royal rumble 2017 eliminations

Who’s Favored to Have The Most Royal Rumble Eliminations?

Other than winning the Royal Rumble itself and clinching a title shot at Wrestlemania, the honor and glory of scoring the most eliminations is the only consolation that can be attained Whoever eliminates the most opponents during the 30 man rumble historically have had bright futures.

Take Diesel in 1994. While he didn’t outright win the rumble, he as a newcomer to the WWE made a name for himself by eliminating 7 men. This is same number of eliminations by another newcomer, Yokozuna who did end up winning the rumble and went on to defeat Bret Hart at Wrestlemania 9 for the WWF Championship.

Dielsel Beats Up Virgil

Kane set a new record at 11 eliminations in 2001 and this record wouldn’t be broken until 2014 by Roman Reigns. Reigns lost that year’s rumble but redeemed himself by winning it all in 2015. Roman would go on to win the WWE Championship 3 times and The United States Title once since then. He is currently set to challenge Kevin Owens for the WWE Universal Championship at this month’s Royal Rumble on the WWE Network.

Based in Ireland, Paddy Power is offering odds on who will eliminate the most opponents and currently the best odds are on Braun Strowman with odds of 1/2. This means a successful $2 bet would yield only $1. That’s how strong this forecast is at the moment. The actual probability would be a 66% chance of Braun throwing the most men out. Strowman also has the best odds and is tied with The Undertaker to win the entire rumble at 3/1, but that’s only a 33% probability as opposed to the 66% to get the most eliminations. The machine is clearly behind Strowman.

Samoa Joe has the second most favorable odds at 5/2, which would be a $2 bet to win $5. Rumors of Joe being fast tracked to a key Wrestlemania match are abound. He isn’t even on the main roster at this point nor has he even been announced as an entrant in the rumble. These odds beg the question of if someone has true, ironclad insider information or the hysteria over the gossip has forced the sportsbook to move the odds to maintain a “balanced book”.

Goldberg is currently at 4/1 and this is a recent sway of the odds as he was at 10/1 as of Sunday. This is the only line that moved as far as most eliminations go.

Baron Corbin is the next most favored at 11/1 and not far behind ties at 10/1 odds are Goldberg, Brock Lesnar and Finn Balor. Like Samoa Joe, Balor is has not been announced for the rumble. Finn is actually still healing from an injury sustained after a barrier bomb by Seth Rollins.

paddy power wwe royal rumble 2017

Here is the full list of odds from Paddy Power. You’ll notice some names that have not been announced for the rumble and a bet and these odds do not guarantee an appearance in the match. This is “All in, Compete or Not” grading. The sportsbook keeps the wager in the event of the wrestler not competing. This is fair because in cases like Samoa Joe, Finn Balor and even Triple H, the speculation is factored into the odds and in some cases driving them.

5 Dimes Sportsbook Review

Our main resource for odds on wrestling matches is 5Dimes. This sportsbook has been in business since 1996 and has been operating on the internet since 1998. One of the most trustworthy gambling sites in the world offers fast and easy payouts on winnings and 24/7 customer service. Registration is free for players across the globe and there is no obligation to place any wagers.

The free registrations grant the opportunity to view and wager on the odds for not just pro wrestling PPVs, but for all major sporting events like Futbol and Cricket. They even offer casino games such as poker and slot machines that involve real money or the option to just “play for fun”. Our favorite is the Lucha Libre slots.

Deposits are especially easy with this sportsbook. Credit Cards are accepted and the emerging e-currrency BitCoin is now accepted as well. Bets can be placed for as low as 50 cent and Reduced Juice is offered on many games.

While 5Dimes has the reputation for posting odds well in advance, Reduced Juice is frequently offered on the day of certain games. Reduced Juice slashes the “vig” of the sportsbook in half from -110 to -105 and this allows you to win more on wagers and people love taking advantage of this.

New players can get a 50% bonus free play reward on deposits from $100 – $400. A $100 dollar deposit would yield an extra. After that they are offering an additional 20% bonus play up to $2000 for a total free play bonus of $520. There are other rewards are available for casino games as well.

Professional Wrestling usually only has action available at 5Dimes the week leading up to the event and can be found in the “other sports” section of the sportsbook when they are posted. We follow the odds with great vigor here at betwrestling and click here to visit 5Dimes to make bets and follow the odds.

Bret “Hitman” Hart vs Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat

[youtube url=”https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=igTphYDReFc” width=”500″ height=”300″]

Today’s Video of the week is one of my early childhood favorites in while I wasn’t “Smart” to the business, I knew a good match when I saw one. My opinion wasn’t pursuaded by the announcers or the Apter mags, but simply a gut instinct. This match was viewed by me via the local video store at the rental price of 99 cent. I believe it was called “The Hart Foundation’ which was a compilation tape which was commonplace at the time. I believe ‘Titan Sports’ released about 9 Hulk Hogan tapes much to many west-coast observers chagrin. Anyhow Bret ‘Hitman’ Hart has been very public in a positive light about his love for today’s ‘Video of the day’. Every wrestler has an ego, you almost have to one to thrive in this tough industry, and while I’m a huge fan of this match, I believe that Bret wanted this match to be seen by his peers, insiders, and general fans alike because quite simply Ricky Steamboats’ match with Randy Savage was known as one of the best matches of all-time, and if you’ve followed Bret Hart closely, he often displays a “I can do what you can do, but I can do it better” psychology. In Bret’s mind not only does he believe he was better that Savage, but he def believes that this match is better than Savage’s match with Steamboat at ‘Mania. You be the judge. The Match can be viewed at the 18 minute mark of this video. Enjoy it..We all know that Bret has. –BR

The opportunity has presented itself to create a new standard for women’s wrestling and make Smackdown be can’t miss television.

The Latest Betting Odds for Wrestlemania Goes Hollywood

Wrestlemania 39 will take place on Saturday Night April 1 and Sunday Night April 2 at the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, CA. The eight matches currently announced have betting lines set by BetOnline and these odds can be followed in real times as they change in the days leading up to the matches. Since Edge vs Finn Balor has been added to Wrestlemania and while Edge is favored it’s not by much at -160 with his opponent Balor a slight underdog at +120 so this match is almost a toss up when reflected by the lines. Initially Edge was favored more at -200, so his chances aren’t trending in his direction. Finn was previously a +150 underdog, so this match could possibly flip altogether.

Speaking of matches flipping, we’ve seen exactly that in the Logan Paul vs Seth Rollins match. Initial reporting had Logan slightly favored at -140 but not he’s plunged to become a +250 underdog. Seth was an even bet at +100 however his chances increased to make Rollins a -400 favorite. This is a historic flip in the world of pro wrestling gambling. Could this flip back to favor Logan?

WWE Undisputed Universal Championship
Roman Reigns(c) +300 vs Cody Rhodes -500

WWE Smackdown Women’s Championship

Three Stacked Wrestlemania Matches and How are the Gambling Odds?!?!

Exciting Happenings in WWE and the World of Pro Wrestling Betting Markets

Last night on WWE RAW, 3 new Wrestlemania matches were announced and already there are betting odds courtesy of BetOnline. Needless to say this was a very eventful episode of RAW and it’s difficult to decide what exactly was the most eventful moment with both John Cena and Logan Paul showing up along with Hall of Famers Lita and Trish Stratus appearing. Wrestlemania 39 will take place on Saturday Night April 1 and Sunday Night April 2 at the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, CA. Despite being in Inglewood this event is being marketed as Wrestlemania Goes Hollywood! Wrestlemania Goes Hollywood will be streaming live on Fite.tv in the USA and on The WWE Network everywhere else in the world. The four matches currently announced already have betting lines set by BetOnline and these odds can be followed in real times as they change in the days leading up to the matches. Go to BetOnline to register for free and there is no obligation to make a deposit or place a wager. You will still be able see the odds shift as it is happening.

Advertised for RAW was John Cena, who was interrupted by United States Champion Austin Theory and after some vicious verbal jousting a match was made for Wrestlemania between the two with Theory’s United States Championship on the line. Looking at the opening odds for this one, we are seeing the champion favored by BetOnline at a healthy -400 to successfully retain against John Cena, a +250 underdog. Cena is a grizzled veteran by this point, and likely wouldn’t appear too often to defend the United States Championship and hasn’t been regularly active in many years whereas Theory is young and hungry in addition to competing regularly as the high level that the WWE demands, especially as US Champ.

Damage CRTL will compete as a three woman team as their feud has escalated with the threesome of Becky Lynch, Lita and Trish Stratus. A perfectly salient argument could be made that the honor that Becky Lynch has in teaming with Hall of Famers Lita and Trish Stratus at Wrestlemania in more prestigious than competing in either the Women’s RAW or Smackdown Championship matches. It should be no shock that Becky, Lita and Trish are heavily favored at -1000 to pick up the win over Damage CTRL at +500.

After months of interactions between Seth Rollins and social media celebrity Logan Paul a match has finally been made and of course this will be happening at Wrestlemania, which will also mark the one year anniversary of Logan’s first match in the WWE. This match has very close opening odds at BetOnline. Logan Paul is only slightly favored at -140 with Seth Rollins having comparable odds at +100.

There are some small line moves since yesterday’s update with WWE Undisputed Universal Champion Roman Reigns moving in a positive direction from +325 to +300 while the challenger Cody Rhodes remains the same at +550. The odds for the RAW Women’s Championship have moved closer with the champion Bianca BelAirmoving slightly in the right direction from +155 to +150 and the chlallenger Asuka has lost ground moving from -210 to -200. There have been no changes in the Smackdown Women’s Championship match an the showdown between Brock Lesnar and Omos.

Stay tuned to Betwrestling for updates odds for new matches to be announced as well as updates on the current betting lines or register for free at BetOnline with no obligation to make a deposit or place any wagers.

Wrestlemania 39 Betting Odds Update

Four Huge Matches and Who is Favored by Sportsbooks

Three advertised matches are title defenses and right now the betting odds favor the challengers across the board. Cody Rhodes is favored at -550 to defeat WWE Undisputed Universal Champion Roman Reigns. Roman is currently a +325 and this is an anomaly with Reigns seemingly always favored during his epic championship reign. Even more favored in her match is Rhea Ripley at -800 to win against WWE Smackdown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair, with not so great odds of +425. The WWE RAW Women’s Championship match is far more competitive than the other two with challenger Asuka only favored at -210 leaving the champion Bianca Belair a +155 underdog. In a match with no titles involved we are seeing the longest odds of all and shockingly Brock Lesnar has been heavily favored by BetOnline at -1800. His opponent Omos is a +600 underdog.

More matches will be announced in the weeks leading up to Wrestlemania Goes Hollywood and expect there to be betting odds set by BetOnline not too long after.

Elimination Chamber0 Comments

Potential Spoilers for Elimination Chamber via Betting Odds

Who is favored to win at WWE Elimination Chamber?

WWE Elimination Chamber will be happening on Saturday February 18 at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The event will begin at 8pm eastern time and the preshow will begin an hour earlier at 7pm. Elimination Chamber will be broadcasted live on Peacock for US viewers and on the WWE Network everywhere else in the world. Betting Odds have to set by BetOnline.

The WWE Undisputed Universal Championship will be defended by Roman Reigns who is favored at wide margins of -2000, which would require a successful bet of $2000 in order to win only $100. Reigns’ challenger, Sami Zayn has odds at +700 to win, making him a huge underdog with a winning wager of $100 yielding $700.

The Men’s Elimination Chamber will see Austin Theory defending his United States Championship against five other opponents. Theory has the best odds of winning this and is rated at +100, which is an even bet. A wager of $100 will win $100. Theory’s most threatening challenger, according to the current odds, would be Seth Rollins, who has the next best odds after Austin at +150. Next most likely to win is Montez Ford with odds of +500. Right behind Montez is Damian Priest with odds of +600. Rounding out the field, the challengers with the lowest odds are currently Bronson Reed and Johnny Gargano, with odds at +800 and +1000 respectively.

The Women’s Elimination Chamber will determine who the number 1 contender is for the Raw Women’s Championship, currently held by Bianca BelAir. The favorite in this match, and by a wide margin, is Asuka with odds at -1000, meaning a $100 bet will win only $10 because her odds are so incredible. The next most likely to win, with her odds at +400 is Raquel Rodriguez. Liv Morgan, who rose to prominence in 2022, has odds of +700 to earn the title shot. Next most likely is Nikki Cross with odds at +1200. Carmella is also in this match and has odds of +1600 followed by the veteran performer Natalya with odds of +2500. There will also be a special attraction mixed tag match with Edge and his wife Beth Phoenix favored to win at -600 against The Judgement Day represented by Finn Bálor and Rhea Ripley.

Potential Spoiler for MJF vs Danielson at AEW Revolution via Betting Odds

Who is Favored to Win at AEW Revolution in the AEW Championship Match?

AEW Revolution 2023 will take place at The Chase in San Francisco, CA on March 5. While the event will begin at 8PM Eastern Time, the “Buy In” Pre-Show will begin at 7PM. This event can be watched live all over the world. In the United States, Revolution will air on B/R Live or Traditional Cable or Satellite Television for the price of $49.99. Outside of the United States this event will be available on FITE.tv.

This will be the 4th annual incarnation of AEW Revolution, the first taking place in 2020. This year’s offering has no matches announced officially, however the main event can be considered a foregone conclusion in that it will be AEW World Champion MJF defending against Brian Danielson. The reason this match isn’t yet official is because Danielson needs to earn this title opportunity by defeating a new opponent chosen by the champion every week until Revolution.

This gauntlet the Danielson must run through is merely a formality to add build and story to the eventual title match, which upon earning will be a 60 minute Iron Man Match as chosen by the challenger. An 60 minute match of any kind would seemingly put Danielson at an advantage however betting odds have already been set by BetOnline for this match and they don’t favor him. The odds favor MJF to retain successfully and they are very lopsided at -5000 in the champion’s favor. This would mean it would take a successful $5000 wager to win only $100. Danielson on the other hand is a +900 underdog meaning a mere $100 would win $900 upon success.

Typically with championship matches, there is the possibility for a champion to hang on to their championship while still losing by count out or disqualification as titles in a regular match must be by pinball or submission. This is not going to happen in an Iron Man match as the winner is decided by how many falls they are are able to win. DQs and count outs could happen in an Iron Man match, however they will not decide the match directly but rather be counted as falls in the overall match itself.

When this match is officially announced, it will not be out of the realm of expectations for some “prop bets” related to this match to be set. A few possible examples of what we could be seeing for prop bets would be –
Which wrestler will score the first fall?
An over/under wager on how many total falls will occur?
How many falls will be by pinfall, submission, DQ and count out(these would all be separate props and there could be 3 separate props for each based on how many total, how many by MJF and how many by Brian Danielson).

Speaking of prop bets, there is currently one available regarding MJF’s title reign. This wager is an if MJF will still be AEW Champion by the end of 2023 and the odds for this is in his favor at -200. Odds against MJF still being champion by the end of this year is +150. The only variable for this bet that matters is if MJF will be champion at the stroke of midnight going into 2024 and this means he could lose the championship and regain it multiple times by year’s end and as long as he has it at that point it’s a winning bet.

These odds for AEW Revolution are likely to change in the weeks leading up until the matches and may have already shifted. Follow the betting odds in real time at BetOnline.

This event will air live on Peacock in the United States and on the WWE Network everywhere else. Below are the betting odds for Crown Jewel. The Bloodline are going into Crown Jewel with absolutely incredible odds of successfully defending their respective titles.

Undisputed Universal Champion Roman Reigns has odds of -5000 and to put that into context one would need to bet $5000 to win only $100. Roman’s cousins and fellow Bloodline members have very impressive odds of -4000 to be able to overcome their challengers, The Brawling Brutes.

Other title matches aren’t so lopsided by sportsbooks with RAW Women’s Champion Bianca Belair only slightly favored to win against Bayley, a +120 underdog. The newly crowned WWE Women’s Champions, Asuka and Alexa Bliss have favorable odds of -200 to pick up a victory over the team that they beat for the titles, Damage CRTL, -150 underdogs.

In other matches, the returning Braun Strowman is projected to beat Omos, Brock Lesnar has decent odds against Bobby Lashley and in a steel cage match Drew McIntyre is slightly favored over Karrion Kross.
