WWE Survivor Series Gameday Betting Guide with Final Odds

These odds are courtesy of 5Dimes, a sports book accepting customers worldwide.

While there haven’t been any substantial changes with the Survivor Series betting odds in terms of projected results, we are still able to analyze the data fluctuations and in some cases the lack thereof. Those that were graded to win tonight are still favored, however on a match-by-match, by-the-odds basis we are able to identify whose favorable odds have increased, decreased and have gone completely unchanged.

Those that have seem their odds increase significantly include United States Champion Shinsuke Nakamura, Cruiserweight Champion Buddy Murphy and the Men’s Team Raw Survivor Series Team. Ronda Rousey has also saw her odds increase slightly, but not nearly to the degree of the competitors named in the previous sentence.

There are also two sports book favorites that, while still projected to win, have seen their odds decrease a bit. These include the Raw Tag Team Champions The Authors of Pain and the Smackdown Women’s Survivor Series Team.

Two matches have not seen any change whatsoever in the odds as Universal Champion Brock Lesnar has the exact same odds to defeat newly crowned WWE Champion Daniel Bryan and the same for the Smackdown Tag Team Survivor Series group.

For those unfamiliar with reading the betting odds, a minus sign represents the favorite, while the plus sign indicates the underdog. The size of the corresponding number tells us how favored or unfavorable the wrestler(s) happen to be at a given time, although odds do fluctuate and even reverse altogether. All matches listed below are under “end of broadcast” grading, meaning the final result in the event of a match being restarted or having the decision reversed.

One WWE Brand is Favored More than the Other as Raw and Smackdown Tangle at Survivor Series

These odds are courtesy of 5Dimes, a sports book accepting customers worldwide.

The oddsmakers have set Vegas Styles lines for WWE Survivor Series, an event that features Inter-Brand Play between Raw and Smackdown. Out of eight matches, Raw is favored in five of them, leaving Smackdown projected as winning only three matches. While WWE touts both brands as being equal, the company has also been criticized for showing favoritism to Raw as the flagship show.

Recent trends continue with Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey being the most favored overall on the card, and thus far she has been unstoppable so these odds are sensible. Universal Champion Brock Lesnar has impressive odds to defeat newly crowned WWE Champion Daniel Bryan in a match that had been planned years ago, but scrapped due to injuries suffered by Bryan.

Four hard-hitting bruisers meet in tag team competition when Raw Tag Champs, The Authors of Pain take on Smackdown Tag Champs Sheamus & Cesaro. The younger AoP is favored to capture victory for the Raw Brand. Elsewhere on the card, United States Champion Shinsuke Nakamura is the favorite against Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins.

Final WWE Survivor Series Betting Odds

The following odds have been sourced from 5Dimes, a sports book available to players worldwide. Registration is free and no credit card is required. There is no obligation to place a wager for those wishing to simply follow the odds.

Survivor Series on the WWE Network is looking to be another PPV event where the smart money is not going to emerge at the last minute. This has been the trend since Summerslam. Even though the projected winners still typically hold true, we haven’t seem odds flipping into the opposite direction leading up to the event.

The two matches that started with the longest odds initially have moved even further with Brock Lesnar favored at -1500 against AJ Styles and The Shield favored at -4500 against The New Day. These are the type of odds we typically see for the “smart money odds”, however when this happens it is for every match across the board. These particular heavy favorites are simply due to the results being presumably predictable.

At one point, the Men’s Survivor Series match had even odds, but this went back into the direction of Smackdown, currently sitting at -140. This is still too close to call however. The Women’s Survivor Series match has Team Raw favored at a more decisive -320.

In other matches Charlotte Flair is favored over Alexa Bliss,  The Usos are favored over Cesaro & Sheamus, The Miz are projected to beat Baron Corbin and for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship, Enzo Amore is favored to retain over Kalisto.

To read these odds is simple. The minus sign indicates the favorite and the plus sign for the underdog. The corresponding number after the plus or minus represents just how favored or unfavored the performer(s) happen to be.

5 on 5 Survivor Series Match(Men’s)
Team Smackdown -140 vs Team Raw +180

5 on 5 Survivor Series Match(Women’s)
Team Raw -320 vs Team Smackdown +240

Champion vs Champion
Brock Lesnar -1500 vs AJ Styles +700

Champion vs Champion
Charlotte Flair -410 vs Alexa Bliss +290

Tag Champions vs Tag Champions
The Usos -300 vs Cesaro & Sheamus +220

Intercontinental Champion vs United States Champion
The Miz -160 vs Baron Corbin +120

WWE Cruiserweight Championship
Enzo Amore -310 vs Kalisto +230

The following odds are from Grosvenor Casinos and similar odds are also available at Paddy Power. Both of these sports books are available to a limited number of nations in Europe, however the global odds open worldwide will be available soon from 5Dimes.

Early betting odds for the absolutely loaded card of Survivor Series have been set in the European market, and while many of these are relatively close lines, there are two that immediately stick out as lopsided. The first of these would be be WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar being favored at -500 against AJ Styles who is at +300 currently. At face value, Lesnar should be favored, but in addition it would be difficult to believe Jinder Mahal will not get involved here. Mahal, whose long title reign was ended be Styles recently, has no announced involvement for Survivor Series and one would think that a performer being built up for most of 2017 would not make some sort of meaningful appearance.

Next, The Shield is also favored at -500 to defeat the New Day who are a +300 underdog. With The Shield recently reuniting and being one of the hottest acts in WWE, it is important for them to keep their momentum.

For the traditional Survivor Series matches, Team Smackdown is favored at -167 on the Men’s side, whereas for the Women Raw is favored at -295.

In a battle of the Women’s Champions, Charlotte Flair is slightly favored at -155 against Alexa Bliss at +110. This is tough to call. While Bliss is having a fantastic run currently, the recent 30 for 30 on ESPN for Ric Flair has renewed Charlotte Flair’s star power. It’s no coincidence that Ric appeared on Smackdown to celebrate his daughter’s Championship win and has also been announced to appear on Starrcade.

In other matches, IC Champion The Miz is slightly favored at -139 over Baron Corbin as an even bet at +100. The only title on the line for this event is the Cruiserweight Championship, which Enzo Amore is projected to retain at -225 against Kalisto.

5 on 5 Survivor Series Match(Men’s)

Team Smackdown -167 vs Team Raw +120

5 on 5 Survivor Series Match(Women’s)

Team Raw -295 vs Team Smackdown +200

Survivor Series 2017 Predictions w/Update Goodness!

This Sunday is Survivor Series live at the Toyota Center in Houston Texas! Tickets are still available from StubHub and Ticket Liquidator, so get them now as they are sure to sell out!

The matches have shifted quite a bit since their announcements as we have two new Champions, as AJ Styles and Charlotte Flair replace Jinder Mahal and Natalya in their respective champion vs champion matchups. I am also super sad they released James Ellsworth, and if you share my sentiment, you should use the hashtag #BringBackEllsworth

So here are my thoughts on the matches as they stand as of the time of this writing!
Edit: 2 more matches announced, which i saw on nodq.com
Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn vs Breezango (Pre-Show): Breeeeeeeezango! What more needs to be said?
Elias Sampson vs Matt Hardy (Pre-Show): I hope this is a sing off. No really, I do. I also think Matt will win with help from Jeff who will run in from the crowd.
WWE Cruiserweight Championship Match
Enzo Amore (C) vs. Kalisto (Kickoff Match): We have already seen these two fight it out, and I think this will be an enjoyable match. Since people seem to truly despise Enzo in an out of the ring these days, there is a good chance he will retain the title.

Intercontinental Champion The Miz vs. United States Champion Baron Corbin: This is going to be a great match. I love Baron Corbin, and think he moves incredibly well for a big guy, and this is a great matchup. The outcome will be based on whether or not the Miztorage is at ringside. If they interfere, The Miz could be victorious. But who knows, Corbin may be smart enough to stomp them out early, leaving The Miz to fight on his own… My heart says Corbin, but my gut says The Miz.

Raw Tag Team Champions Cesaro & Sheamus vs. SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos: Really Looking forward to this match. I think it’s going to be a lot of fast-paced fun, with some huge tag team moves. I think Cesaro and Sheamus will take this one.

The Shield vs. The New Day: The Sheild is reunited once more, now that Roman Reigns has returned, but will their newly rekindled alliance be enough to overcome the incredible bond The New Day has built. I am going to be unpopular and say The New Day will be victorious.

Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss vs. SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair: I really wanted to see Nattie tear Bliss apart, so now I guess we get to see Charlotte do it instead. Charlotte… duh

Women’s 5-on-5 Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match
Team RAW: Sasha Banks, Asuka, Alicia Fox, Nia Jaxx, Bayley
Team Smackdown: Naomi, Becky Lynch, Tamina, Carmella, and a 5th woman TBA:
BRING BACK PAIGE ALREADY YOU FOOLS! On that note, the 5th woman from team Smackdown could really make this… Not really sure which team will take this, but wth the current line up, I think team RAW may have this one…

Men’s 5-on-5 Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match
Team RAW: Kurt Angle, HHH, Jason Jordan, Finn Balor, Braun Strowman
Team Smackdown: John Cena, Shane McMahon, Shinsuke Nakamura, Randy Orton, Bobby Rhoode:
WHY DO WE HAVE TO SEE HHH AND SHANE IN THE SAME FUCKING MATCH? Is Stephanie going to be the secret 5th woman… UGH Its like those marks who buy a company to put themselves over… on that note… team RAW will probably win just because they have Strowman.

Universal Champion Brock Lesnar vs. WWE Champion AJ Styles (Champion vs. Champion Match) I don’t want to watch this match. Mostly because I still hate Lesnar, because he is boring and a shitty champ. And honestly its going to be a struggle for him to be in a believable match with Styles, who can wrestle circles around him. I say Styles, cause fuck Lesner.Overall I am Looking forward to the show, no matter the snarky tone I get when I write about the matches.
