win this by the sports books.

Upsets Galore – This is What Happens When Kayfabe is Respected

Naomi wins the Wrestlemania Women’s Battle Royal – No evidence of inside leaks in this one. Naomi had odds of +1250 for this match and ending up winning. Sasha Banks, Becky Lynch and Bayley all had competitive odds and lost. A $100 bet on Naomi would have won $1250, so this was probably a case of the finish not being decided until right before the event.

Charlotte Flair defeats Asuka to retain her Smackdown Women’s Championship – Asuka was always heavily favored to win this match and keep her undefeated streak intact. While Charlotte was able to win, causing an upset, the nature in which the odds moved in Flair’s direction in the hours approaching the match suggests an inside leak influencing last minute bets being booked. There was no logical reason to back Charlotte without inside information.

Jinder Mahal defeated Randy Orton, Rusev and Bobby Roode to win the United States Championship – Rusev ended up being favored right before this match, and was earlier in a dead heat with the champion, Orton. Mahal was eventually a +3300 underdog, so this was an enormous upset. Jinder had a history of defying the betting odds in 2017 and appears to continuing this trend in 2018.

Daniel Bryan and Shane McMahon defeated Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn when Bryan was able to submit Zayn with a Yes Lock – While Bryan and Shane were originally favored here, the odds flipped in favor of Zayn and Owens before the match. Bryan and Shane winning was a sports book upset.

AJ Styles defeated Shinsuke Nakamura with a Styles Clash to retain the WWE Championship – This was a shocking upset and Nakamura was convincingly favored all along. The outcome was definitely protected.

Brock Lesnar defeated Roman Reigns with an F5 to retain the WWE Universal Championship – Another huge upset, although the odds moved aggressively towards Lesnar as we grew closer to the match. Brock moved to a marginal underdog from a longshot and ended up retaining. An inside leak is probable for the lines to move in this manner.
